PREMIER UK HEALTHCARE. AVOID!

Signed contract for massage bed 22.10.2022.Delivered end Nov. start Dec. Stayed with my family over Xmas and New Year. Wasn’t very well. Back home 2nd.Jan. 2023. Taken into hospital 06.01.2023. Wasn’t able to return to my home on leaving hospital, stayed with my son and daughter in law, in Plains, thought temporarily. Eventually realised I wouldn’t be able to cope @ home.
Around June 2023 my sons brought over massage bed.
Didn’t find it very comfortable, could only lie on right side of bed, seemed to be obstacle preventing me moving over, put it down to my health. Didn’t want to say to my family after paying so much money for bed.
During summer went over to other son and family. Slept on their couch.Actually felt it was an improvement on the massage bed. While I was away, my son, daughter in law and 12 year old grandson,@ Plains, who’d all been desperate to try out my massage bed, gave it a try. Each of them found same as myself. About halfway across bed from top to bottom, something hard seemed to be rising up, they were also confined to the right hand side.
It was only then I realised it wasn’t me, there was something wrong with bed.
Phoned co. Engineer, Mark came out,very friendly, worked on bed, went away for some materials, back and worked on bed..For 1 - 2 nights after I could lie on any part of bed. By 3rd night, back to the fault again. I called out engineer at last 3 or 4 occasions. On 2nd call my son showed him with his spirit level, mattress was not level.
It was clearly down @ right hand side and up @ left. Engineer saw this, worked @ bed. Same problem back again within 2 days. Thinking of this now, I should have requested another bed by this stage. Think he was out another twice, with same result.
Finally decided, enough was more than enough. High time I asked for replacement bed.
Phoned on Wed. 09.04.2025, asking for replacement bed. Girl on phone said they’d phone back next day, Thu. 10th. Have not heard a word since, they’ve got my money, and just don’t want to know. I paid £2,900 for a bed which is definitely not fit for purpose.
This has caused me so much worry/anxiety instead of helping making things a bit easier for me. I am 84 years of age and last thing I need is the despicable treatment from this company, certainly not helped regards my health. If I hadn’t been so unwell I’d have went into their reviews before buying.Please note I wasn’t using massage bed for first 6 months when staying with my son @ Plains. Could only submit review by giving 1 star, which they don’t merit. Date of experience from Dec 2022 still ongoing.
AVOID ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Update, Around 2 weeks ago my son brought over a single bed mattress to use instead of Premier mattress.
This mattress he brought twice as thick/deep as Premier’s. Still found bed uncomfortable, plus couldn’t get over bulge in middle. Realised, no fault in their mattress it was their bedframe @ fault. Stripped bed. Noticed right away there are thin straps going across frame from side to side. In the middle around 6 to 8 straps are bulging/raised upwards, not flat. This is why I am finding bed painful. Around top and bottom straps
are flat. Sure straps in middle do NOT FIT. THANK YOU. There is no way the engineer Mark couldn’t see the faulty straps when he removed the mattress, which he did on every visit.
Got your email, thank you. I am not quite sure what yo want me to do? Can you advise please? Date of experience started Jan 2023 when first used bed and has been ongoing ever since.

ANOTHER CLEVER SCAM, targeting the elderly and sick

Female representative came to visit my wife after an unsolicited phone call from the company. She came 2 hours before the scheduled appointment. She said that she wasn't from the NHS but gave the impression that the local hospital had sent her. Claimed that either my wife or I had answered a telephoned questionnaire. Told her we hadn't: we NEVER do that. Claimed that she had only recently started the job so didn't know how the company got my 84-year-old sick wife's name and medical history. She said that she wasn't selling anything but when quizzed admitted that, subject to the outcome of her visit, we would be approached by another staff member who was responsible for selling the company's products. She was immediately asked to leave and did without resistance.
This is another scam, potentially very stressful for elderly, sick people. Keep very clear of them.

Arranged appointment under false…

Arranged appointment under false pretences , knew my Mum condition saying it was a kinesiologist who would like to come and see her. Having recently just attended a clinic at a local health centre, she thought this was a follow up. The person arrived & then she realised he was just a salesman spent 2 1/2 trying to sell her a bed & topper!!!! Thankfully she had the sense not to buy. Extremely poor tactics to gain entry into people’s homes. Having researched the website, maybe think about undating this & you might get sales off people who actually want your products. Fuming 😡 very misleading avoid !

I tried and ordered a new therapy pad…

I tried and ordered a new therapy pad to help with my day to day pains and stiffness from my arthritis. It's great to use when I wake up and I use it before night to help me sleep. Can definitely say it's helped.

SCAM SCAM SCAM
As other reviewers have stated, my 89 year old Mum was cold called by someone saying she’d filled in a questionnaire. They said they’d got her number from the NHS database. Made an appointment for a sales rep to come round and she was assured on the phone that no money would be involved, they were coming to help with her mobility. Luckily my sister was there when ‘Sven’ turned up - he proceeded to tell a sob story about his wife’s illness, his cancer and his two brothers early deaths. He was trying to sell a mattress topper and was asked to leave. Classic pity story to seek goodwill and an old lady’s money. Called the company up and they said they’d never say they were from the NHS - I challenged them by referring to other people’s reviews. The lady on the call then said ‘well we do deal with a lot of old people who can get confused’. You couldn’t make it up!

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company. My 88 year old mum was cold called (although they advised me today that they don't cold call anyone as she had completed some sort of survey!). Was visited at home by a sales rep who tried to sell her a massage cushion. My mum was under the impression that the person coming to visit was from a local hospital to give her exercises for arthritis. No sale as my mum advised that she would have to speak to her family. On speaking to the company I could not get a straight forward answer from a rude "manager" who put the phone down on me! Disgusting people who should be stopped scamming the elderly and vulnerable!

Appears my poor vulnerably elderly mum…

Appears my poor vulnerably elderly mum has been had by this company. £1600 for a massaging vibrating chair that is still to arrive. No sign of even selling this item on their website. Cold called and knew all about her health. Avoid.

An utter disgrace

Targeting and attending when my mother of 96 years was unaccompanied is an utter disgrace and highlights this companies low life tactics.
Unfortunately I,m unable to give no stars for this review.
Take caution as they appear to have no morals and will go for very vulnerable people.
I only hope that the representative sent has no living grandparents as I would not wish them to have a similar experience.
They sell beds how the staff manage a good nights sleep bewilders me.
Avoid at all costs, the reviews demonstrate clearly that this company should not be trading.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. Preying on the more aged people in our communities. Cold called my 80 year old parents, visited and sold them a 1900 pound mattress claiming the NHS are giving 600 pounds to reduce it to this still ridiculous price. Even asking to check with my parents that they didn’t feel pressured into buying - very smooth move. Luckily my dad called and cancelled the order.

I ordered a new chair for my mother as she really struggled to get up from her old sofa, lovely girl was very patient at going through the various types and was really helpful with any concerns I'd had and my mother is very happy with her chair only wish I'd did this sooner.

Just had a cold call from Premier UK…

Just had a cold call from Premier UK Healthcare on a withheld number. They seemed to know about my husbands arthritis, joint problems and breathing problems. A woman with a Scottish accent said they would come for 30 minutes tomorrow to give my husband free relaxation techniques that would ease his pain. I asked questions about the Company and why they would offer this.. they put the phone down. Beware

Cold calling the elderly and vulnerable.

Cold called my 90 year old dad who thought it was the health board nurse coming in to check on his legs, he let the person into his home who tried to sell him a chair etc, told the lady he didn’t sign anything unless I was there, thank goodness. He felt stupid and vulnerable that he allowed a stranger into his home. So annoyed that they are allowed to do this.

Questionable method emplyed.

Agree with the other comments; I rang to cancel the second visit (for demonstration), in part to pre-empt their call to confirm it, but found this met with resistance; when I insisted, the customer "care" person just hung up. I would have reminded her that THEY CONTACTED ME, out of the blue, on withheld number, but couldn`t find out how they got my details.

Cold called my elderly mother

Cold called my elderly mother , claimed she filled in a form, arranged to visit her in an attempt to sell her something she didn’t need. When I phoned them to make enquiries how they had found her details the person was very abrupt , rude and slammed phone down on me. AVOID!!

Customer care very poor I phoned to…

Customer care very poor I phoned to enquire about a replacement damaged on arrival bed. I asked how long this would take to resolve and was told by the manager I was only calling for a gripe she then continued to be very aggressive. The managers attitude towards a genuine enquiry was totally unacceptable.
Avoid at all costs.

Bought a product from them(paid by…

Bought a product from them(paid by debit card over phone)was asked to return product which I did hand deliver....refund refused until they had their refund from the company they purchased the item....all customer service advisors rude and unhelpful especially manager who was condescending and slammed phone down on me after calling me a time waster.....avoid purchasing from here at all cost...happy to take your money but not in a hurry to refund.
