I was a UK-based freelancer working for French companies. One of my clients uses this platform to carry out compliance checks. Provigis have a poor understanding of UK regulations for sole traders and repeatedly demanded (and I mean "DEMANDED") documents that don't exist - certificate of incorporation, for example, or the number of foreign workers I employ... (as a sole trader...). The tone adopted by some of their advisors is rude and condescending. I retired at the end of last year and, in spite of informing them of this well in advance, am still being harrassed by their automated requests for documentation. I wouldn't normally leave a bad review like this but have genuinely found my dealings with them to be unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant.

I am sure that I have choosen english as language, but still I am getting your e-mails in French.

I had a very disappointing experience with Provigis. As a certified coach working exclusively in Italy, I uploaded all the required official documentation—compliant with Italian law and relevant to my activity as a sole proprietor—only to see it rejected for being in Italian. This alone shows a concerning lack of understanding of how freelance professionals operate in different legal and linguistic contexts.

Even more frustrating was the type of documentation requested: forms related to hiring foreign employees or company-level declarations that are entirely irrelevant for independent professionals like myself. I’ve discussed this with other Italian colleagues, and I’m certainly not the only one who found these requirements disorienting and excessive.

The platform itself feels highly mechanized and impersonal, with no flexibility or support for real-world cases. Worst of all, my attempts to contact the support team for clarification were completely ignored—no reply whatsoever.

Overall, this is a bureaucratic black hole. The service quality is extremely low, and the process is time-consuming, inefficient, and unsuitable for non-corporate professionals. I would not recommend Provigis to any freelancer unless they enjoy wasting time in a rigid, unresponsive system.

Great costumer service

They better answer their customer service emails instead of wasting time and money with the automatic replies here. I already mentioned to my partner that to not use this platform anymore

NO HELP NO HELP NO HELP

We had several queries that needed to be resolved. The Provigis team were very quick to respond and were very helpful. It took a little while for me to understand what I needed to do but we were very happy with the outcome. The translation tool is very helpful and we really appreciate having it.

This site / platform is a disaster. Especially for non french companies. Texts are half french, half english when you have the english version on, they keep on sending emails demanding information but do not reply to questions. The explanatory pages are not working (gives fault 404). Whereas companies are depending on receiving their payment. It is truely shamefull.
