Ordered three delphiniums. Three big plants arrived. Fantastic condition. Expect flowers this year. Good value for money.

I am extremely disappointed with Proctors Nursery.
I purchased 3 skimmer japonica finchy plants from Proctors nursery at the end of March 2025. Days previously I purchased several identical plants from a local nursery but found i needed 3 more which I could not source locally and so bought them online from Proctors.
All plants co-habited in the same bed. Whilst the locally sourced plants continue to thrive the 3 plants from Proctors have died and I expressed disappointment and sent pictures to Proctors.
The leaves of the plants were very yellow and the root system was crumbly and very small on examination. I did repot them in the hope that they might recover. I am an experienced gardeners and kept them well watered in the drought.
Proctors accepted the plants were of an unacceptable quality and refunded the cost of the plants. What they refuse to do is refund the postage which although just £7.95. As a matter of principle I cannot fathom why they insist on charging me postage for worthless product? I will not be using this nursery again and warn others.

Excellent website for browsing. Good prices and slick delivery two days after ordering. Good quality plants and great delivery service from DPD. Highly recommended company.

My plants arrived completely scattered within the box.
I retrieved them from underneath the compost and repotted. In my judgement, from a lifetime of gardening, the plants are of poor quality . I found the response to my complaint, casual and unhelpful.

I was looking for particular plants to add to my garden this November. Based on high rating plus they are more or less local I’ve decided to order from this nursery.
The plants were carefully packed, they are healthy with good established roots, and notes were added. Been sent via Royal Mail and reached me in two days.
Ordered on 10/11, sent 11/11, received 13/11

Also they gave me an extra plant as a Christmas present! Wow! Totally unexpected so thanks a lot!
Would order from them again.

I wasn't asked to provide a Trustpilot rating but I felt motivated to leave a review somewhere because I was so impressed. Plants were very competitively priced compared to other online nurseries, particularly taking into account their size. I was also taken aback by the speed of delivery, as less than 48 hours elapsed between me placing the order and the plants arriving at my door (possibly it may well take longer during 'peak' months; nonetheless I thought this was very impressive). It also feels nice to support a smaller nursery rather than one of the more obvious 'names'.

I have met the Proctors Nursery team at the N.E.C - BBC Gardeners World Live Fair 13- 16 June 2024 and I cannot recommend them enough.

They are a team of dedicated professionals that love what they do and they go above and beyond for the customer satisfaction.
I have so many absolutely beautiful plants ( the team will remember me as number 10 :) because this is the number that I had on all of the reserved plants that I bought).

They offer a display of a perfect combination between the absolute beauty of the plants that they carefully grow and the multitude of colours, lovely textures and smells that make you feel that you are in paradise.

They have been absolute stars helping me every time even if they are approached by hundreds of people. I am very grateful for all the time and the help to get the plants safely to car without damaging them ( I recently removed a 6 1/2 weeks plaster on my right arm that was absolutely shatered and have reduced mobility for it).

Also, another important aspect is that comparing to other nurseries that were present at the fair, their prices were very affordable. I will definitely visit them soon in Stoke.

Thank you all very, very much for all your work and for the joy you brought into my life by having such an amazing range of plants that will make my garden look amazing!

Absolutely fantastic and so pleased :0) The thought that had gone into the packaging and this showed in their duty of care to their customer, in the focus to the packaging and for each plant in its transit and how the state they would therefore arrive in. So impressed by the quality of plants, Geum & Dahlia. First class standards compared to other nurseries I have tried online and their packaging and their quality was not as high as yours. I will definitely reorder from you again. Well done to your team. You have gained a future repeat customer.

Very nice plant arrived 'Veronica Lightsabre' well packaged and will clearly flower well this year.

I've made a few different orders from Proctors and they consistently send absolutely perfect plants that are packaged fantastically. On once occasion the courier lost my parcel and Proctors sent out a new one almost immediately. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Most impressed with the excellent packaging and support for three phlox plants ordered on line. Plants look pretty good too.
