A refreshing change from the usual stuff!

I have been using Presearch since it started and it's a fantastic initiative. The idea of decentralized search via nodes is a good one. I see some complaints here, but if they mention any alternatives, it's just Google, etc. That's not really a fair comparison.

Expect changes with new innovations, and this criticism is invalid since all services regularly update their systems.

The search results themselves are at least as good as any other search service.

Extremely unreliable, massively biased, results highly censored.

Extremely unreliable. Regularly fails to load, even more regularly when it does load searches come back with 'no results', if you then resubmit the exact same search it then finds results. Wtf?!

They also censor many many search terms. Try searching for Justin Trudeau's rude nickname that starts with turd.... zero results, try looking for info from people who disagree with Zionist ideology or what is happening in Gaza - nothing, hidden, 100% censored.

Compare results vs duckduckgo/bing etc and you will see what I'm talking about. For a search engine that claims to be unbiased and non censored these people are EXTREMELY dishonest and untrustworthy.

I use this instead of Google now

The new interface is pleasing on the eye and the Presearch AI is handy I rarely have to click another link I think I get it for free as I'm running nodes.

Presearch uses all the searches of all the other search engines combined but you can choose to use each search engine through the platform as well.

With around 37 nodes running, it runs seamlessly in earning me crypto and I earn crypto for searching as well as knowing my privacy is intact using DEFI searches.

I never thought I would steer away from Google but it's happened! The future is here with Presearch.

The end of this project

What a scam project...I supported it for years...probably from beginning...once I decided to withdraw something never was able to...and recently just discovered that they stole me 1500 PRE because I dint use the platform for 1 year.

Keep away from them it is such a waste of time and clearly not reliable people

Presearch The decentralized search engine for the community

Presearch is revolutionizing the use of search engines by being the first on the path to decentralization, Users can participate within the ecosystem using Pre to run nodes, keywords, etc. It is a good alternative for big technologies that also protects user privacy and does not store any search information, In general aspects, they have made many changes recently to improve the user experience in terms of use, simple interface, as well as Android, iOS apps and extensions From browsers

Pointless now with 0.01 PRE per search

Presearch is utterly pointless now with 0.01 PRE per search plus max 25 searches a day.

You will never get anywhere with such a low amount per search!

TONS have quit now due to this. Just search yourself and see.

Absolutely awful. This is the end of Presearch.

Time and Presearch

My acquaintance with Presearch happened more than 2 years ago. After registering on the site, I accumulated PRE tokens. Employees of the company changed the rules for users. Minimum tokens for 1000 output Sometimes I wanted to throw everything. And so in July 2023, I collected this 1000 PRE. It was not possible to draw a conclusion. Apart from useless letters, I received nothing. Time wasted.

This is the wonderful world of decentralization LOL

This is the world of decentralization: A Libertarian pipe dream of BS. Screw this site and Use Google or other! I'd rather have my privacy mildly violated than give a scam like this more support. ChatGPT will take care of making them irrelevant forever.
They change the rewards rules all the time. I was making 0.25 Pre when started, then 0.10 and now I make 0.01 per search. Token inflation is hilarious: Before you needed 1000 PREs to create a node, now the number is 4000 just because and going higher, while the pay goes lower. On top of that, your search shows five divs below, because the ones above are advertisement.

Works just as good as Google/Bing, but you get compensated, not them

Works just as good as Google/Bing, but rather than those companies making money from you, with Presearch you can claim back money as rewards which you can’t do with those big tech companies.

Also, it’s easier to use as a search aggregator. E.g., I have a rottentomatoes shortcut so I can easily search movie reviews in the Presearch search bar without going to the rottentomatoes website first. This aggregator works with lots of other services.

And finally, Presearch don’t track you like Google and Bing do…

Highly recommended

I have Presearch installed on every device…

I installed presearch on every device that I have and recommended it to all of my friends. Here is why.

1. I like the quality of results. Relevant , tech-oriented
2. With 10K of Pre tokens you can get results from AI and it is indeed something amazing and free
3. It is decentralized. It is stored on all these nodes that are run by people like you and me.
4. Nobody tracks you and you are not bored with ads based from your previous search queries.
5. You are getting paid for each search query that you do.

People are calling this project a scam, but it's not true. If you are using a system just to make a profit out of it to collect your 1000 pre rewards, most likely you won't get anything. So where is the scam?
High gas fees have nothing to do with Presearch. It's built on Etherium that has the highest gas prices among all other Blockchains.
They run a weekly update on YouTube. Every week there is something new. Yet you can meet the founder and ask him questions. Can you ask Warren Buffett questions?
Their community is nice and supportive.

I love the project and recommend it to everyone who is interested in technology and decentralization.

Great Web3 search engine

Great Web3 search engine. Ignore the bad reviews, of course the tokenomics are still being ironed out. Google wasn't built in a day either, and this has far more potential then that. And that's no understatement. It's literally more advanced already being next gen.

The review that said "high gas fees" - lol. Nothing to do with Presearch. If you know anything about this new decentralized financial internet, you would see this will eclipse even google in 3 years.

I was robbed. Simple as that.

I signed up as I wanted to run my own node and to become familiar with the service. I found their multi search engine interface convenient as I do hundreds of searches a day.

So about 5 months roll buy , now you can only earn so many tokens a day and I am sure my search queries were above it. I am sure that anyone looking at my aggregate data would see I am not trying to cheat a system for worthless tokens but despite all that one day I open my web browser to a form letter instead of the interface , it says I have violated there terms of service, and they have confiscated all my tokens !!! And that was that.

Now I am a sysadmin and I do use a lot of scripts and such but I cannot figure out what I did that triggered their alarm, but I can tell you I was not cheating in any way and why someone would is beyond me.

Did I email them ? yes 3 times on the last I got a support ticket. Now I have lost 5 months of collecting tokens , they will not confirm they even took them. Nevermind tell me what I did, and why are they getting false positives, and why are they acting on them with the theft of all my pre? I sent long polite letters expecting something back, and telling them unless I get an answer I have a duty to tell others.

No accountability , the ability to take all of my tokens no due process necessary, is that enough? oh yeah this project is going far.

Stagnant. Opaque. No Fiscal Report. False Advertisement.

Fiscal Blackbox: The company seems to have no incoming cashflow, no concrete roadmap for generating revenue. How long of a fiscal runway Presearch has before it goes bankrupt - no one knows. Keep that in mind as you read the next few points.

No Growth: The user growth has stagnated. Refuses to release data on Daily or Monthly Active Users. Community discussion generally is about setting up new nodes, or withdrawing tokens.

Opaque: Project information can only be obtained by contacting moderators or the CTO on Discord. Project TnC and tokenomics are modified w/o informing users. Essential keyword staking, search rewards, and node operating guides are out-of-sync with the latest guidelines.

False Advertising: Project servers are centrally dependent on Presearch's servers. Token is stored on Presearch's centralized cloud wallet instead of a personal non-custodian wallet. Project code is not open-source nor freely available. Search results are mined from Bing and Google. Token withdrawal is half-year-long audit process.

"Features are coming soon", but that's hardly convincing to investors and stakeholders. Coming from a company who's major milestone in 2022 include offering a highly publicised NFT airdrop on Solana TestNet, and a community challenge to award 1-mil in keyword advertising for crypto companies. Search Engine? Nah, Crypto.

Decentralized and sustainable search engine

It is a very exciting project although I started using it to earn some extra money, after 2 years of natural use since 2019 I managed to reach the minimum withdrawal of 1000 PRE. I managed to transfer my PRE to my savings account but just in that year they launched the nodes to start decentralization and since then I have not stopped. I kept getting involved with the project and started to invest more in nodes, then I discovered Keyword Staking and the enormous potential it has to offer very cheap web traffic. Then I managed to accumulate 1000PRE more this year to withdraw but I also decided to reinvest it in the nodes.

Presearch is a scam

I gathered tokens for years, embraced the project and even put it here at the company where I work because I could convince my boss to put it on all machines, well, presearch decided to block all my tokens won by years of research and indication. This is unfair, I emailed support and they didn't respond, it's been 1 month and I haven't heard back.

Presearch: A New Kind of Search Engine

I use Presearch daily. It’s helpful for my writing because it provides different results than other search engines. It’s where I find most of my hidden gems. I strongly suggest giving it a try.

You earn a little bit per search too, but they expect you to use it like you would any other search engine. Don’t expect to make a living off of it, but getting paid every couple years for your search is a nice bonus compared to the other search engines.

They really do things differently.

Fantastic Project

Fantastic Project

I am very interested in a search engine that does not share your personal data.

If you use it enough and build up enough coins to withdraw that is worth a few hundred dollars at the moment. If the value of PRE goes up...which it will...that is worth even more to you.

Scammer-de-Scam-Scam (Presearch.org)

Just like many other cryptocurrency earning platforms, Presearch.org seems to be a legitimate scamming firm.

And similar to the other scammers, they prey on hard working people who are honest and don't mind to put in the effort to earn currency over a long period of time.

I've decided about two years ago to try it out and I used Presearch to research many things among which the most important are cryptocurrency prices which were added to my database.

Finally after a very long time I tried to withdraw the 1,000 pre-tokens to my ethereum wallet.

It wasn't the first time that I've contacted the firm about withdrawal procedures. So the fact that Presearch expects a user to pay the transaction fees for their ERC-20 tokens was no surprise.

But personally I think that a company has to be very shameless to do so.

After I sent the support department eMails about my attempt to withdrawal, I received two automated reply eMails.

The next day I noticed that my browser gave me the following message:

"It looks like your browser has blocked search results. Please disable your adblocker/Brave shields on this page."

Ehm....
I never use the Brave addblocker for Presearch.

I did not receive any personalized feedback from the Presearch Scammer-de-Scam-Crew.

Which leads me to conclude as mentioned above, that Presearch is nothing more than a waste of time and energy.

Ofcourse, IF I ever receive feedback from them, they will defend this case with a useless argument based on their analysis that I must have been doing something that went against their Terms of Service.

Anyways,
Please do not waste your time on them.

Kind regards to you dear reader.
