These guys are a scam
These guys are a scam. I never agreed to a subscription, and they started charging me $20 per month. What a terrible, predatory, dishonest company. The user interface is terrible. It is impossible to tell you have a subscription, and impossible to cancel without contacting customer service. At least the customer service was fast and efficient. They claim they are issuing a refund. I'll believe it when I see it.

I didn’t realize I had to pay a monthly fee when I did a search. There wasn’t an option online to cancel but the representative did it with no problem.

Adequate service but deceptive billing
The website and services were adequate, but the billing was deceptive. I was led to believe I'd be laying a one-time fee ($7-$8) to obtain a report I needed, but then I was charged $60 more ($20/month for three months) without realizing I'd actually been enrolled in a subscription. I only caught it while reviewing my personal bank statements. You can't sign people up for something like that without getting their consent. You also need to tell people they'll be charged monthly and remind them to cancel if they want to avoid future charges. While it wasn't difficult to request a refund, and the Live chat service to resolve this billing problem worked great, I don't think I can do business with this site again or recommend anybody else to this service.

I was charged as a monthly fee...never intended a subscription. I feel that was spammish. HOWEVER, the chat assisted quickly and refunded my money AND canclled my account. So, kudos for that.

I liked the relevant information I was able to find on PublicRecords.US. However, I did not like the fact that PublicRecords.US continued charging me $20 per month "for access to their platform" when I never authorized it. When I when I signed up for my one-time access, it was not obvious that they would continue to charge me. Deceptive.
