Calming dog bed

I bought a calming dog bed from Presentpet and paid to track my order. I was not at all happy when I saw it was being dispatched from China as the website infers it is made in a UK based warehouse. I then read the reviews (Yes should have read before ordering!) and they weren’t good. However I have today received the bed and I am very happy with it as is my dog! I do think that PresentPet should make it much clearer where the products are made and have emailed the company to suggest this.

Goodbye sofa, woof to new bed!

Our dog loves her bed - it is so fluffy and welcoming. She is normally a professional sofa surfer in our house but now is happy in her new bed. Delivery took slightly longer than usual but given the impacts of Covid, it wasn’t anything too long. Would definitely recommend.

Faulty product, ABYSMAL AFTER SALES SERVICE.

While initially I was impressed with the harness we purchased and the supply was within a reasonable timeframe, when we had a problem with the product the company showed their true Sales over service mentality. They have all of their marketing assets in order with automated messages that use caring language to encourage sales, but they need to know that actions speak louder than words. I have been seeking a replacement harness now for nearly 2 months and it's still ongoing. The safety retainer clip does not function and as we have a Dauchshund when we pull on the lead if he's lagging behind, the clip will undo on his knee joint. It has come off completely a number of times and if you know about the breed they are easy to use and have zero road sense. Hence my dog is in danger of being lost, harmed or worse. The safety clip is meant to prevent the clip from coming undone, but it doesn't work. I have sent about a dozen emails to them, we've sent pictures and videos at their request, but keep blaming the warehouse for not responding. I explained if they can send someone a new harness from their site, they can send a replacement for mine. It's just pure reluctance to follow through with a legal obligation to provide a replacement. They have offered a refund, but we want a functioning product because aside from the fault, it's ideal. I'd describe their post sale service as ABYSMAL.

Edit: thank you for the reply. However, if you’d have offered this level of concern in the first place, then I’d have had no need to post a bad review (I’m not a malicious person) and you’d have had no need to gain a bad review nor to have to reply. Stay up company or not, your customers and repute are essential, so if you take anything from this, make it a more customer focused approach. Then your business will build I’m sure. Truth and reliability is everything.

Edit: Still waiting for my refund, they have been stringing me along telling me they'd send a replacement for over 6 months and one never arrived. They are obliged to refund me under UK law as they are a UK registered company. But they frequently blame the factory for not replying or waiting for verification etc. They are a UK online retailer using a Chinese factory for their fulfilment, and they try to pass their own problems with their supplier onto the consumer. This is entirely at odds with the law. A consumer contract for goods from a UK site is between the UK company and the consumer, NOT between the consumer and the Chinese factory that supplies them. This is criminal behaviour, stay well clear of these crooks that simply want to pass the buck.

We absolutely love our dogs new coat

We absolutely love our dogs new coat! Amazing quality and I had to email to change my order and they got right back to me.
Would highly recommend!
Mine drives within the time it said, I ha no problem with postage at all. But in the current circumstances you can expect a little delay anyway!

Do not use this company unless you are…

Do not use this company unless you are absolutely sure you want what you are buying! I bought a small dog carrier at the beginning of June and upon arrival it was too small. I contacted Present Pet for instructions to return and obtain refund. I was told to post it back to a CHINESE address and it would be at my own expense. The item cost £34 but the postage £12.34!! I included the order reference as I had no other paperwork to return it and waited for my refund. To this date - 6.11.2020 it has not arrived though I have had countless e mail replies to say it is with the "Accounts Department" This company is a joke needs to be referred to Trading Standards as they should not be trading in the UK without a UK return address for goods that are either not suitable or faulty or alternatively a pre paid returns system that makes sure customers are appropriately refunded.

Re below response - refund will fail as I have a new Debit Card to that used for purchase which is now cancelled.
Present Pet say they cant refund to the new card. Again very poor as all other retailers I use do when previous csrd is updated To new replacement. Debit cards do have expiry dates, are lost znd in this case became damaged and new replacements issued. . Had they refunded when they should there would have been no problem. So they have STILL not refunded my payment and so far think that is the end of it. Do not use this company. Appalling.

Do not order from these

I ordered a dog rucksack from this website. I had to return it to the China address that cost me a small penny. I had one email to say the new one was on its way and this was 2 months ago now and guess what there’s no reply from them. I have now reported them to trading standards and I will do my best to stop them trading in the U.K.
please do not order from them you will be very disappointed and will be throwing money away.

Complete Scammers

Would give 0 stars, worst company & worst customer service.
Ordered a backpack for my chihuahua in March it was far smaller than advertised so arranged to return, had to pay postage for China & asked to have the next size sent...... it’s November & im still waiting 8 MONTHS and nothing. They ignore your emails too so it’s pointless trying to chase it.
Horrendous do not waste your time or money

I would give it No stars ... over 2 months waiting for a dog bed . I have emailed them lots . No response . Got a email saying on the way over 1 month. You only have 30 days to return or refund . Joke Don't buy . It will teach me not to buy off Facebook .And it’s changed is name WAS 30PETS . Not buy

I ordered 3 calming beds and 4 calming blankets, they were such bad quality, I wanted to return them, and was told they needed to be sent to there quality control warehouse in China. What a joke. Took them to post office and was told it would cost £89 to send, needless to say I was not prepared to pay this. I have tried several times to contact Valentina with regard to my return (which I am prepared to return to UK address) but now communication seems to have stopped. I feel this is a drop ship business which really is all about the money. Dealing with this company has been a terrible experience and an expensive one. I did not look at the reviews before buying from them and this has been a lesson learned. From now on I will look and listen to the reviews of any business. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Aldi have better quality calming beds. You get to see them and they will accept returns if you are not happy.

Updating my review as have finally…

Updating my review as have finally (5+weeks) received pet bed. Looks nothing like picture. Very flat, very little filling. Cheap looking and definitely not worth the money or the wait. I would avoid ordering anything from this company.

Truth is, we recently switched manufacturers after receving a bunch of feedback for our calming bed. Our new ones are MUCH better, with much more filling around the rium and base, and the delivery times are now less than 10 days!

What do they say about buy cheap !
Ordered many months ago matching dog beds only to receive two months later one light grey and one taupe - I complained and kindly accepted their offer to send a matching one free of charge.
This however took much chasing and waiting to finally over two months later to receive a horrible dark grey one.
I have complained again and I imagine another two month wait now ... with chasing .... wish I had gone to a proper reputable company ...so be warned

Beware of this Company

I ordered the calming pet bed. This item comes from China do not be fooled by the London address. It took over 5 weeks to be delivered with little to no information about when it was coming. It is of poor quality, with little padding and bald patches. Definitely not worth the money.

No refund on return

WARNING! I bought a dog backpack, which arrived after a few weeks. It was not suitable for my dog so sent it back, paying the postage to China as clearly stated by the website T&Cs.

I have received no refund back, and I no longer receive any responses from the PresentPet email address.

Terrible service! I would not risk purchasing from this site again.

I ordered 2 dog beds over 4 weeks ago…

I ordered 2 dog beds over 4 weeks ago thinking I was buying from a UK website. Products are from overseas and I’m due to pay customs, if I had known this I would not of made the order. The website makes you believe you are buying products from the UK. My beds have still not arrived and they don’t give you a tracking number. Just an order number that says in transit. Very very disappointed and angry that I’ve been mislead. They now will not give me a refund as order processed. I’m so cross with myself because I try to be so careful about these things. Don’t order from this company.

Absolutely delighted, speedy delivery.

My human bought me this lovely cosy pet bed and she is getting me another one, so I can have one upstairs and downstairs. I have one problem, I have a furry friend who has taken ownership of my bed, even though she has her own! She expects me, a Chocolate Lab, to sleep in her bed and she is a West Highland White Terrier! Grrrr! Thank you human for buying a second bed for me, I hope it comes soon!! Woof, woof!!
I hope the second bed comes as quickly as the first.

Ordered a calming pet bed three weeks…

Ordered a calming pet bed three weeks ago - still not arrived . I was mislead by the advert claiming it was a UK company.
My poor dog is 16 years old and at this rate will be lucky to get to sleep in the bed - time is running out .

Don’t believe the facade

The friendly looking website and emails are just a front for direct distribution of poor product from China. Ordered a LED dog collar liking the description and pictures but a cheap and poor quality product turned up, cannot attempt to return in quick enough as it’s taken 14 days to arrive and after 30 days I cannot get a refund.. lesson in buying in nice or buying it twice. If I wanted to take my changes buying cheap directly from the manufacturer I would have. I would have appreciated the honesty in not pretending this was a company that gave a hoot (insert other, more offensive words). Hate to say it but stick to Amazon.....
