Finally a High Vis Yellow Kit

Finally! A cycling kit that takes visibility seriously.

As a cyclist sharing the road with increasingly distracted drivers, finding the Primal Wear Yellow Highlighter Men's Helix 2.0 Bib was a game-changer. This isn't just "yellow" — it's a true high-visibility, highlighter-level bright that makes you impossible to miss. I've never felt more confident riding in traffic.

Beyond the standout color, the fit is excellent. The Helix 2.0 bibs are comfortable, supportive, and sized just right — no complaints there at all.

I'm genuinely grateful that Primal Wear stepped up and brought a kit like this to market. Safety doesn't have to mean sacrificing style, and this proves it. If you ride anywhere near cars, do yourself a favor and grab a set. Highly recommended.

PS also available are yellow sun sleeves

I’ve tried a lot of bibs over the years…

I’ve tried a lot of bibs over the years and honestly didn’t expect these to stand out as much as they did.

Picked up a pair of primal cargo bibs a few weeks ago and they’ve pretty much become my go-to. The chamois is solid on longer rides and the fabric just feels good, not overly tight or restrictive like some others I’ve had.

The cargo pockets are actually usable. Phone stays put, easy to grab snacks, nothing bouncing around.

The fit is dialed. Snug where it should be but not suffocating. I’ve worn them on a couple 3+ hour rides and didn’t really think about them, which is kind of the point.

Ordering was easy and they shipped quick. No issues there.

Not usually someone who writes reviews but these were worth it. I’ll probably grab another pair.

Not a great experience

Not a great experience. From a construction perspective, their jerseys are fine. But if you are looking for a custom design, resign yourself to accepting what they want to do for you instead of what you want them to do for you. After a month of back and forth communication, I realized they were never going to comprehend the simplest of requests and I canceled my order.

Sizing is way off for women

Sizing is way off for women - unless you are a prepubescent girl with no hips and stick-legs. Way too small/tight. And I am just 5ft4in/115# but muscular athletic physique. I always end up ordering mens but that is a compromize at best.

Jersey designs are way too loud.

I am a long time customer of Primal…

I am a long time customer of Primal Wear. Their Evo and Evo 2.0 have been used over 10 years at my local bike shop for team clothing. I started a LOYAL following and have spent thousands at primalwear.com.

Lately someone making decisions is missing the mark as far as design and flow of the website.

1. Designs are too busy and SCREAM TEXT. I mean, I like Jens, but really subdue that stuff.

2. When trying to find something an actual adult would wear, you will have to browse pages of stuff only to find the loose fit stuff is decent. Not great, but decent. If you want adult jersey and bibs, you must buy ALITOS....but hey they reason I left CAPO, CASTELLI and PI was because Primal made GREAT quality form less. BUT now?????

3. SHOP is a TERRIBLE way for customers to feel like they are being taken care of by primal. I do not care what I bought last because most likely it was a good design and they will not have it any more.

4. Licensing AC/DC etc...is nice but again. Can we at least tone it down. Design BLACK bibs in EVO2 (yes I have stealth, but why doesn't it fit like the custom bibs from my LBS made in EVO2 by Primal???) and a jersey that doesn't look like a billboard on I-15 in Vegas??? Acid Blue???

5. I'd love to return to buy the quality for the price that the EVO 2 is, but there just isn't any incentive.

6. Even my LBS has stopped using Primal because their custom order folks have slipped up too many times.

Every time I contact support I get a snarky or un-useful response.

Is anyone at Primal Wear that runs or has a say in design beyond, "Let's look mauvelous" reading these? Are you going to meet the customer?

After my last purchase, that took WEEKS to decide on due to the ridiculous designs, I will not be returning until someone that runs, not a customer service rep, starts thinking through these comments.

Is it too much to ask a place that makes quality bibs and jerseys to make ones that do not SCREAM WORDS or look like a tie dye carnival art work? I am betting if you did, you'd be sold out on day one and not have to discount your other designs so much.

I was really excited to get my hands on…

I was really excited to get my hands on the Primal Wear Iron Maiden "The Number of the Beast" Helix 2.0 Jersey. The design is fantastic—stylish, bold, and true to the iconic Iron Maiden aesthetic. Unfortunately, while the jersey looks great, the sizing just doesn’t quite work for me.

I initially ordered a Medium, thinking it would be a good fit according to Primal Wear’s sizing chart. However, the Medium turned out to be way too tight, so I decided to exchange it for a Large. But even the Large feels a bit snug. I’m 66" tall, 170 lbs, with a 33" waist and a 41" chest, and according to their chart, I should be a Medium, but neither size feels right.

The jersey has a nice, high-quality feel, and I’m sure it would be perfect if I could get the fit right. But it seems that Primal Wear's sizing is a bit off or at least doesn’t match the typical standard. It's frustrating that the Large still doesn’t quite fit, and I’d say it runs a bit on the smaller side for each size.

I would still recommend it for the design and material but just be prepared that the sizing might not align with what you expect. If you're considering buying this jersey, it might be worth ordering one size up from what you usually wear, just to be safe.

Zero issues & fantastic for the price!

Reading the prior reviews, I wonder if things have changed within the company since I started ordering from them a few months ago. Primal Wear was recommended to me by a friend, so that was a big help to start.

My initial order had 4 jerseys and 3 pairs of socks (Mar 29), and my most recent order was for 1 jersey (Apr 22). I am about to place another order now for 6 jerseys and 1 or 2 bib shorts because they sent me an $80 off coupon with my last order!!

I am in the U.S. and I have had no need to reach out to their support, so I am unable to touch on those subjects regarding fees, taxes, or customer service. But I can say that I have not had any hidden charges. Also, their email communication is great, so I am always kept up to date with my order status.

The fit on everything I have ordered from them is excellent. DEFINITELY MAKE SURE to measure across your chest and belly to check the size guide for the jerseys. Every manufacturer has differences in their "S/M/L/XL" sizes, so DO NOT go by those alone (like, ever. Seriously.). Also, their different styles ("sport", "evo", "helix", etc) intentionally fit differently (loose to snug) as well, so do keep that in mind. The styles are very clearly marked, so it's easy to see at a glance. Again, definitely check out their fit & size guides!!

The quality is also excellent. Now, mind you, I have never owned a "high end" jersey - the most expensive one I have is a $60 Bontrager - but the quality on these have been fantastic. And with all of the crazy discounts that you can get, they are, in my humble opinion, VERY MUCH worth their prices!! The socks are also part of this quality review. I compare them to the same quality as my DaFeet socks.

Shipping to where I live (southeast Idaho) has taken 3 days each time, once they ship. The time from placing the order to the time they ship has been 7 days each time. They come nicely packaged in their own bags and shipped together in a soft plastic shipping bag.

I wish there was a way to prove that I was not incentivized to write this review and to add photos or something. But I pinky promise that I wasn't, NOR do I work for them. I just think they are super excellent and when you really really like something you really really want to share it! Hope this is helpful!!

Unexpected extra taxes imports costs

Fine socks, fine service, quick turnaround and no complaints whatsoever. But....
I ordered @ primaleurope.com so was expecting all taxes imports included in the price being in Europe as I am. Also there was no (I did not see it) pre order or general warning about taxes/imports.
But you guessed it: On a total order of € 84,45 I had to pay € 23,59 taxes/imports at delivery....thats 28% extra. So not happy at all. Seems like Primal hides it.

Worst customer service

They have the worst customer service there is! I had an issue with one of my orders and I demanded a refund. It took them two long months before confirming to me that they would START processing my refund. I was exasperated! What have they done all those time? It was the worst experience!
