I work as a Live-in carer with Promedica24 supporting elderly clients in their own home for 2 years now. Promedica24 was clear about expectations from day one and provided through training on manual handling and safeguarding. What i appreciate most is how the coordination team check up on you regularly and always quick to respond when you call or needed advice. I will recommend Promedica24 to every carer looking for a Live-in care job.

I was looking for 24hour care for my Mum. Gary responded really quickly and Katrina completed a home visit within four days to assess. Katrina was professional and demonstrated a good understanding and knowledge of the needs and situation that we found ourselves in. A carer was arranged to start within seven days. Unfortunately our circumstances changed and we were unable to meet the carer.
Overall the process was kind, professional and speedy, which was necessary.

Been working with Promedica24 since 2024 and I can truly say it is one of the best companies I have worked for. Very accommodating and helpful. It is a pleasure working with them. The managers ring me regularly to see how I am getting on aswel as the managers coming to visit me every so often.

I have been working with Promedica24 since 2023 till now, and I have nevertheless regretted of my choice working with them. They really trained their employees and make sure they all have good experiences in their job. Very excellence in caring, responsive and supportive in all aspects especially, most managers are really supportive, caring and have a good positive approach with coaching the carers . I really like the way their system works.

You don't get a choice of carer, so you can end up getting a carer with a personality clash. Having a carer that you get along with is fundamental as they're staying in your home.

I've noticed quite a few 4 and 5 start reviews popping up for Promedica24, however these are coming from employees rather than service users. Bear that in mind when choosing them.

Promedica 24 enabled our friend with Dementia to stay in his home for just over 2 months before he had to go into a Specialised Dementia Care Home. His 24 hours live in carers changed after 6 weeks and both Marius Paul and Colen provided him with companionship (taking him out for 2 hour daily walks) as well as taking care of his personal care, cooking, and cleaning.

Special mention needs to be given to Colen who was a breath of fresh air, offering exceptional care. He always had a smile on his face and kept the house spotless. He built up an excellent relationship with our friend and despite our friends’ lack of communication (non-verbal) Colen was able to anticipate all his needs. He also helped us prepare for our friend’s move to the Specialist Dementia Care Home.

From start to finish Gary and Katrina the Care Manager responded quickly and professionally to our issues and were extremely helpful and sympathetic to us throughout this difficult time. Thank you.

This company is loyal to their employees and clients. And everyone from HR, Managers, carers and other employees work together to give the best service to the client. Everyone feels important in this company.

I have been working with Promedica24 for almost two year now. They have an excellent team at standby always available to assist you. There is also continuous training for staff. Promedica24 is a nice company to work with.

I’ve had a positive experience working with Promedica24. They have been very good at providing consistent care packages and overall support. The team are approachable, helpful, and supportive throughout placements, and they take issues like bullying seriously, with clear procedures in place. I’ve always felt supported, and the emergency line is reliable and always available when needed.

The only downside I’ve experienced is that when arranging travel myself, reimbursement can take quite a long time, which can be frustrating. Aside from this, the company has been supportive and communicative, and I’ve generally felt well looked after as a carer.

I am happy with Pm24 because Promedica24 is a good company. You can choose your own time table to work.

I started working with ProMedical in July, and so far my experience has been very good. I receive the support I needed as a carer and the communication has been smooth. They are organised, responsive, and always ready to help whenever I have questions or need guidance. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience working with them.

4 years ago I had the chance and pleasure to join the PM24 team and I believe it was a wise demisionat. PM24 is an excellent company with professionals who are there for clients and employees. I'm very happy that I have the opportunity to work and represent PM24. If somebody need help I highly recommend PM24.

I spoke to Lisa Colver who was so helpful. She gave her time to explain all the information she could offer and to signpost me to other resources. This was a really difficult time and communicating with people like Lisa really helped. Thank you for your professionalism and care.

I have never worked in care before, joined Promedica in march this year, I’ve enjoyed every minute. I love working with the staff, management are great and hard working. All the clients are lovely, I love working with them, such a lovely bond with them all. Management are always there to help with work and life balance. Was worried about hours when I first started I’ve never had below 40 hours a week /)

The standard of care and poor level of communication continue to be a disappointment. I've caught care workers not attending to my mum when she was begging for help, as one example of poor standard of care. This is despite previous concerns being raised about this.

I started working for Promedica approximately 4 weeks ago. My whole entire experience from recruitment, to training, then into starting my employment has been impeccable.
The amount of support and guidance I have received throughout these processes, and that is still ongoing from my manager and other colleagues, has been outstanding.
I couldn’t think of a better company to work for, as it has been such a positive experience, and what they do and the amount of support that they give their clients goes above and beyond- they really all do CARE.

It's a business. Just about money. Same as all these "Care" companies. The same as everything in this life. Of course you have to pay but for what? You maybe get one now and again who is actually naturally caring. Finding such a person is like finding gold. We live in a robotic digital society of empty shells now. I need soulful spiritual people.

Promedica24 provided a mixed experience. While some carers were loving and professional, there were issues with untrained staff and customer care. Management helped with transitions, but improvement in service consistency is needed. Overall, a satisfactory option with room for enhancement.

We decided that our 93 year old parents needed live in care in order to allow them to continue to live in their own home until they died which is what they wanted to do . We researched a range of providers but it was only ProMedica24 that specialised in live in care. Our parents did not want to be tied down to times that carers were able to visit them to provide any personal care or give them their medication. Having a live in carer allowed them the flexibility they wanted. The care plan allowed our parents to be as independent as they could while giving support when needed. Due to our mother's worsening health and care needs they had a quicker succession of carers than expected but all were great and fitted into our parents life easily. Once our mother passed away having a live in carer was essential for our father. They provided him with companionship as well as taking care of the house and cooking.

Although most of the carers were Polish their English was good and most of them had lived in the UK for some time. Not only were the carers friendly and helpful the support we had as a family from the care manager and regional partner were exceptional. They responded quickly to any requests or change in plans and were very reasonable. They thoroughly assessed the care needed and priced accordingly and were helpful in understanding our parents finances. They helped in dealing with Social Services and that took the worry of paying the bills from us.
