These magnets are so good when they good; however, expect 5% to be rejects in any order due to stray ink, scratches, bent corners, and other production issues. We order thousands of magnets a year from Pure Buttons and build the cost of our time doing quality control ourselves and the 5% average that don't make the cut. Customer service will make it right if you have the time and patience to jump through way too may hoops.

Hi Biff, thanks for sharing this feedback! We usually over-run production by a few units to account for any duds that may pass through on accident. I will bring your concerns up with our production manager and we'll discuss this issue with our production staff. We will always replace damaged product like shown in your first photo if you let customer service know about it. Thanks again.

The photo came out beautifully and the magnet is of very good quality. I was disappointed, though, that the text I had added and saved—which did appear in the proof—did NOT appear on the magnet.

For artists looking to make magnets of their work for resale, this is the only (American) company I have found that does both stellar reproduction work AND is affordable (to accommodate both wholesale and retail pricing). I sell lots of these. And my experience with the company has been fantastic. On a technical level, be aware that because they work from Swop 2 CMYK files (as opposed to converting directly from RGB) you may wish to invest in samples where your color profile is adjusted for certain colors that shift noticeably in the transition from RGB to CMYK. (My work is intricate and color-rich, so this is important to me.) I usually dial down the magenta content of greens, cyans and blues for instance.
