Shipping needs to improve.

I like the customer service but the shipping company (FedEx) that deliver out of the US is terrible. The delivery is expected door to door, but FedEx delays the process by asking for commercial invoice when every shipment is delivered with an invoice... While the process is in Primera Technology, the experience deserves 5 stars! Excellent!

Unfortunately, once a shipment leaves our facility with the required commercial invoice and export documentation, the final clearance and delivery timelines are handled entirely by the carrier and local customs authorities. While we work closely with FedEx, those delays are regrettably outside of our direct control.

I have spent close to $10,000 with this…

Edited: I have invested nearly $10,000 with this company and currently own two Primera Eddie printers for my businesses. Their customer service is truly top-tier. When I experienced an issue with one of the printers, their team responded quickly and went above and beyond to resolve it. This level of support should give you confidence when purchasing from them, knowing they are committed to finding solutions that work for their customers.

NOT an enormous business needing labels?--STAY AWAY

Small business needing many labels? Stay away.

We have a Primera LX3000 color label printer, which is Primera's 'top of the line' color printer selling for more than $3,000. It came with the company when we bought a coffee roasting company's assets, and Primera technology is the singular worst business-critical technology company I've ever had to work with. Literally out of 200 labels printed weekly, 10 labels are usable. We've trouble-shooted, paid repair people, tried ourselves, tried many different types of label stock including Primera-only. The company's products are abhorrent for direct-to-consumer. I would do better going to Goodwill and buying four printers, and it would literally produce more labels, faster, at higher quality than Primera LX3000.

You should notice that Primera Technology doesn't allow individual product reviews. That's on purpose, because the business people who have to USE the printer categorically hate Primera.

We offered a no-charge replacement printer upgraded to our current LX4000 platform and issued an RMA to resolve this matter fully. Despite multiple follow-ups from senior technical support, we have not received any response or return of the unit.

Hi Edward,

We’ve been able to identify the printer involved and review the situation directly with our technical team. Based on the information provided, the issue has been diagnosed as a normal wear-related condition involving the feed rollers. Once feed rollers reach that point of wear, the issue cannot be corrected through adjustment or remote troubleshooting and requires factory service.

Despite the printer being acquired second-hand and out of warranty, we engaged senior technical support and offered multiple good-faith paths forward, including no-charge factory service and expedited options to help minimize downtime. Those options remain available.

All next steps can be coordinated directly through our technical support team via the existing support ticket so the matter can be handled efficiently and professionally.

Bravo blu disc publisher refurbished…

Bravo blu disc publisher refurbished paid $2,499 + tx = almost $2,800 .
Screw me over , never ship cause I did not buy new $3,999.
That's high price overcharge for obsolete disc that people don't really buy anymore. Why keep advertising refurbished that you are not going to sell . Worst company horrible no customer service

Dear Spirit Quality Sale,

This is Mark Strobel, Vice President of Sales at Primera. I’d like to clarify what’s going on, as this appears to be a simple misunderstanding driven by our commitment to being open and transparent with our customers.

The refurbished Bravo Blu Disc Publisher you ordered is available. What is currently in very short supply worldwide are new, reliable half-height BD-R drives. All major optical drive manufacturers have discontinued new production, which has made sourcing dependable drives extremely difficult. Optical media itself is still very much alive and in use, and we continue to support it.

Even on refurbished systems, we are very cognizant that the optical drive itself must be brand new. This is critical to long-term reliability and is what our customers rightly expect, even though it costs us more to provide. We will not ship a disc publisher with a questionable or used drive simply to rush an order out the door. That would not serve you well.

We are actively searching globally for additional new drives so we can ship complete systems that meet our reliability standards. Just today, I secured another 100 brand-new drives that will be allocated to both new and refurbished systems and are expected to arrive in approximately two weeks.

If you would prefer to cancel your order given these circumstances, we completely understand and will take care of that promptly. If you choose to wait, please know that we are doing everything possible to provide you with the best refurbished unit we can and to fulfill your order properly and honestly.

Since I have not yet had the opportunity to communicate with you directly, I respectfully ask that you consider removing this review for now so we can speak with you and provide an accurate update on your order status. We believe that once we’ve had a chance to connect, the situation will be much clearer.
