This advertising company is a scam

This advertising company is a scam. My most recent interaction with them has been horrible. I signed a contract with them for 2 years of advertising. It cost me several thousand dollars. it is an interactive touch screen and it was to be placed at the COMPASS real estate brokerage in Montecito, California, where there’s a lot of foot traffic. There were issues in the beginning. It was supposed to be launched in May of 2025 and it did not get launched until about August of 2025 because of issues with the screen not being interactive. I visited the location where it’s at about five months ago and noticed the screen is not there and we are not even halfway through our contract. I immediately reached out with no reply until recently. They’ve informed me that they have moved my advertisement from Santa Barbara or Montecito, California, to Manhattan Beach, which is 100 miles away, and we do not service that area, making the advertising completely useless to us. Their response is, oh well, in article 13 of your agreement, it says that we can move it. When I address this with them originally, they said yes, they can move it, but that they would contact us first to get our approval. None of those steps were taken. It was moved and had I not even visited the location, no notice would’ve even been given to us. They would’ve just let the contract run out at its expiration and kept my money with no benefit to me or green clean at all .
Heed my warning. This is not a company that you want to do business with. They’re a one-and-done. They take your money, and because of clauses in their contract, they will do you dirty after they have your money. It’s a complete scam. This interactive screen that was supposed to be up for two years was only up for six months.
