****AVOID USING PS AUTOS FARNWORTH AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED****

Car was booked in with PS Auto's for a wiring loom replace, full service + bank 1 sensor replacement. Dropped the car off on the 4th June for the work, but 3 days later work was still not completed and kept fobbing me off telling me they had been working on it for 3 full days, yet my tracking system I have (not tracker the brand) told me that on the 1st day the car didn't even move from outside their workshop until 1.30pm as my tracker alerts me by phone to any activity with the car. Plus as I only live 3/4 of a mile away I was also able to go past the garage to check myself but nothing. Eventually when I called on the 6th to collect the car thinking it would be all done, they admitted it hadn't been worked on all the time and despite assurances that it would be ready on the 6th it wasn't and said it would be Monday 9th as they dont work weekends.

Collected the car on the 9th June so 4 working days in total which is not acceptable. Now have found many issues with the car so am not happy and will have to go through small claims court to get these resolved as the garage is claiming that they have not done anything wrong! Many issues as follows. Fitted part of the wiring loom and gave me the rest back, why only fit part of it when I paid them for a full fit? I have looked at the wiring loom and you can see all wires hanging down where it's not been connected as it should have been.

Both o/s and n/s front wings now have marks and scratches that were not there before from the mechanic leaning over the car with overall that have studs on them and didn't use any protective covers for the car. My air con now doesn't work either when it did before the car went to them as have been using it daily with the warm weather! Confronted the garage about this and the mechanic that did the work, just sniggered and laughed as if to say yes I know it doesn't, my daughter filmed him whilst this was happening and proof can be shown if needed. Visited Halfords thinking it may just need a re-gas, but they confirmed it has been topped up too much by the garage (as they do air con) and that could be why it's not working. Then had an air con specialist come out to my house, who confirmed the same thing.

Full service has clearly not been done, once I got the car home and had cooled down dipped the engine oil and is all black like treacle, if a oil change had been done as I paid them to do it should be golden honey colour not black! So I doubt that the rest of the service has even been done. As said I only live 3/4 of a mile away so not like I have drove hundreds of miles so no way should it be black in colour when the oil was supposed to have been changed.

Next issue is my car is now running way higher on the temperature gauge than it did previously, having had the car for 5 years have got used to where the temperature sits in use (around 80 degrees) but now is running at 90-95 degrees. Probably related to some part of the wiring loom not being put back on.

Bank 1 sensor 1 issue on my car has not been fixed as they were supposed to have done, they have charged me £125 nearly to fit a new sensor cable as they said it would fix the issue, no fault showing when I picked the car up so think they just cleared off the fault and now after starting the car myself a few times the error is now showing back up on my obd machine.

I am going on holiday to Cornwall at the end of June surfing as I do 3-4 times a year, but now cannot go in this car as I cannot trust that it is safe to do that kind of distance and am now having to go through small claims court to get this resolved. There is probably more wrong that I haven't spotted as yet and they will reply to this review with a load of nonsense as so far they have just denied everything and told me constant lies.

AVOID USING THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS, I THOUGHT A LOCAL GARAGE WOULD BE FINE, BUT DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST AND SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF HASSLE
