Ordered my light switch no confirmation …

Ordered my light switch no confirmation received. Called the company to find out about the order and was told I would have it within 3 days . When it didn't arrive had to call again to be told they hadn't received it. Stunning that I have still not received any emails at all except the one asking for this review. Poor customer service and I don't use them again

We have had a delay in receiving the item across from our manufacturer's stock warehouse which has meant you will not have received your invoice or shipping confirmation communication as yet. Our main buyer has advised your goods should be with us tomorrow for delivery to yourself on Wednesday or Thursday via 24 hour Parcelforce courier service, this will all be confirmed via email when the goods are with our courier. Poor Customer Service.…

On 18th October I ordered and paid for a Samosa Maker by PayPal from Product box. I then received an e-mail to say there had been a mistake with stock levels and they didn’t have the product. I was told if I still wanted it, it would be available from mid-November and they would keep me informed.
The PayPal payment was showing as pending.
As I hadn’t heard by the 14th of November, I contacted them on LiveChat and told it was available.
I them contacted Customer Service by e-mail to see when to expect it, only to be told that LiveChat were wrong and it was not yet available.
Received an e-mail on 24th to say it would be in the following week and as soon as they had a delivery date they would contact me.
On the 30th I received an email and answerphone messages to contact them urgently by phone as there was a problem with payment. As I was out of the country in India, I asked my wife to call them and see what the problem was. The problem was that the pending payment was cancelled by PayPal as it was more than 30days. The company should have known this.
My concern is that my wife felt pressurized to pay for my order by card as they kept saying it had been dispatched and delivery accepted(it had been left with a neighbour).
I would have been happy to pay for my order but would have preferred to have paid by PayPal so as to be covered by their guarantees.
Overall, I feel I have had poor customer service because of lack of communication, broken availability promises and not been offered my preferred payment method.

It was myself that spoke to your wife and at no time did I intend to make her feel pressurized to pay, we can send Paypal invoices and this could have been arranged had I known your wife felt this way.

Mugged me off.

Sent me an email saying the product had been shipped, on the day of arrival I get an email saying the product in stock was damaged? Why did I have an email saying it had been shipped if it hadn't? Why did they take my money in the first place if the product was damaged. I'd already payed in advance for someone to fit the product the day after delivery, but obviously there was no product to be fitted so now I'm out of pocket.
I've had a bad experience with this company and I would never recommend them

We processed your payment and shipped the order on our system as we had received confirmation, as stated previously, that stock was available for your order from our manufacturer's. We were then advised on Friday that these were found to be damaged when they were attempted to be picked, we sincerely apologise that based on this, we could not advise you sooner. We processed and shipped the product on our system as the stock was available at that stage.

We have cancelled your order for a full and immediate refund as the two week delay for replenishment was too long for yourself.

Excellent communication.

Ordered a product which turned out to be out of stock, was notified and informed I could cancel if unable to wait. Cancelled order, asked for refund, informed card was not charged as item out of stock, lovely communication so feel I can trust this company due to its transparency.

Took a week to deliver the wrong product then another week to exchange it, by which time I was on holiday. Totally unacceptable

As discussed, we apologise for this picking error, it is very rare that anything is sent incorrectly from our appliance warehouse and measures have been taken so that there are no future customers affected. Delivery was within 3 to 5 working days as you mentioned, as discussed on the phone we physically could not deliver the replacement correct item any faster due to the size and weight of the product, I completely understand your frustration as this coincided with you going away. This is why the £40 goodwill gesture refund was offered for you to keep the incorrectly delivered model (as confirmed, this is a more expensive model although not the product ordered) which I processed immediately for you after our conversation.

Delivery charge to N. Ireland

I had ordered an oven hob without difficulty but I was informed promptly by e-mail that there would b an extra charge for delivery to n. Ireland. Because of this I had to cancel my order which was a shame.

Excellent service

I recently ordered a microwave but was informed immediately that particular model would not be available for a month and they suggested an alternative. It was delivered eariier than was expected which was good. I would definetely use this company again.
