I had an excellent experience with Prospero Teaching, especially thanks to Conor Maguire. His professionalism, clear communication, and genuine expertise made the process smooth and stress-free. Conor always made sure I was booked consistently in schools, ensuring a steady flow of work. He went above and beyond to provide support, kept me well-informed, and was always quick to respond to any questions. Prospero have been amazing since I first made my enquiry with them. Charlotte specifically ensured that my compliance was processed without delays and got me started with work very quickly. I ended up with a variety of assignments in short space of time, this allowed me to explore options of where I'd prefer to work.

She even got me an interview for a full time position at a school! my only grope with agency is that i will have to stay on agency for 3 months in my role before i can be employed directly and off agency. But I have no complaints about my representative or the help she's given me. Overall a positive experience

I have tried so many times to get into contact with this agency for more details. I have emailed directly to the address listed on the company website and filled out the contact forms online. No matter how hard I try, I cannot receive a response. This is especially frustrating given the gravity of trying to move overseas. We are also a family of teachers who were looking for work overseas, meaning that it was not just me relying on this information. Very disappointing as we were excited at the potential opportunity this could have provided. We are now in contact with an agency who responds. Prospero missed out on 3 fully qualified teachers with experience ready to start ASAP.

Don't bother applying to them as they won't contact you or give you the common humane decency of getting back to you. Be aware of companies advertising false job posts to gain your personal details.

I’ve been working with Prospero since September 2024, and it’s genuinely been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From day one, Dan Hodson has been absolutely fantastic. He’s professional, supportive, and always goes the extra mile to find schools that perfectly match my experience and preferences.

If you’re an educator searching for the right fit, I can’t recommend Prospero—and especially Dan Hodson—highly enough. The service has been nothing short of amazing.

Disappointing from the beginning. They promised me a number of hours and then they sent me to a school with very short hours . They were not even aware of that! So in fact they lied to me. Several times tried to get longer hours by myself, asked my consultant to intervene for me. Nothing! He’s never responsible for anything or know nothing.
My first payment the same: wrongly informed, my consultant didn’t know anything, had to fix it myself with the umbrella who really helped me through. He would always put the blame in my. He’s completely disoriented for the position. Can’t sort out anything, knows nothing and blames me for his incompetence.
I didn’t kea e the school because some members of staff are very supportive in many senses. But Prospero? Even today 9 months later continues not knowing anything or helping me out with any problems . Awful! A disgrace!!

I’ve now had to stop all communication with Prospero after spending over six months chasing emails just to get registered. Despite them contacting me for work, I had to repeatedly send the same documents as they kept losing them.

The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I’m genuinely appalled by how disorganised the process was. I would not recommend Prospero to anyone.

Worst experience. Period. Twice they have lied about the role and pay rate. If you are a school or a candidate, you don't want to do business with them. Also unprofessional and disrespectful.

Terrible experience. Lack of professionalism. Consultant takes calls during the interview showing no respect to the candidate. When I sent complaint about unprofessional conduct, the same person called me and was just rude. If I see advert for a job, I simply ignore. No way I would ever consider working for them.

Allegria is amazing.She is friendly and straight to the point.She was helpful when I was in doubt and promptly replied. However, Not much referrals came through, actually none so far.I defined receive lots of email but they do not match my position.

I had a deeply negative experience working with Prospero Group. The management team demonstrated a lack of empathy, and I encountered a workplace culture that was oppressive, misogynistic, and discriminatory. The company prioritises profit over the wellbeing of both its staff and the vulnerable individuals it claims to support.

During my time at Prospero, I witnessed several unethical practices, including double-charging local authorities and exploiting the already overburdened social workers. Instead of providing adequate support for those in need, Prospero placed under qualified or inadequately checked support workers into critical roles, simply to fill placements and generate commissions.

One incident that particularly stands out to me involved a director from the Cardiff branch, who knowingly invoiced a local authority for a shift that was never actually worked, remarking that they 'hoped they wouldn't notice,' which, on many occasions, they didn’t. The company generates significant revenue from local authority placements, but the way these transactions are handled is both unethical and wrong.

It was clear that the company's focus was on financial gain rather than on delivering quality care or ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the young people. I would not recommend working with or for Prospero Group based on my experience.

Firstly, I would like to give a very big thank you to Allegria! My onboarding experience with her has been phenomenal. From the very beginning then all the way through the intermediate stages eventually ending up with the role offer, she has been extremely supportive & kind. Her positive energy is real & I'm really happy that she was the person in charge of my onboarding experience. She never hesitated to help me with any of my previous queries/requests.
