Terrible, false information and missleading communication
Terrible, I'm so pissed I am even considering taking legal action.
I was intentionally given false information so I didn't know that you have the right to choose your own practitioner. I guess insurance companies are just trying to save money with these practices and Prescriba is well aware of this since they provided wrong information. We're just numbers.
I should have looked at these reviews beforehand...
After I was approved for psychological treatment by my insurance I was instructed to contact Prescriba for the next steps.
The first response I got on the phone was that insurance only covers up to 800dkk per treatment. Afterwards I was told to fill a questionnaire and clearly stated in the questionnaire that I wanted to have treatment with a specific psychologist. I then received a call where they informed me that I need to choose one of their own therapists and that my insurance doesn't cover any other therapists out of Prescriba ones. Given that information I was assigned a therapist (to whom I have no complaints at all) and had one session with her.
Since I felt like the information given wasn't correct I contacted my insurance and I realized both statements are not just wrong but absolutely false. I checked the conditions of my insurance and I can choose a specific therapist and the coverage goes up to 1200dkk per consultation.
I don't understand how they can play with people in such vulnerable positions. It's already been difficult enough for me to take the step to look for psychological help and then having to deal with this. Really, shame on you.
