WOW!!

UPDATE:
Only after being forced to throw a fit and write a review did the company send the replacement.
I’m upgrading to 3 stars. They did fix the treadmill but should have done so without causing the frustration and having me question the purchase of the warranty. I love my treadmill and use it daily. Great product. Just wished they’d followed through on the customer service without causing so much friction.

WOW!!! Complete trash. Proform 9000 Treadmill. Walking board splits in half. I paid for the extra warranty. They sent me the replacement parts and in the box the new board is broken in half... Now all the sudden they cant help me and i have to go through a bunch of other channels now. REALLY????

Ifit now switched off

I’ve an otherwise perfectly serviceable Proform treadmill and just been informed my machine is no longer supported. Ifit will no longer work with my machine - no advance warning! They offered to sell me a new treadmill at a 20% discount. Scrap my treadmill and buy a new one due to ‘software issues’. I don’t think so…..

Do not Purchase Proform Products

I purchased a Proform Studio Bike June 2023. The item was delivered damaged and unable to be used. I spoke to customer service 4 times regarding parts and service. They refused to send a replacement. I am currently waiting til September 7,2023 for a second repair on a brand New purchase. I have never got to use. It will be 3 months from purchase date til I may have a working product. I am beyond frustrated and upset with this product/ company.

Purchased the Pro-Form Hybrid Trainer

Purchased the Pro-Form Hybrid Trainer. 2 Parts were either broken or the holes for screws did not line up. I received replacements. 1 replacement had missing parts, so needed to reorder it.
I wanted to send the whole thing back as I have spent a few hours now trying to resolve assembly issues. I keep getting passed around to different Departments.
I was told that I would have to pay $250 to send the machine back. I have not done that yet. Instead I paid to get someone to come out and assemble it (regretting that now).
I have been waiting 2 weeks for the assembly person to show up. When you call for an appointment you only get voice mail and no one returns your call.
Recommend you purchase thru Amazon and maybe try a different company.

Proform Rower 440R

I purchase a rower proform 220R 8 months ago and the bungee cord popped. I called and the part itself is over $200. I purchased this rower for $250. Ridiculous amount for this part. Seems like they just want you to purchase another one. No thank you. Disappointed in Texas.

Horrible Customer Service!!

I purchased an elliptical - Carbon EL
Model Number PFEL55920.3 - less than two years ago, so of course my warranty has expired. The console stopped working, I opened it up and a battery looking part on the electrical panel had broken open, sticky yellow stuff all over the panel. I tried to call customer service and they said there wasn’t anything they could do besides offer me a whole 3% off a new console. Which would be $225. The multiple service representatives I spoke with clearly didn’t care or apologize that their product had stopped functioning. Regardless of a warranty or not, if I’m paying hundreds of dollars for equipment, it should last. Take some responsibility for your products please!!!

I purchased a new ProForm Pro 9000…

I purchased a new ProForm Pro 9000 directly from ProForm -I like the unit but the belt is slipping and the machine is making an awful noise. The customer service is terrible. They are asking me to diagnose the machine and informed me it will be $159 for a service call.....on a brand new machine. I have been emailing back and forth since the machine arrived. When asking for a return they informed me it will be $250 plus 10% - do not buy from this company.

Poor quality. Poor management. Poor service.

Edit: This edit is after ProForm's response. They give the reason that there are global manufacturing and shipping delays. However, I still give a 1-star review as the machine should have been of the quality to not need a new console after only 6 months of use. In addition, the backorder on the console and the fact that they ran out of this part indicates a major issue with the original consoles on the ellipticals. Hence a 1-star review still applies as there is obviously a quality issue.

Steer clear of ellipticals by ProForm. I received my ProForm elliptical (Model PFEL99521) on December 1, 2022. It worked great for 6 months and then the console short circuited and fried itself. After going round and round with the warranty department, a new console was ordered on May 1, 2023. After checking on the order status and getting a couple different stories, I am now told that the estimated ship date is not until July 28. So I had the product for 6 months before it broke and now have to wait 3 months to even get it fixed. The last excuse I told was that they got some consoles in but then they ran out. This implies there were major issues with the original consoles. Poor quality. Poor management. Poor service.

I bought a Proform Hiit h14 on…

I bought a Proform Hiit h14 on 4-9-2023. It was delivered on 5-9-2023.. broken. Possible reed switch, plus missing one arm bolt. I called customer service, not helpful. Said I could still use the machine without the reed switch. Last time I checked, you needed to use the arms for a full workout, kinda hard when your missing bolts so the arm is hanging due to missing bolt. Fought them to have a tech come to the house, finally agreed and a tech was scheduled for 5-29-23. Then proform called to tell me they couldn’t come repair on the 29th and they could come the 29th of June. Ow having spent nearly $1800, can’t use, and frustrated, I asked for a refund.
They refused to give me a full refund, because I didn’t give them time to fix it and an admin fee. This came to $435. What a joke!
Proform has made me this out to be MY problem for THEM sending ME a broken machine. It’s ME who has to wait for THEM to fix, all the while I paid a lot of $ for a working machine and didn’t get that. I paid in full too. I will NEVER buy another proform again especially from proform.com.

If I could I would give this company zero
This was probably one of the worst customer experiences I've had. I bought the treadmill in November 2022 and when it was delivered it made a terrible noise. It took this useless company 6 months and three visits to finally work out that the machine has been welded wrongly in the factory. They didn't have a replacement so the only thing they could offer was to refund, but only if I deconstruct the machine my self and make it as easy as possible for them to pick up.
No compensation, apology or even offer to take it down. 8 months, never worked, and possibly the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Trustpilot has replied to this review. This is purely a marketing response, I checked with the company's customer service and was told they knew nothing about this and nothing had changed. So ignore the response and avoid

ProForm does not honor thier warranty

I purchased a ProForm treadmill and also an extended warranty 2 years ago. I was satisfied with the product until six months ago when it started to make very loud noises. I contacted ProForm and iConfitness.com to inform them of the problem and that I needed service on the treadmill. We have traded emails for the past 5 months with no resolution. They now want me to take the treadmill apart and try to fix it myself. What was the warranty for if not to resolve these problems.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Treadmill was bought in February. It stopped working in three weeks. I called and they tried referring me to Duham's. Duham's said it is up to Proform whether to repair or replace. They finally said they would repair but the parts were back ordered for eight weeks. So I bought a treadmill that broke in a month and cannot get it fixed for another three. I called there and no one can ever find my email in their system, they transfer around and pass the buck and are not accountable. I have MS and need to walk every day. Thanks for your absolutely horrible service. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE!!

I bought a Proform elliptical in March 2023. AWFUL EXPERIENCE

I bought a Proform elliptical in March 2023. The elliptical was installed by Proform installers which I paid $200 so that I would have peace of mind it was done right. From day one it started making noises. The noise is so loud that it distracts from working out. It is so awful that I have stopped using it. I am really disappointed with this machine.
Another issue is Proform customer service and warranty. They want to talk you through troubleshooting the problem by removing panels, recording the noise, and videotaping the flywheel while using it…not easy!!! After going round and round with them they want to send you replacement parts. Why does a brand-new machine need parts replaced?!! They shipped the parts to the wrong address the first time, I had to wait another week for the parts to be reshipped. Once you receive the parts you have to contact a technician to schedule the installation of the parts. The soonest a technician can come is 2 weeks. My first bill is now due for a machine I can’t use. VERY UNHAPPY TO SAY THE LEAST!

Poor quality equipment and rip off practices

Used the machine for a total of 25 hours and because the warranty had expired within 40 days there is nothing they can do to help. Major components of the machine are broken and there is nothing they can do. After wasting hours on the phone and several requests for service unanswered. DO NOT BUY any Proform equipment as they don't stand behind the quality of their equipment. iFIT is also a rip off because you cannot use the machine without the subscription. The worst equipment I have ever purchased in my life. Inability to resolve issues like this and refund the annual subscription of the IFit adding to the bad customer service experience I have ever received in my life. DO NOT BUY this junk!!!

Ifit/Proform Poor Customer Service

I contacted Ifit/Proform on November 18, 2022 in regards to my treadmill turning on, but not working. They said the treadmill was out of warranty and they would have to send a technician out to diagnose the treadmill. Once the treadmill was diagnosed they would send a technician out to replace the defective part. I explained if the cost would be too much I would just purchase a new treadmill. I paid for the diagnosis and the Ifit/Proform stated the computer board needed to be replaced. I asked the Ifit/Proform rep if it was another part what other cost would I incur. The Ifit/Proform stated I would only have to pay for the part since I initially paid for the diagnosis and the cost of the technician to come out. I paid the initial fee and waited for my part to arrive. The part finally arrived on January 4, 2023. The technician came out only to tell me Ifit/Proform shipped the wrong part. I then conacted Ifit/Proform and waited another month until the part arrived on February 7, 2023 only to be told by the technician the part did not fix the treadmill. The technician said the motor was the issue and needed to be replaced. I then waited another month until March 8, 2023 for the motor to arrive. At this time the treadmill repair company told me they no longer had a technician in the area and I would have to contact Ifit/Proform. I contacted Ifit/Proform only to be told that I would be charged another service to repair my treadmill. I explained to them I had already paid the service charge and at this point had now waited 6 months to get my treadmill repaired and if the technician from the company I already paid was in the area I wouldn't have to pay anything. The representative continued to repeat they would not send out a technician without another service charge. At this point I'm just disappointed in the terrible customer service I received from Ifit/Proform. I had a great treadmill, but will never purchase another treadmill from Ifit/Proform.Poor Service!

Purchased an elliptical Carbon E10 with…

Purchased an elliptical Carbon E10 with IFIT a week and a half ago. Put the machine together no problem, turn it on seems ok, but then upon trying to use the console it continuously gives an error, shuts down, try’s unsuccessfully to update software. Call Proform Monday and spend 1 hour 45 minutes with their help on video chat only to be put on hold after an hour. Thinking to myself great, they will replace the obviously broken console. Nope I get hung up on, no return call, no text no contact at all. I call again from work, thinking they will continue where they left off, nope new agent wants to start a new video call and go through the whole thing again. I question this asking if she cannot just look at the notes from the last person and she hangs up on me. Again no contact. As I am extremely busy at work I think great I’ll call Saturday, literature says open Saturday, I call and nope not open Saturday. At this point I really just want either some help for an expensive piece of
Equipment that should have worked out of the box, some actual customer service would be nice, or they can pick it up and give me a full refund.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. My treadmill is under warranty and started making noise/running slower than normal one day so I called to request a repair. They said "okay sounds like this is the issue we'll send you the parts and when you get them all call to schedule an appt for a tech to come" WELL 2 of the parts have arrived and I'm still waiting on the last part that is "backordered" for over a month! Keep checking in on it and they keep making up dates that it's going to ship. Customer service is useless. They say they are doing "all they can" when they are really doing nothing.
