Terrible Shipping & Customer Service

BN Press was fairly easy to use to create a book for print, but trying to get the book sent to me was a nightmare. I tried to have a single book printed and sent to me as a gift for someone, and it was impossible. Somehow, B&N Press gave an incomplete address to UPS, who immediately rejected the shipping label. At which point P&N Press marked the order complete and walked away. When I reached out for help, they blamed UPS, would not confirm the information they sent to the shipper, and then demanded a new address because they could not ship to the same CORRECT address. Nevermind that B&N has sent many orders to that address, and UPS has no problem delivering to my address - B&N Press could not handle it. I don't have multiple homes here, so I had to have B&N Press send it to a neighbor. But they refused to do anything to help make the situation right - they couldn't tell me when the new order would ship, how it would ship, would not provide expediated shipping since the order was now late. Nothing. It was an absolutely terrible excuse for customer service.

Site is ridiculously dysfunctional

Site doesn’t load properly. The accepted password at sign up was longer than the log in sign in page allows. Clicking on different sections will randomly not load. It’s the worst website I have used in this field and that’s saying something.

Barnes and Noble Press made…

Barnes and Noble Press made self-publishing fairly easy, but once the book was published, getting it removed from sale is impossible. I have made repeated requests for the old version to be removed from sale so only the new version is available, but they refuse. They say there are still outstanding orders, but what does that have to do with whether it's on sale now or not? Worse, the new version has links to the old version, so customers are completely confused as to which one to order. I've even tried deleting the old one from my account, but again they say I can't because of outstanding orders. All books have been shipped!
