Have bought a lot of stuff from them in previous years as their prices were no different to charity shops but then prices suddenly went through the roof and I could actually get new clothes for what they are charging. I had problems previously chasing them up when I filled and submitted a £10 preloved bag but we eventually got there but at the end of last year I filled a £5 bag and sent it off and was not credited the £5 even though they were already selling the clothes I had sent them on their website ( I know this as one of my items was quite unique) I contacted them via email 3 times but got no response. My sister and I have stopped using them now as their customer service is non existent, there is clearly no point filling the preworn bags for money off. Their spam to my email is constant, they even text me sales blurb when I didnt sign up for texts which is really annoying.
In short they have gone downhill. As other people have said on here they bump up the price of items and then call a sale and reduce the price back down again to the price it should be. They are no longer good value anymore and many of the items sent last year were in very poor condition indeed, clearly where they have not been checked properly. Even their website no longer offers points on each shop etc.
Its almost as if they changed management or took on some whizz kid last year or so who decided to change the agenda to become more profit driven. I now buy my clothes from ebay as customer service is good.

I've had several good buys from Preworn - delivery is fairly quick and the used clothes have been clean. However, on three occasions I've had clothes arrive not in the condition stated - items marked as excellent have had a couple of small holes, been distorted or faded. To Preworn's credit, they have quickly sorted these problems without fuss.

I have bought many clothes from Preworn in the past that have been excellent or very good condition - but on this occasion the two pairs of jeans were not as expected - it said they were in very good condition - the black ones had dog hair over them and were screwed up - and the blue ones had a broken zip - so will be giving them to charity this time - not happy with this purchase I’m afraid - but that is the luck of the draw I suppose

I have purchased 3 bundles from here now and all have been really good. They have arrived within days of ordering each time. There are sometimes a couple of items that need a bit of stitching or a bit of stain remover but generally great. My last box was a mixed jumper box for £19.99, in this there were 2 cashmere jumpers which were resold and money made back very quickly, looking to make a good profit. very happy, will definitely be ordering more bundles from here :-)

Purchased a wholesale bundle from this company and all items were in awful condition. The description stated the items would be in good condition and suitable for resale. All items were dirty, there was even loose dirt in the boxes. One coat had the collar completely chewed away, which was so gross. All items were at the end of their life and only fit for recycling. It felt like they boxes up their rubbish and passing it off as bundles to unsuspecting buyers, instead of paying to recycle their own rubbish.

I did purchase one good box from them which was brand new hats and that was accurately described and I was very happy with that box.

I have requested to return the other boxes and preworn were helpful in arranging a return for which I appreciate. But overall, the used clothing was a waste of time & money. Would have been one star if it wasn't for the box of hats being a good buy & helpful returns process.

After receiving a reply from preworn stating who they had improved and to give them a second chance, I stupidly decided to do so.

I ordered 2x brand new hats which were okay.

I also ordered 1 box of kids new with and new without tags and well that box was a joke. It had a handful of new items in it, then the rest was filled with very well worn items, a onesie with matted material, a jumper with stains and other clothing which was bobbled.

I'm not sure who completes their quality checks on this place, but they must be doing it in the pitch black darkness as these items are so obviously not new.

I can honestly say that this is one company that I will now not ever purchase from again. Awful quality clothing, awful experience.

WARNING - If you're thinking of buying from these on their WHOLESALE website, don't waste your breath. There are better wholesalers out there. This company is blatantly mis advertising their items.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

First red flag is that when you sign up for newsletters you don’t get the discount code promised. Yet you get their spam emails fine. Then if you think you may already have an account you don’t get an email when you click reset password either. Must be scrimping on IT team.
The website itself is terrible to navigate, if you use filters and change product type you’ll see what I mean. It’s worse on phones.
Fortunately most of my order was good quality. However, the most expensive item was poor quality and badly described. It was a biker style jacket for £12. When it came it was a thin see through fabric, like cotton, nothing like a faux/leather jacket like you’d expect and definitely not worth more than £1 secondhand. I emailed them to complain, no response. Now I have to pay postage £3.50 to return even though I my order wasn’t that cheap and the item was terrible. Absolute joke - preying on low income folks and people who care about the environment.
They also get mixed reviews on how they treat their employees on Glass Door (lots of 5 and 1 star reviews) so that’s the last straw really!

I have really enjoyed shopping with Preworn and I support what they're doing. However, they've now let me down and I don't plan to buy from them again. In my most recent order, an item was vastly differently sized to the size 12 how it was described. There was no label or tag, but whoever guessed size 12 was massively out, it is at least a 16. I emailed asking for a refund, which they will give, but I'll have to pay return postage, despite it not being my fault, which will be half the cost of the item. They haven't responded at all to further emails pointing out that this is unfair. The way that their customer service advisors are not responding is very poor and lets them down.

I've been very happy with my items in the past,and im waiting for my next delivery now. I would definitely recommend this site. Good descriptions and good prices

1st and last time ordering from reworn. 2 bundle types order. Mixers winter bundle with hangers. No winter jumpers received all light weight jumpers. Mixed grade denim bundle. Not one item was sellable, every item when in the recycling bin deity stained smelly what a let down. Then realise could have sent it back. I have been reselling for over 10 years and never had a bundle of whole clothes that I couldn’t even sell one item from it.

I love the idea of wearing pre worn clothes. Good for both the environment and pocket.

I will be using Preworn again. The clothes were in good clean condition. Stocked up ready for next year.

Would definitely have given a five star rating but I ordered what I thought were shorts but they were swimming shorts. Description could have been a bit better. Plus the discount would not load but still a good price.

It is the luck of the draw with Preworn, you can sometimes find a fantastic bargain, then other times there is disappointment as the item is very dirty or badly worn. Buying second hand is riddled with problems.

The delivery service is very good as they use Royal Mail and always give you a tracking number. The best advice I can give is to scrutinise the item before purchasing and if there is any doubt, don't buy.

Preworn don't like to deal with returns as they lose money. On ebay they will just block you if you give them bad feedback.

Items missing from my order delivery and no response from customer service yet, 2 weeks later....

Very easy selection process and good prices. I have bought many clothes from this site and all have been as described. The prices are affordable to me and I've found so very good quality coats and smart outfits as well as everyday clothes. Excellent service especially as free delivery which really helps my budgeting. Thank you.

Nearly all items in the last two orders from Preworn have been very shabby and worn out, eg the neck of a shirt described as in 'Excellent'condition was completely worn through and the cuffs were tattered and worn out. A pair of mens trousers, also described as in 'Excellent' condition were quite literally filthy dirty and also had something resembling paint marks on the front. I could go on, but in short most of the clothes were in a very poor state.

I am very much in favour of recycling clothes, but I dislike being misled as to their condition.

It's not good enough Preworn, get your act together.

All in all a good site but with many issues. Pictures could be clearer if I'm a little picky but when I've viewed a garment and then choose to view another from the same manufacturer, the initial garment is displayed again. Some descriptions clearly don't match the item displayed. After completing all steps necessary to receive a 25% discount as a new user... I wasn't awarded it and paid £6.37 more than I should. No expected delivery date issued before or after purchase. Fingers crossed all is delivered safely.
