Unfriendly agency

I recently had an opportunity for work in Didcot through Proactive Personnel, who when I contacted them regarding the job their reaction was not to be understanding of my situation and where I was last week in poor signal area for work through another employment agency. The kind of reaction I got was unfriendly and unprofessional as well as disconscerting and upsetting.
As a consequence of their reaction I have pulled away from this agency and will not recommend them to friends or people I know are looking for work.

Signed Us Up without our Knowledge

Be aware - we got completely scammed by this lot of crooks. Trouble was we didn't realise. We only realised when we got a package and tried to stop it. Its taken months to get this stopped and I have no confidence of getting any of the money back.

Just such a sad episode and we have learnt some expensive lessons.....

Please avoid these people or your wallet will suffer

Terrible company

Terrible company, subscribe you without your knowledge and then lie about refunding you. Customer service appalling, spoke to bank who advised the only way to stop them taking money was to change account details. Took 3 months of phone calls back and forth to the bank and proactiv, was eventually refunded from proactiv minus £5 which the bank ended up giving me back as a goodwill gesture. Only got my money back because I would not let them get away with it and asked to speak to management every time. Also products didn’t even work. I don’t know how they can advertise on t.v when they are basically scammers.

I thought it was just me

I thought it was just me! Clearly not!
This lot really do not deserve one star. As far as I am concerned a bunch of mis-leading crooks

I thought it was just me, then I looked here and can clearly see it was not. I didn't sign up for any membership and just purchased an initial bundle of products. This type of company really does need something to be done about deliberately being unclear to make money.

Crooks! I hope people read these trust pilot reviews and do not but anything from this organisation or even their partners who sell it. To all the people who work for this organisation, I hope you sleep at night.

Money refunded.

I contacted Proactive to let them know that i was very unhappy that they had taken money from my account. They tried to say i signed up to Mc a plan but this was not true- it was a Christmas present for a friend so why would i join a plan. I found out that a parcel had been left outside my house , this must have been stolen if it was just
left. Anyway the end result is that they returned my money. I was more annoyed at this underhand way of getting customers to take products, i wonder how many people just pay up as they cannot be bothered to fight. I am glad i found the strength to fight back.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Placed a couple of orders with them but purposely did not buy any of their packages as I didn’t want to be tied in to a subscription. Well guess what they did - exactly that!

Started sending me products and charging me without my permission. I called the first time it happened, returned the products and got a full refund and was told the subscription had been stopped.

1 month later they do the same again - this time I called before the products reached me so they issued a refund, but only for the products not the postage and packing. 3 weeks later and 4 phone calls and tweets, still nothing - waiting for my money back and I fear exactly the same thing will happen next month.

I have contacted watchdog and advised they look into this company. Also contacted my bank who have said they only way to stop them is to change my bank card which is obviously very inconvenient.

My advice is steer well clear, absolutely awful company!!!

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. They hide from you the fact that it's a subscription deal when you purchase your first box, send you product you don't ask for a month later, then don't refund you. An absolute scam - don't fall for it!

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM

I only paid for a trial £18 for the 3 step, the next month I receive 3 x huge bottles and a £24.99 charge from my debit card. I did not sign up for this and to try and cancel has been a complete nightmare. I could not get through to CS so contacted my bank and cancelled any further payments with them. They always seem to have technical difficulties and will promise to call back but never do. I have just found out they have tried to take another £24.99. I did call up the very first time in Feb to cancel with the agent who tried to offer me a reduced price and I stated absolutely not. Do not buy from these people the cream did not work after the trial and they should not be auto ordering without your consent. Biggest scam going. They do not deserve even one star on here. if you do have skin problems go to your GP , my son's skin is cleared now NO THANKS TO PROACTIVE

Zero interest in customers

Well here I am writing another review for Proactiv. My advice just do not deal with them. IF they answer the phone they take your number and never call you back. They ignore most e-mails. They take your money but never get any goods to you which matters not one jot to them. Worst company I have ever dealt with

Not for me!

I really tried to preserve with Proactiv as naively I believed the celebrity reviews maybe meant it was successful, however I can now see that is not the case .
I have been using Proactiv for over a month and for a couple of days after about 3 weeks in , I did think I had started to see improvement in my skin. I can now say that it only made my skin worse , worse than it has ever been in fact!
I have come out in large red spots which just do not seem to go away , I've even noticed I've had breakouts in areas which have never been a problem before!
Then to top it all off , today after I decided to not continue with the products , I realised they had taken a further £29.00 from my bank account .
When I called the customer care team , the advisor said it is mentioned precisely three times on their website - leading me to think they recieve shocked calls like mine quite frequently.
I was told another 30 day supply was on it's way to me , and if I didnt cancel my subscription then another 29 pounds would be take up until the 3rd of July! I was quite shocked as I hadn't read this anywhere , maybe it was due to my lack of small print reading that had missed this clause , because I definitely wouldn't purchase any skin care products for that amount of time when I am not sure if it will improve my skin or not!
So I was then asked if I would like to order a further 90 days from the third of July, which I declined even when I was offered discount , when asked why I told the lady that the product didn't work for me . She said the normal ' oh yes the skin always gets worse before it gets better' which I can agree with , but this product improved my skin and then worsened it again!
I would not reccomend this product to anyone who has sensitive/breakout prone skin as it really just makes it worse , I think they only tell you it gets better eventually , so they get more and more sales!
And watch out for their roll over clause , because I completely missed it!!!!!!

Don’t waste your time or money

Don’t waste your time or money - the product doesn’t work as advertised and the customer service is shocking!!! They put me on a plan I didn’t ask for, they have taken money out of my account without permission, I’ve had to apply for a copy of the phonecall to prove he said he had cancelled it!! Disgusting service, they speak to you like absolute rubbish on the phone. I will never use again. I’m only giving a 1 star because there is no option for zero!

Not transparent at all - even when confirmed via phone the order is only for 3 months and not more, they keep sending orders and taking the money from the account. WITHOUT ANY WARNING (for example email etc)

Terrible products and contacting the company!

Terrible products and customer service contact! They signed me up automatically on a plan and then I had to call and stay on hold for over 75 minutes before I spoke to a customer service rep to cancel the plan and to send my items back!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered my first kit, really liked the product, so after about 3 weeks I ordered another one at a discounted price as they had a ‘sale’ on. Received two kits around the same time, apparently my first order of the ‘30 day’ kit, was actually an order for a ‘30 day’ kit to arrive over the next three months! And they charged full price! Customer services are useless, can’t get any sense out of them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! I’m £60 down now and will not be buying from them again
