Second Complaint

This is my second complaint after not getting a refund and PriceTravel offering to help but not following through. Not only that but their response was in Spanish and I am an American. It seems like they respond that they will help to appear like they care but nothing happens. I followed through with what they needed from me to rectify the situation but I got no answer. Beware of this scam company booking anything for you.

beware do not use, use booking.com instead

I booked a hotel through this service and never received a confirmation email. Because of that, we had absolutely no way to verify whether the reservation even existed. I contacted customer support multiple times trying to resolve the issue and kept getting the runaround.

Support repeatedly claimed that their policies were explained in an email and used that as the reason they could not issue a refund. The problem is that I never received any confirmation or policy email at all. At one point, a support agent even read my email address back to me to confirm it was correct, and it was — yet there was still no email sent to me.

Without a confirmation email or booking details, customers are left completely in the dark about whether they even have a reservation. Refusing to help or issue a refund based on an email the customer never received is unacceptable.

After researching this company online, I found many other customers reporting the exact same problem — missing confirmation emails, poor communication, and difficulty getting refunds. This suggests a pattern rather than an isolated issue.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before booking through this service.

Fake reservarions

Company takes fake reservations rhat do NOT carry through with the actual hotel. Made a reservation on Disney Pop Century and called to make sure everything was clear. I was answered by Allan who said everything was correct and set, I just had to call again during normal Disney business hours to get Disney reservation so I could link it to my Disney account. The following day I call and they send me to the pricetravel Disney department. Laura picks up the phone and shares that the reservation didnt go through and they could issue a refund or try to rebook me somewhere else (this is the day kf the reservation mind you). I agree to the rebooking pay rhe difference and proceed to drive to the new hotel, pay the difference and by the time I arrived Laura tells me they can't confirm the reservation for an intermitency in their system showing improper availability. This is an unreliable company ans would suggest avoiding at all cost. Refund will take 25 to 30 business days which I can assure will have an issue to complete as well.

Sorry but worst employee ever when they call to confirm a reservation for someone, they sound so scammed and rude ,plus they don’t say thank you or have a nice day they just hang out on you.

They work half the time, maybe

I've booked twice with PriceTravel and both to same hotel, same City. The second time the hotel had no idea as the reservation was never made. I was embarrassed and had to pay twice as much due to it being the weekend. Had to stay in a one bed hotel room with it being 4 people as that was ONLY thing available in the whole CITY. I give 2 stats only because they got my first reservation right but second time was a nightmare. I wouldn't trust it. If you try to get money back it's a whole process as they're not out of the US. Good luck

If I can give 0 star, they deserve 0. I don’t know how US allow this type of company run the business in US, it’s a big scam. Never book anything from them!!!!

Lied to when I booked a room. I have my notes about what was told about the accommodations

I accidentally called PriceTravel.com to book a room at the Driskill Hotel. I thought I was speaking directly with someone at the hotel.
I booked 2 queen size beds and was told breakfast was included and when I arrived at the hotel I could show my AAA card to get a discount. When I arrived at the hotel they did have a room with ONE queen bed, breakfast was not included, and no AAA discount. The man who I spoke to LIED to me. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY and call the hotel DIRECTLY or use a WELL KNOWN TRAVEL COMPANY.

If it would be possible to give 0 star, I would. It’s a scam. Don’t book with them! I booked a hotel for six nights & didn’t receive a confirmation. The hotel had no clue of my booking. But the took the money out of my bank account without a confirmation.

Update: I send them an email already. They haven’t answered yet. It seems as if you want it to look like here, that you care! Just reply to my mail, which I already send!

Need to cancel a reservation as it was pending then gone. So booked through someone else. Then suddenly popped up. Now trying to reach them….everything is in Spanish. What the heck?

They are scammers

They are scammers. Don't fall for their "offers". We bought tickets for Disney and they never sent them. We are tey to seek legal advice to recover the money.

My hotel reservation was canceled…

My hotel reservation was canceled immediately after booking. Not by me but by PriceTravel. They did not inform me of this canceling all I knew was the reservation was being processed. When I called PriceTravel I was informed my reservation was canceled and PriceTravel did not have a full explanation why the reservation was canceled but it would take 25 to 30 days for a refund. The room was booked 7 mos. in advance. They canceled this reservation not me and are holding on to my money. I had to contact my credit card company and out in a dispute. These guys are crooks. I have called them several times and they hung up on me. I sent emails. This is illegal. I will be pressing charges. Contacting federal agencies.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. I thought i was booking through the hotel. I have fat thumbs so when i tried to click cancel it hit confirm. I spent 45minutes trying to cancel to no avail.
I have spent double, when i originally wanted to book directly with the hotel.
Be aware.
My finances are in pain due to my fat thumbs.

Scam

Ordered a hotel using their link on Google. When I purchased it ordered a TOTALLY different hotel in another state. Total scam.

Reached out to support as requested by the response, they refused the refund. Unacceptable.

Scammers

This company is a complete scammer

This company is a complete scammer.
1. For some reasons my hotel booking went to their company as the third party. I just knew that after a month, when I called the hotel to request for the confirmation of my reservation.
2. They also illegally added the protection plan to my reservations that I never needed.
4. When I call their 1-855-437-8999, the receptionist was based in Mexico. Said the she found my name but she can’t access to my reservation and transfer me to another department. The second department’s receptionist could not find my name and refused to assist me because I am not their client.!!!!
I will have to dispute their charge from my bank card. Wish me luck that I have my money back.

Scam

Scam! Overcharging for hotel rooms by 100 per room, no aarp discount. Price travel can’t find my booking without a booking number, which is nowhere on any email/text, so there for they can’t look up my account to correct. Like I never existed. What a scam!
Putting an email to contact you on these reviews is just another part of your scam. You don’t answer those either.
Charging a 33% tax rate on a hotel room is another scam!

BEWARE PriceTravel

BEWARE! This is a scam front of a company. They will show they booked your reservation but property has nothing in their system. They charge your credit card and then it is impossible to talk to a live person. DO NOT USE!

I was deceived into believing that I got the accommodations I paid for until I got to the hotel with my family. They charged me cancellation fee. turns out I had to cancel. Now they are forcing me to reschedule within 120 days which I have no time to dedicate. I had to spend money for alternate accommodations to accommodate my entire family because we travelled from far. I felt used and tricked. STAY AWAY FROM 3RD PARTY. MAKE SURE YOU ARE DEALING DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL (whatever it is). These 3rd party entities can mess you up because only they can resolve it. You are dealing with cyber space out sourcing workers.

Please do not book through them!!!

Please do not book through them! I still have not personally been contacted. When I call the # 1 855 437-8999, they tell me someone will contact me. I'm going to have to get my bank involved because I'm owed a refund and have not been refunded yet! It is extremely difficult to get in contact with someone!!! I was told it would take 3 to 4 days for the refund and it's been over 9 days!! They are quick to take your money, but they take forever to refund your money, if there are issues. I need to have a direct email or a direct return call to settle this problem. My locater/or reservation # is129898806. PLEASE SOMEONE CONTACT ME TODAY TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM!
