Very quick and prompt service. But holy cow $450 for six hinges. I guess they have to pay for those tv ads somehow. What a scam company. Sad really.

Check prices, people! This company's prices are outrageous!

They took advantage of my husband. a senior citizen. They charged 975 to replace two broken springs with heavy duty springs. I called around after the fact and found that we should have been charged less than half what they charged my husband. Filing a complaint with the BBB and AARP.

Precision by name and Precision by action. We were kept informed throughout the process from measuring to installing. the installer clearly believed in the addage measure twice, cut/drill once. the result is a door that fully meets our expectations. Could not recommend more highly.

They fixed several things. Garage door working now. But WAY overpriced!!

Request repair at 6:30 and was advised that repair person will arrive between 8 to 10 pm. The repair person arrived at 10:30 pm and it was obvious that he did not want to do any work. The repair person was here 5 minutes and gave an estimate of approx $2,000 Don't trust this company. A very poor experience with them.

Antonio Gilchrist was our tech today, out of the Mobile shop, and he was great! It’s the third time we’ve had him in our home and as always he’s polite and always explains what’s going on. It was like welcoming back a member of the family. Would always recommend Precision Door Service with Antonio as the tech!

Just had precision door of Albany fix my garage overhead door. Andrew Priest was very polite young man. He did an excellent repair of my door. He seemed very good at his job. He adjusted torsional springs and replaced cables on drums. I appreciated his help. He was on time and efficient.

Easy appointment, very pleasant and knowledgable technician (Kody Anderson), very good work. Resolved the problem.

Had a tech come out and tell me that I needed a completely new garage door that was a little over $2,400 after tax. Said the part that I needed was no longer made. I get online later and found several listings. Had a 2nd opinion and the other company fixed the issue within 20 min for just the service fee.
Called to complain, had their 1st line of customer service answer and took my notes down. I could just tell in her voice there was no chance they will call me back. Haven’t heard anything yet.
I have also heard from several people that this company doesn’t fix doors, they replace them and charge ridiculous amounts for it.
Don't waste your time or money.

I recently called Precision Overhead Garage Service of Tampa for advice on hurricane proofing my garage doors. They responded the same day and I was visited by two technicians. Both were super helpful. I am trying to decide whether to upgrade or replace my existing doors. Anastasia explained the options available for new doors. She was thorough and professional. She answered all my questions and provided a quote at the end of the visit. Later I met with Robert who walked me through the options to upgrade my existing doors. Robert was also thorough and professional. We explored several options and he also provided a detailed quote at the end of the visit. From start to finish, the process was outstanding in every respect. Bravo.

The installer, Mike O. called ahead of time to let me know when he would arrive. He arrived on tie and got right to work. They installed a new garage door with new rails and torsion springs, They relocated the keypad and attached the garage door opener and calibrated it in 3 hours, which also included the demo. When finished he walked me thru the maintenance. they were both very professional and I would highly recommend them. I was very pleased.

Folks were on time, engaging, and informative. Solved the problem with parts and we did not have to wait days or weeks to get repairs done,

I would give less than one star.
David the technician who came to diagnose my garage door made my garage situation a disaster. Of course need to replace the springs and the unit. We are talking about $2800. He said this is the only option and I will not find a sprocket for it.
Good enough, I bought the sprocket exact fit for $14.95 delivered. I did install it in less than 1/2 hour. Bingo ! It works beautifully . Precision charged $175 for diagnosis.

It is a scam. Do not do business with them . They get advantage of people

On 12/17/2023 we requested an estimate for door replacement.Derek came by and gave us an estimate. He wanted a deposit, but I stated we would think on it.
On 12/21/2023, after thinking about it and looking around at other doors, we decided on a black door with NO windows. So after a revision, a new estimate was provided and we paid in FULL Estimate 60961113 - just under 4K.
On 12/31/2023 Derek texted us to request all of our information for their paperwork etc.
On 01/09/2024 I called to speak to a manager at 350pm
On 01/10/2024 around 11am I was finally called back, and I voiced my concerns about not hearing from anyone about anything regarding our door. It apparently did no good.
01/29/2024 I got a call stating our door was ready, and we setup a date and time for the installation.
Robert arrived and installed our door, hardware etc. I like Robert. He did a good job. He is a credit to your company.

I take serious issue with a few problems I have experienced with your company.
I fail to understand how someone can drop a chunk of money and not hear from anyone in your company for an extended period of time. Had I not called on the 9th, I have no doubt no one else would have called us. Can you imagine how uneasy someone would feel if like us they dropped a considerable amount of money and had not heard from anyone for over a month?

Our new garage door is nice... it is the exact color we wanted. What isn't so nice is the WINDOWS that we did NOT want and did not pay for. It gets worse than that. The door was installed on 2/01/2024. Today is 02/04/2024, and we still have YET to receive a phone call from anyone on this matter. Like I said, there is a serious communication issue with this company.
And to add icing to this cake, the wrong garage door opener was sent. So for two days we had a different opener than what we paid for, but it was functional so at least we were not left without a garage door.

Robert came over today (02/04/2024) and installed our correct opener. It speak volumes to his work ethic that he returned - on a Sunday no less - as promised to install the opener we had actually paid for. Robert has been the only bright spot in this ordeal. He is a credit to your company.

I fail to see how we could continuously keep falling through the cracks. I do not understand how
a company that claims "We earn our customers' trust in 3 important ways" can allow us to experience half of what we have.
I have learned a valuable lesson here.
I have learned I will need to go to the extreme end of due diligence to prevent this from ever happening to us again.
I have also learned we will not be paying in FULL again.

The phone call and response time to my request for a technician was prompt. My door would not open and I was trying to go to work. The tech began by quoting a new door at almost 7k. after declining he then replaced the coils and charged me 720.00 to install a 69.00 part and was gone in 20 minutes. I repeatedly called to complain but could never get a call back. I would NOT use this company again.

Precision is always quick and responsive. Alexander gave me all the options and then quickly installed several upgrades. He was great!

Service man was terrific, Parts Prices through the roof. 2 powder coated green springs $830., $65.00 a pair at retail, bearing bracket $243., 28.00 at retail, 2 cables. $243. $12.00 for prime cables at Lowe's. Really? Great install , Outrageous prices. Price Gouging?? Filed a complaint with the BBB but no response from Precision . Steal your money then Vanish. Poorly run business for sure.

The tech charged me $85 to tell me I need to replace the garage door opener. He was literally here for 5 minutes. I asked if there is any type of repair that could be done in the meantime and he told me no. I could see where the door is catching and asked if there was a way to fix it and again the response was, "no". When asked for an estimate, he told me between $800 and $1200? Now I have Girards coming to do an actual repair. What a waste of money.

I just want to Thank Bryce Strumpfer with Precision Garage Door for responding very quickly to my call! He set up for the technician Ryan Swift to come and look at my problem with my remotes. Ryan explained everything in detail and it ended up I had to get a whole new opener and some other parts. He gave me different options for repair. He then went right to work and had me up and running....The door is the best I have ever heard it run....very quiet and smooth operating. I highly recommend Precision. Their customer service was professional and everyone from beginning to end was super nice to deal with. I have used them in the past with my business as well and have had the same great experience each time! Thanks guys!
