Similar story. Started project for one price, then started asking for more and more money, without any invoices, and when invoices arrived they were clearly inflated.

42 Law Suits Reno Company

2024 update 2 - having spoken with one of the victims of Victor, I just learned that Pross Renovation has had 42 legal actions against it, or it suite its customers.

Yes, 42! Do be yet another victim and read on before you sign or give any money to Victor.

And I also found that that Victors little lawyer is very aggressive in trying to get NDA (Non-disclosure agreements) so on any settlements, they will gag YOU! so that you will not be able to warn others.

===========================================
2024 update1 - I have taken them to small claims court, and after many court sessions, suits and counter suits, am please to say I have won. They brough on a scrappy little lawyer on, but he has so little to go on, that myself without a lawyer have beat them hands down. Pross Constructions has been ordered to pay me back my full deposit plus interest.

If you end up like me, giving them a deposit, having them starting a bit of work, and then shortly asking for extras, I strongly recommend you stop all work, file a small claims and don't let these horrible practices continue.
=============================
Victor is good at fishing, and I got hooked, I hope you don't.
We hired Victor to prepare our carriage house for a concrete slab. Pross Construction provided a firm quote on the job. 3 days after the job has started, they came back and stated that their quote didn't include everything to do the job correctly and needed extra payment. After I told them they needed to do the job they committed to, they begun asking for extra progress payments, and upon not receiving those, abandoned the job.

Upon hiring another company to fix their work, it turned out the work that was done in the 3 days was of very poor quality of no value at all.

Furthermore, even prior to starting the job, the company was late by 10 days to start the job and had hard time lining up subtrades and ordering materials they had committed to order.

Highly recommend staying away.
