2020 course was online only, what a waste

2020 course was online only. What a fraudulent company. Stuck with taxdeeds and can't afford to TDA them. Losing my life savings on them. Course in Raleigh, NC was cancelled and a pathetic online course. Could not get a refund from the Mormon owned company. Exact date of 3 day course is fuzzy to my memory. Big guy coach abandoned me.

Program meant for the elite

I was hesitant to sign up, fully aware of the risk I decided to take a leap. At first things looked like they could go well, I enrolled in the mentor ship programs, additional support, did the work weekly, however their business model is set up to only help those that already have! Within 5 months into the program everything I worked for was taken away. Invested over $15K to this program only to be left in a mountain of debt and a ghost as my assigned mentor.
If you already have money or come from money this is a great move however, if you are a person building things from the ground up with limited resources, do not allow them to convince you that this business model works - it doesn’t!

I bought the program

I bought the program, was intrigued by the idea of having access to tax liens that had already been scrubbed (vetted) and would not require an excessive amount of time and due diligence . I got a few emails with some liens from my client success advocate, after a few months, this stopped and I was told the position was eliminated, nothing before hand. This was the main reason I thought to go with Premier tax liens. I made a total of $117 . Their portal has some crappy mobile homes and raw land. I definitely didnt get my money's worth for 1 year of this. I would have been better off putting the money I spent into something else. The real estate training part of it is good, but is it worth their fee?? I would say no.

Scammers

I attended the class on January 2020 in Raleigh North Carolina off Glenwood avenue, paid $497 and Mike gave all the hype on how we will have access to buy liens after attending the classes come to find out is all host.
After the classes now you have to get thousands of loans and also buy packages to be able to have access to the online to purchase the liens.
Then come March someone from their office call me with this number 702-844-7815 to persuade me to use my credit cards to make a down payment for a life coach after he asked me how much I have on all my credit cards, when I refused to do so he started having an attitude and upset and told me he will hang up if I’m not ready to use my credit cards.
Then I told him to go ahead and hang up which he did, after that conversation not too long Covid hit, thank God I wasn’t a fool to use my credit cards to deposit thousands to be able to have a life couch who will travel with me to make sure I found houses to buy, fix and sell.
People do not fall into this scam.

I was very hesitant to sign up for the advanced training course. However i am glad i did. My Tax Deed coach Phil is great. He has provided a lot of information and substance to the tax deed process. The only negative is the "marketplace". I really do not see its purpose and they sold me on the "secondary marketplace" which is pointless in my opinion. Thanks to Phil this experience has been great so far.

This 3 day online class was very…

This 3 day online class was very informational but at the end I could not get a price and was not going to commit without one. Every time I would ask, I kept getting different reasoning's/explanations and never prices except the one that cost the most and was not interested in giving up ten grand that easy. Even days after, I talked with Amanda and I still could not get a definite price. The link that we should have gotten so that you can look at the different states liens/ deeds were never sent to me( guessing because I didn't buy any package). After reading all the reviews good and bad, I haven't seen any reviews where someone had a follow thru, where they actually bought liens/ properties. Those are the reviews that will help people not the ones that tells how good the 3 day seminars are. Can someone post what they have bought or how many after using Premier Tax lien!

Premier Seminar

Hi, I attended the Spartanburg seminar on Tuesday 02/11/2020. The seminar was great, but it did end an hour early since it was not many people there. Also, in the seminar Mike did not mention that you could only get the $497 price that night. A co-worker of mines who attended the Greenville Seminar told me today that you could only get it for that price. That really upset me cause I was thinking if you attended the seminar you could for $497. One the class ended earlier just because it was not many people there, so I probably did not get as much knowledge as other seminars did, and then they did not mention you could only get it at the discount price that day!

No actionable info

I attended the January 19, 2020 event in San Antonio. While the speaker was a nice presenter. The presentation is full of stories and testimonials and other antidotes that are good to get you to buy in. Including pressure that you'll lose out on some valuable information worth $3,000 if you dont signup that day for $500. However they presentation lacked substance and was not tailored to san Antonio, bexar county or even texas. While he mentions Texas Florida and Arizona, he doesnt give detail of any of them. He just says 3100 counties 3100 different rules. They encourage you to take notes but I saw a man get scolded for taking a pic of the presentation slides insteading of writing notes.
They flash a screen of what 3 day training includes. Quickest slide ever with tons of writing on it. Then they ask you to sign up. No questions taking during the presentation. They claim they'd be there to midnight. But presentations should have a question and answer session. They had some form of that where they answered questions when you were signing up. I stuck around for a little but had difficulty getting someone's attention to answer my questions after. I feel like the 3 day training was going to lead to another pitch for more training at a higher cost. More upselling and little actual actionable information. There is money to be made in tax liens but I dont think this is the company to help you. Beware of the guarentee. It has some specific limits.

Premier Tax Liens is not trustworthy, in my opinion.

Premier Tax Liens got my first review taken down - which is something factual that I can prove with emails. I now know they suppress bad reviews of the company through complaints to Trustpilot which has resulted in a abnormally high rating; this influenced whether I should do business with them, which is a breach of trust on my end with both companies since I do not see the whole picture when trying to make an informed decision.

I now know I have to have proof of all issues in order to have a negative review 'stand'. Any hear-say such as the company being related to the owner of Neff is something that was told to me by an employee of premiertaxliens.com and may have to be looked into during a discovery phase during litigation.

The series of events that transpired follow from meeting with several employees of premiertaxliens.com in Los Angeles. They said that you had to attend a meeting on one certain weekend for three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). We said we can not attend all three days, but we could catch up from the missed Friday on Saturday and Sunday - since both of us work on Friday. We even offered to do a Friday online and come to the Sat and Sun course. They can't split up the courses like that for some reason and, therefore, we needed to do all online courses. It was not a problem for us since they said we can pick up the information online. We gave them our contact numbers and emails (my particular number which I corrected one of the workers on twice), paid the $495 for the course, and walked out confident that we'd get a call back four days later. Also, for full disclosure, the employees of premiertaxliens.com also asked us to rate them highly on Trustpilot, without having done anything but take money, and sent us a link to do so with. I did so, initially, based upon the presentation, but the events afterwards is where I came back to put in a negative review.

A day later, we got a blank spreadsheet and a logon in two separate emails. I left them alone after, first, logging in and not knowing what to do with the website and, secondly, opening the spreadsheet and seeing empty cells.

We were supposed to get the phone call at 11AM on a specific day regarding going online to get a spreadsheet which was supposed to have tax liens and other information - which never happened. I have the proof because I still have my packet which has the actual number I needed them to call and the confirmation email premiertaxliens.com themselves sent to us.

They never sent a follow-up email asking for clarification on the number nor if I wanted to reschedule. I have no number to contact, so I sent back an email (which I have kept for proof) stating we need a refund - since they did not complete due diligence in completing the transaction.

Since there was no response to my email, I put in a BBB complaint in order to get a refund since premiertaxliens.com did not respond in a timely fashion to my request for a refund. Proof is needed by Trustpilot (and possibly any other organization which may need them), so I still have the emails I received from the Better Business Bureau.

They did not respond for almost two weeks to my email until AFTER the BBB complaint was escalated. The BBB sent me an email at 5AM on a particular day and, weirdly enough, at 11AM on that same day I get correspondence from premiertaxliens.com stating that our refund has been processed. There is proof because I have emails with timestamps.

This chain of events has led me to not do business with premiertaxliens.com.

Hello Jonathan,

We appreciate your feedback. Your review was removed not because it was negative, but because it contained false information and did not pertain to a product or service that we provided. We do not have any associations with Neff Clothing, nor do we know who owns it. Whatever association you think we have with this company is incorrect. TrustPilot has strict policies on the removal of reviews and was only removed with their approval. We have not and could not remove negative reviews without approval from TrustPilot.

We apologize that you were unable to make the scheduled dates for the workshop. Our staff is correct and that we do not offer split courses as we do not have enough students in need of this service to justify doing so. We encourage our attendees to leave reviews based on their experience and are eager to resolve any concerns immediately at the event.

As stated in our BBB response, this information is again, incorrect. Our representative Joe Wenzel, called the phone number provided during your registration at 11 AM PST and was unable to reach you. Joe Wenzel attempted to reach you on several occasions, and at one point spoke to your wife, Latonya. Joe Wenzel continued to try to call you, again with no response. Our manager, Mike Humphrey, has also attempted to reach you in regards to your concerns, also with no response.

In regards to your refund, you issued a dispute on your card. We are unable to refund once a dispute has been issued as it will typically result in a double refund. This had already occurred by the time the BBB complaint was received by our office. We receive notification for BBB complaints in the mail. which can take up to 7-10 days for it to arrive. The information included in your BBB response was also incorrect. As it stated that we collected $4500, in which we have not. You have only been charged for a total of $497.

No attempts were made to contact our customer service number by you. This number is included in the contract that you signed. We would have been happy to assist you with a refund without the need for any escalation, but you have not responded to our attempts to contact you.

Please contact our office at 844-336-3430 at your earliest convenience. One of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.
