Highly recommended

Incredibly efficient - immediately responded to messages, used Royal Mail to collect and return the computer. All faults with my MacBook Pro sorted out and all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

LAPTOP Repair

My laptop broke down and I googled for a quick repair and prime fix computers came up. I spoke to someone on whatsapp and spoke about the issue which was a WIFI card and the usb port burnt (Melted). Everything was pretty quick with picking up the laptop. I was charged £350 for the repairs. When the laptop came back, the charging port was okay (atleast as of the time of writing), however, the issue was with the WIFI card. The wifi card in the laptop was a WIFI 7 card. When it was replaced, someone in their office had thought it was a good idea to replace it with a WIFI 5 card which was not stable and kept dropping every now and then. I reached out after a couple of weeks to complain about this. They said they would get back at me and nobody ever did. Fortunately, I am quite tech savvy myself, I have ordered a wifi 7 card and will install it myself as it's just plug and play. Thank You

UPDATE: This company replied that if I had reached out to them, they would have addressed my WiFi concerns. I just wanted to clarify I did reach out to them via WhatsApp, which has been how we've been communicating all along on the 13/02/2026 at 3:15pm.. And up until now 17/02/2026 3:08pm. I haven't heard anything back other than the reply to this review.

Hi Dami,

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you felt you didn’t receive a follow-up from us — that’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide.

To clarify, your laptop required a motherboard-level repair, along with work carried out on the charging port and the WiFi functionality due to the reported USB port damage. The repair completed addressed the original faults that were identified at the time of service.

In some cases, replacement components are selected based on system compatibility and overall stability with the existing hardware. However, we would have been more than happy to review the WiFi concern you experienced if this had been brought back to us, as all our repairs come with support.

Please feel free to contact us directly so we can look into this further and assist you.

Kind regards,
Prime Fix Computer

We were charged £275 for a ‘repair’!

We were charged £275 but Prime Fix did not repair the computer. We had to take the computer somewhere else where they replaced the part which Prime Fix said they had put in but which did not work (wi-fi card). Since then, I have messaged and emailed Prime Fix on numerous occasions about this but they have failed to respond. I would NEVER use them again.
