On August 4, 2022 I purchased the Proform Pro 9000 costing $1700 plus the extended warranty for almost $500. Unfortunately, this machine has not worked since day 1. My son who is very good with computers and equipment set it up and has tried everything he could to get it working, including buying a extra Wifi booster and a new surge protector. He tried all the trouble shooting in the book and online, but nothing helped. So I called ProFit and unfortunately we missed the 30 day window for returns. When I asked for a tech to be sent to the house, I was told it would cost an additional $159. They told me to check the fine print on the warranty and that they would have to diagnose the problem via phone first in order to forgo the charge. So after 3 phone calls, talking to multiple support people (who by the way were very nice and helpful but couldn't fix the problem) and 5 hours of waiting on the phone, I am left with "It is a part malfunction and we will mail you the part with instructions on how to fix the machine. We'll send you a U-tube link". So my friends, that is what they call warranty service...expecting a 68 year woman to fix her own machine...even if it never worked. Keeping it real. Don't buy from this company!!! Please Save your money!!! In all my years...this is my biggest buyer's regret.

tablet stopped working (unable to reset Etc. with support, so they issued a replacement that would be on the way “soon”)
We waited no called back 2 weeks later, we were told then that the part was on back order but we will get it”within the next week upon arrival to be the first on the next list and we’ll get shipping upgrade” (I am not mentioning the long wait and transfers each being 40 mins plus for every call!).
Tho there’s three weeks later, we called wondering what was going on…well our part will be “build” and generally replacement take 5 weeks. Shame on us. Oh well. I guess other agents aren’t aware…
6 calls and 3+MONTHS, many lies and false expectations Plus 1 ESCALATION later we RECEIVED THE WRONG CONSOLE PART!!
The 2k equipment is a paperweight! Any fineness equipment from other manufacturers held up better and longer. The customer service is a nightmare and now we have to go through it all again, having to explain what was messed up (wires and plugs don’t match up, wrong cable boards on the board as there is a different plug style needed to connect the wires on the board… and heaven forbid to self fix this IF you are not tech savvy because we are but there is nothing we can fix if we get I correctly wired electric board plugs lol) . So ignore the companies replied to “call them to resolve the trouble” as THATS WHAT WE HVE BEEN DOING FOR MONTHS!
Don’t buy Pro-form. If you still do, activate the warranty. And avoid getting a model with built in tablet! Get one without or one that synches to YOU tablet of choice!

Buyer Beware - the "FREE with 3-year iFIT Family membership" is false advertisement. I purchased a bike and they sent me to a loan company, I paid the loan off and iFit started billing me monthly. I call ifit they say Pro-form only gave me a 30 day trial. I chatted up Pro-Form and this is their response below. Clearly they never intend to give you the 3 year subscription:
Maria C (8/9/2022, 11:06:57 AM): I am sorry, unfortunately mistakes happen and our member forget to add the 3 years on there account and hit the 30 days which is what happened here in this situation. There isn't much we can do as we do not have proof the 3 year were added to the account as we just show what you purchased which was the PROFORM PRO C22 w 30day iFIT Membership.
In addition to being double charged, when we initially received the bike, the handlebar was broken at the welded seam. They sent a replacement, then when assembling, one of the foot pedals was stripped. The bike sat unused for over a month waiting on parts to arrive. It's a poor product sold by a shady company.
UPDATE - I emailed as the replier suggested and shockingly, I'm getting more run around see their response below. Guess I'll have to spend MORE time that I do not have, talking to someone else that cannot help me. Will update after the phone call:
Summer Lewellen, Aug 15, 2022, 12:57 PM MDT:
That order only shows 30 days of membership. If the 3 years was advertised as part of a finance offer, you will need to speak to our billings department.
I would recommend giving our billing and returns department a call, they would be able to help you best with what you have described to me.
You can reach them at 833-680-4348. Their hours of operation are from Monday through Friday 6am - 6pm MST.
Have a fantastic day!
Thank you!

Squeak when using equipment, asked customer service for some simple, basic information about self-maintenance to resolve.
They immediately start a heated discussion where customer support refuses to answer any questions until I provide my proof of purchase, a picture of the physical serial number sticker, a video of the issue, a picture of where the device is sitting, and more.
They only respond once per week to emails, and their call in service after being on hold for 30 min, listening to the automated message advertising their extended warranty, is clearly not monitored. Basically they are just continuously asking for additional information to play out your patience, and don't actually try to resolve the problem.
Stay away unless you plan to be inventive and take apart the entire machine to fix it.
Also, the plastic components may come scuffed. I wouldn't normally mention the minor cometic damage (even when new), as its going to happen eventually anyway, but might as well now because of the terrible experience.

I went directly to Proform's website to purchase a treadmill. It was a decent price, plus free shipping and it included one month of iFit. It took THREE weeks to get the treadmill to me. It does need some assembly, and ProForm wanted to charge me a 1/4 of the purchse price to install! I would have paid $100, even $150 - maybe. But a quarter of the price of the treadmill?!@? hell no. Meanwhile, they started my FREE iFit subscription before the treadmill even left their warehouse! They sent me emails asking how I liked iFit and I always replied that I didn't have my treadmill yet, but they never responded. The assembly of the treadmill really wasn't difficult. Certainly not work $250. And I can't review iFit because my FREE subscription expired before I got the treadmill put together. TERRIBLE customer service.

Do not buy ProForm exercise machines as the warranty only last on labor and parts for 3 months after the purchase date. We already had one repair with in the warranty period of 2022, and now our machine making an extremely loud knocking sound. However we are out of the Labor and Parts period of 3 months which is a joke as it should be one year as standard like other exercise companies (Peloton) which we also own. Sadly, we are now left with a machine that makes a horrid sound which is only seven months old. Next time I will spend more and buy a Peloton.

Proform equipment is the best, but I'm returning my equipment because their contracted delivery company in Las Vegas Nevada named Fast miles is the worst company in Nevada. This is the second time they scheduled me for the delivery and couldn't follow through for the delivery of proform. The manager, Kathy lied about their delivery person breaking down and then turn around and said it was because of a shortage of employees. Then she hangs up on me. My equipment was to be delivered 3 days ago and now she doesn't know when she can schedule. She says perhaps a month out. I tried calling Proform to tell them about this problem and their employees said they are sorry and cannot do anything about it. I blame Proform because they should hire contractors that will deliver their equipment on time to their customers and to check on this company's customer service that they are providing to their customers. Fast miles delivery is causing them to LOSE business because I am returning the equipment since the delivery company cannot deliver. This also happened during the pandemic when I ordered equipment. They gave the same lie about the driver breaking down. Proform has great equipment, but too bad they aren't investing time to look what their contractor delivery company Fast Miles is doing to their customers!

Have been trying to reach tech support no one ever picks up calls. Chat doesn’t respond either and emails definitely don’t work you guys have a generic response and no help my bike doesn’t work I purchased extended premium warranty and get no support that I purchased and still have from the manufacturer warranty. I am extremely upset and reporting this to the better business bureau unacceptable to purchase a service and never have it available horrible horrible experience. Have a 2000 bike and it doesn’t work and no one helps. I have sent video and emails and continue to be asked by diff robots to do it over and over and over again so upsetting

From the minute I placed my order it has been nothing but lies and deceit. It took over a month to even get the delivery scheduled. Then on top of that the machine is squeaky, wobbly, and unsafe. Every time I tried to get help from member services I got nowhere. I tried to return the machine and got bullied into giving them a chance to fix it. When no technician contacted me I reached out again to return the equipment. This time I was told there was no record of me talking to them and I am now outside of my return window so I have to keep the machine

If I could give zero stars I would. We purchased a rower through Costco and out of the box the display didn't work. After several calls to customer service (and a new plug being sent out) they said they could come repair? the machine but could not replace it. A brand new machine should not need to be fixed. Disappointing to say the least. I will never buy this brand again.
After the reply from the company my response would not change. They wanted me to get a brand new piece of equipment FIXED to get it working? In my opinion a replacement machine should have been their only "fix". We returned the broken machine to Costco.

I wish I saw these reviews before I purchased my proform! I purchased a Proform Row machine. This is my first proform as I usually purchase Sole. I will never purchase a proform again! From day 1 the console had an issue. It took days of waiting on hold and waiting for a response. I finally got a hold someone on the chat and after 40 minutes they disconnected the chat and never attempted to re contact. Later I finally got a hold of another agent and after 1 hour I was told to send pictures/video of the issue. After a couple days going back and forth I was told they placed my order and I should receive in 10 business days. I then got the official order placed email. 7 business days later it hadn't shipped yet so I contacted to find out if I would still receive on time. I was told they didn't realize the consoles were in backorder and that they received them in and were programming them. I should receive in 7 days. As it was a couple days out and still hadn't shipped I followed up again. I was told that the consoles were in the process of being quality checked and it would be shipping out. 10 days after the point when they told me 7 days I followed back up. After not receiving a response back I tried the chat again and once again the repnsaid to give them a few minutes to look the information up and then they disconnected the chat on me. I finally received an email back stating "I see you were helped via chat. Let us know if you need more help" obviously the notes from the chat should show they didn't give me any information. So I respond back stating such and still need help. I state it has now been almost 4 weeks since my order was placed. I asked when would it be shipped out? Can they not fulfill the order? Should I return to the store? After a couple days I received an email stating my order has been placed and that once the order is placed it takes 2 weeks to build and ship the item. They said it might just be quicker for me to return or exchange with the store. I responded back with "why do I get a different response with every contact" first the got the consoles in and they were being programmed. Next they got them in and they were being quality checked. And now they claim they have to build them? And the order was placed 4 weeks ago so what date are they basing the 2 weeks from. Looks like I will have to disassemble and return to the store as they clearly aren't honoring their warranty. I would never recommend to by a Proform! This was an expensive unit to not work from the start and for the company to not honor the warranty.

Agree with all the negative comments here. Moreover this equipment comes preloaded with iFit and you have to click out of the app's harangue to get you to join. After 5 clicks, you can finally do a manual start. AND you can't get rid of the app AND they don't give a flip.

Purchased an elliptical trainer last year, i assembled it plugged it up and Boom out of the box it was making a clicking noise all on its own. They sent a Tech out to my place and nice of the gentleman to bring my mail out of my mailbox and hand it to me. Weird. Anyways he worked on the machine for 2 hours installed the new part and still not working. He said he'd back out at the end of the week and he never showed up. I wont bore you with details, but i was refunded my money and they tried to charge me $250 for shipping. I think not, so it was eventually waived. So 7 months of calls and assured "ESCALATION" to the delivery dept, the machine is still here... standing in the corner of the living room. Finally got an answer, 7 months ago that they cant find a Carrier to pick up my machine. I live in a major city, so thats a crock of spit. I recently already had the machine repaired by a real professional and ill continue to use it, for free. Thanks Proform.

I purchased the C7L bike new, and when I arrived home to get it assembled, the assembly for the monitor was bent, making the monitor extremely crooked. I reached out to customer support after registering the bike (they will not acknowledge you without this step), and after a long time and sending images, was told I would receive a confirmation email and replacement parts. Three weeks later, I have neither. I reached out to the original rep, and recieved no reply. Then, I received another email stating that "it looked like this has been resolved by a teammate". It hasn't. I put the alledged order number for the replacement parts into the tracking, and it doesn't seem to exist. Then, in another joke of communication, I received yet ANOTHER email the same day saying that "it looks like this has been resolved by a team mate". If it has, I will be the last one to know. I am contemplating hauling this thing back to Lowes and just being done.

Well I ordered their Hiit Trainer. I also had white glove delivery and it was delivered without a parts kit so their staff couldnt put it together. I was told I would be contacted but nothing so i sent emails to support. I gave them a week and a half to repond to my support requests and nothing. The only people you can contact are sales and they send you to support(Company seems to be all sales no support). You are constantly sent to a bot that is mostly useless and an agent never connects to chat. If you send an email all you get is automated response that someone will reach out to you shortly(has happened more than once). I have a machine in parts on my floor. There are better choices out there.

We bought a Proform Bike. Delivery delayed twice due to a “broken truck”. Then the assembly guys quickly did their job and never checked if the screen worked which it did not. After hours on phone we decided we couldn’t trust this company. We returned this bike but guess what, no one answers emails and hours on phone, we are still waiting for the return credit. Worst customer service. Buyers need to be aware.

Worst experience EVER! I ordered an elliptical in January, it was scheduled for delivery in late January. The delivery drivers showed up 2 hours early and said I refused delivery. I had made arrangements for someone to be at my home during the delivery window they gave me. It took hours on the phone to get another delivery date scheduled. Two weeks later it was delivered and assembled by the white glove service for which I paid extra. The elliptical was assembled incorrectly with the support legs pointing backwards which made it tip over if I stood on it. I called immediately, was told they would send back the delivery drivers right away. HA!!! Never came and never called. Hours on the phone to get some sort of resolution. They finally reversed the charge for the white glove delivery and "escalated" my concerns to their technicians to make an appointment for them to fix it. I waited 2 weeks for a call, no call. Hours on the phone to get a person, super pissed by now and asked if I could just return the equipment. I was sent to billing to work on those arrangements. The woman I spoke to in billing would not allow me to schedule a return until I "gave them a chance" to make it right. She ignored me when I told her I had already waited 2 weeks. I finally hung up, completely exhausted from dealing with the incompetence. Then, on the next business day the 3XM tech service called to schedule an appointment. I again made arrangements for someone to be at my house while I was at work. Three days before the appointment, I got a text requesting to reschedule the visit by 2 weeks. Of course I agreed! THEN......on the day of the initial appointment, I got a call from the technician informing me he was on his way to my house. Having no way to leave work and get there I had to turn him away after I explained that appointment had been cancelled. I have been trying for 10 days to clarify whether someone is coming to my house this week or not. NO RESPONSES to calls and texts. So, if it not fixed on Friday, I am returning it for a full refund. It is an absolute failure to provide ANY service and they keep saying they're understaffed....then quit selling equipment you can't maintain.

If I could give this company less than zero I would. Bought a treadmill in February 2021 and started having issues December 2021. Did all the recommended troubleshooting tried to do what they recommended. Nothing worked. Called multiple times and was constantly placed on excessively long holds or transferred and hung up on. Finally got someone named Alexandria who was actually nice 2 weeks before the warranty expired and she sent me a part and told me that if the part didn't solve the issue even if it’s after the warranty period we’d be covered because the issue was reported before. Welp guess what.. they sent me the part but the FOR THE WRONG TREADMILL!!! I tried to follow up and constantly put on hold and transferred and told to talk to some else. Now my item is out of warranty and they’re refusing to assist without changing even though the issue was reported while still under warranty and never resolved and THEIR rep said we’d be covered. This is insane to invest $1000 into something that only worked right for 10 months. This is an absolute nightmare

We have had a "Poorform" 16.9 elliptical for about 5 years now. It's a decent machine for the money, except for the quality of materials/durability. We basically have a complete home gym, weight benches, treadmill, bag, and the elliptical- all different manufacturers, all in our basement. We take care of our stuff, wipe down after use. The elliptical paint has been chipping off and the frame is rusting over the entire machine. No problem like this with the other equipment. When I bought the elliptical, it came with a lifetime frame warranty, 6 years parts, 3 labor. Well, they don't offer those long term warranties any longer, and I see why. Needless to say, they will not honor their warranty for the frame or parts, which is still active. Also, when I spoke with a rep about it, he was very rude and condescending, telling me I neglected my machine, and they would only cover it if it had been that way when I bought it. Well, if that were the case, I would have refused delivery. They treat their customers like dirt. This will be my last poorform POS. Thanks for reading
UPDATE...
So after sending Proform the info they asked for, they decided to just end my warranty prematurely. Guess they didn't feel like replacing any of the parts my machine needed. Nice of them to stand behind their product. Beware of buying their crap because apparently they can just cancel your warranty when it suits them. DEFINITELY WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
