Pro-Venture sorted several climbing sessions for my 15 year old, at pretty short notice. He had a great time at Horseshoe Quarry and Harborough Rocks with Charlie and Sam. They were great and my son learnt to 'Sport Lead' so has reached the next stage!

Today I went climbing to Stanage Edge with James as my guide. It's been my first experience with climbing outdoors and I’ve loved it. I’m fairly new to climbing and have only used my local indoor wall up until now so I was a bit nervous to start off with but James was great, he explained everything really well and made sure I was comfortable with everything before starting. I felt like I was in great hands throughout and have very much enjoyed my introduction to trad climbing. I’ve had a fantastic day and would definitely repeat. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I’ve known and worked with the team from Pro-Venture since 2008. Since then, and with their help, I have come from being a novice activities instructor, to a fully qualified, registered and (dare I say) respected practitioner in the outdoor industry in England’s first National Park, the Peak District, and further afield.
I have participated in a range of training courses with Pro-Venture (mainly caving, hill-navigation and leadership) and benefited from their many years of experience ranging from personal expeditions, to managing group events, to providing bespoke skills courses.
To me, Pro-Venture is a group of genuine outdoor professionals specialised in the facilitation of tailored high-end services to anybody with an interest in adventurous activities. Whether they have decades of experience behind them or whether they are just starting to get “into the outside”.

We spent five days in northern Spain exploring various cave venues. The whole trip was organised by pro-ventures friendly fully qualified cave experts.
We also had a home from home in a local bunkhouse as Darryl welcomed other like-minded activity enthusiasts onto the trip.
It was a truly memorable experience that is still talked about today!
