Just what we wanted plain and simple crunchy peanut butter and it doesn't disappoint on taste either yummy. Good value will be ordering it again

It has become my go to peanut butter at my house, either if I am using my toast or crumpet in the morning, or making a peanut sauce for my mains I love it! It works so good, great ingredients and packaging.

I have bought Proper Nutty for several years (usually in 1kg tins).....don't buy any others. Bought two recently from ebay but the pb was different....paler in colour, less tasty, and much looser consistency (no need to spoon out and mix.....never minded doing this). Bought a tin from a supermarket hoping the two tins from ebay were an aberration, but no, that was the same. Had ordered two tins from the manufacturer on line before the s'market tin so cancelled those and Proper Nutty (Simon) refunded me but the 2 tins still got delivered (I expected these 2 tins to be the same as the other three). Simon said there had been some problems with production and that the recipe and production process had not changed.....not doubting the verity of what Simon said but I tend to disagree and think that the takeover by ABF means they have cut costs and increased the pb oil content to loosen the consistency, possibly believing that the initial stiffness of the pb would put customers off. I have given 2 Stars because Simon was helpful and offered the refund without me needing to ask. I am very disappointed in the product now, and will not be buying it again. I have found a similar product from M&S in 1Kg tubs for £5.....tastes just as good as the old smunchy pb, but not as finely ground for the peanuts, but I can live with that. Terribly disappointed former customer....well done ABF (Associated British Foods, who now appear to the owners of Proper Nutty, as per the P Nutty website).
PS Didn't want the new-style peanut butter.....so gave the 5 tins to the local Foodbank.....hopefully some needy families will enjoy it.

I get mine from morrisons and this peanut butter by far the best in the world never mind UK no palm oil so you will have to stir,
When bought i like to turn tin over [do not open] for 12 -24 hrs then turn back and then open to mix it. Proper nice lol

Great peanut butter, delivered quickly
