Avoid- terrible experience 6 hour late start and a 12 hour delay in delivery
Booked this company through Air-tasker. They convinced me to book off the app for a competitive rate and to avoid fees. I stupidly went along with it. Worst experience of my life.
They were due to show up at 7am, as the moving in location was in manchester and I lived in london. They didn't show until 1.30pm. The movers were useless, my sister and I ended up bringing most of the bags and boxes outside.
We left for manchester at 4.30 (i live in a 1 bedroom flat) it took them 3 hours to load the vans.
I get to manchester by 8.45pm text - no reply then I call them, they havent even left london yet. Was given a long list of excuses and was told they'd be there by 1.30am which was a ridiculous time ti unload the van. They then agrees to be there at 6am to offload. I wake up at 5am call them and they said they'd be there by 6. Call them again at 5.45, lo and behold, they said they'd be there by 7. They did not arrive till 7.30am. They offloaded my stuff, again with my family's help or ut would have taken all day. The bottoms of my wardrobes, draws and shelves were damaged also.
It was a nightmare of an experience. There was little to no communication unless I constantly chased. They had my entire life I those vans and couldnt be bothered to send a text to update me without prompting or chasing with a 6 hour delay in starting and a 12 hour delay in delivery. Was a nightmare experice and I would not reccommend. I have screenshots of our conversation for evidence. Also their website has suspiciously been removed now too... so I would avoid at all costs.
