Scammers

Received multiple emails scaremongering businesses into obtaining a trade mark through them or else they have another company who will applying for it.
Terrible that this business has not been shut down for scamming businesses. Will be contacting trading standards about this activity.

Take a step back before responding

Aggressive introductory email on a potential trademark issue - tapping in to fear and ignorance. Similar domain to prestigemarks.co.uk and referencing that website in their email footer. Suggest if you are worried about your trademark, get an independent opinion from a business you can trust - and don't engage with them unless you enjoy being pressured into undertaking their services.

In our case instructiion we needed to action to protect our Domain name from being reallocated was even sent to a third party (consultant) with a different email address to our main one - made it even more strange and highly unusual.
