Terrible. We have this in our "Cyber Security" course, how in the hell is this even "Secure" when I have to give this access to everything under the sun and more. It's like god giving someone cancer twice then smiting him with the most diabolical lightning bolt ever introduced on to this planet. If I were a professor, I would NOT recommend this to you as you WILL get a 1 star rating on ratemyprofessor. Not from me, from most.

This needs to be banned. The worst thing college has brought in. My college classes were chill i was on grade, on time, etc. then this bs comes in and i have to get an extension, cant even download it etc. and now im failing 2 classes becasue i cant even use a new or old computer. colleges seriously need to consider back to original testing. 0 stars if i could. Dont need customer service to feel pitty for me at all. This new tech is absolute HS. Spyware 1982 aswell, data , camera, no privacy what not. This needs to end for good. People are gonna have a tough life during college becasue of this.

We've been using Proctorio for years now. For the most part Proctorio is user friendly if the individual is tech savvy. We've had to create videos for students to guide them on how to install the extension. Only negative feedback is not having a phone number to reach support. Whether it's from us the admin or for the student. The chat is nice but most of the time it's nice to reach someone asap.

Proctorio is an excellent exam service. I can take test from any location, even a wrestling tournament before my son’s matches, or in between. Only a laptop & headphones (my preference when on the go) are required.

We have been using Proctorio for many years at my school. It has served us well. Support has been good most of the time as well. It helps us protect academic integrity.

The full scope of monitoring is never explained or elaborated. Professors or teachers who use this are just plain old lazy, if you want to challenge your students on course material write your own questions which comprehensively covers the tested areas. Instead of y'know ripping the questions from a bank at the end of a textbook.

I recently took my first test from Proctorio. My other classes didn't use it for testing. It was very difficult to put on my computer, so I opened a chat with someone from Proctorio which was a total waste of time. He directed me to another website that didn't answer my question. He just told me that I should keep looking. After asking other students or anyone I could find, I still wasn't able to use it. Finally, after 2.5 hours I decided to contact tech support at my college, and he was able to help me in a matter of minutes. During the test I was under more stress than normal of having someone watching me that I didn't do very well on the test. I think it's a total invasion of privacy. I would rather go to the testing center at the college. Having Proctorio as an extention on my browser caused my school lessons on my computer to glitch or close. After I removed it there wasn't a problem. After contacting the school they are now allowing the students to use Proctorio or go to the testing lab.

Easy to install - clear directions are given. I agree with using this because it lets courses to be taken from anywhere instead of needing to report to a physical location to take a test. The convenience is amazing.

We have used Proctorio as long as they have been in business. We have watched them grow while listening to the ever changing educational environment.

We use Proctorio to monitor our online exams. It would be impossible to operate a fully online institution while maintaining academic integrity without this service. Even though things don't always run flawlessly, Proctorio is committed to great customer service and we've developed a great working relationship over the last six years.
