BUYER BEWARE Proper Wild advertised a Buy One Get…

Proper Wild advertised a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion encouraging customers to "stock up," with no disclosed limitations such as "one per customer" or "first-time customers only." (See attached BOGO advertisement) Relying on the stated terms, I purchased two boxes and paid $39.99 for one 10-pack, expecting the second 10-pack to be included along with my BOGO additional pack of 10, with a total 20 gummy packs.

Only one 10-pack was delivered.

Customer service later cited a usage restriction that was never disclosed in the advertisement or during checkout. At you can see from their BOGO deal, you enter your email to claim offer. If this was indeed one per person, their email system should've flagged my account and told me it was for first time customers only and by preceding, I would not get the BOGO deal.

But, alas, they only enforced their undisclosed terms AFTER accepting payment is not a simple oversight - it is deceptive selling, and in consumer protection, altering the terms post-transaction is considered a material misrepresentation and in basic language, theft. These selling practices deprive the customer of the benefit of the bargain.

As we say in the South, "If you meant to tell me the rules, you should've told me before you took my money." No matter where you are located, all of us should be told of the rules.

Consumers should be aware that the promotional terms Proper Wild enforces may not match the terms they advertise. Buyers BEWARE of this companies selling practices.
