Delivery was clear and on time, as communicated. I'm very happy with purchasing this, first time I'm trying fresh spirulina and so far I love it. The taste is great (not much taste actually, it blends seamlessly in my morning smoothie and gives it a creamy consistency). I made this smoothie 3 days in a row now after my morning run or yoga sesh and I have been feeling great, quite energetic and with a clear and focused mind. Maybe it's placebo but I don't care haha I will recommend this to all my friends and family!

I look forward to my frozen spirulina every day. I have it in a smoothie, also containing phytoplankton and blue/green algae powder, celery, cucumber, grapes, apple, mint, bee pollen, humic/fulvic acid, frozen cherries or blueberries, and hemp seeds.

It's intensely refreshing and I've had more energy despite my having ME/chronic fatigue syndrome, which is the reason for my aggressive, highly nutritious approach to my diet.

I'll continue to buy the spirulina because after only a month of taking it I'd miss it too much, physically, energetically and mentally if I went without it now. And I believe it's helping to heal me. I can't honestly say whether it's more effective than powdered spirulina because I'm taking other things with it but I instinctively feel like it is.

Excellent quality fresh spirulina, perfectly cool packed & reliable delivery.

I have been on this Spirulina for 1 month and going on my second month and have found it to be fantastic. I get up every morning at 5am and go with my Staffie for a run never had so much energy as I have now. I heard some runners have two a day but I have not but am thinking about it. My stamina has really improved since taking this fresh Spirulina. Will continue as long as I feel like this. Thank you Pure Fresh Foods Ltd.

It is too soon to tell what effect the pure raw spirulina is having although having a delicious green smoothie in the morning (I mix a few things in depending on mood and what I have to hand - currently Kale and aloe vera in the mix with apples and bananas) I feel lighter and muesli or light porridge competes a satisfying breakfast. My digestive system feels much better already which may be due to that and I sleep well. Delivery was very prompt.

However the packaging is an issue as you mention in your communication with the receipt. I am not sure about returning it .. what will it cost? A return label for it would be good or a discount, otherwise I will be paying for it twice. I appreciate your concern tho . Maybe you can find something better soon? Then I can give you 5 stars!

I am very happy with the quality of this product. It has amazing health benefits I truly recommend it to anyone who is interested in spirilina to trial out for a month and they will feel amazing. I have been using this product since March 2020 and will continue to do so. I have recommended to friends and family too.

I’ve been taking this for 3 months now and can not get over how much my hair has changed. It’s grown a lot but I have so much new hair growth it’s incredible. My nails and skin have also improved and it has become a really simple positive ritual in my daily life. My kids have started drinking the smoothies too as they love the taste - may have to up my order!

Upon beginning my health journey, Spirulina was brought to my attention. I ordered some online, in which was powdered form. I endured the smell, taste due to the benefits that I had read/researched about online, but it was too much, I could not even consume due to its smells etc. At that point I was on a search for the closet/bestest thing I could find...I then came across Pure Foods. At one point, I said to myself there must be something different out there, something more pure.What a blessing. I have taken this on/off for the last 2-3 years now, to be honest, you don't need much to gain much from this miraculous product. This is now my go-to product, on top of that purefoods mission is to have a zero water policy on their product's and this is something I am all for. Packaging is ace, honestly feels like a Christmas present every time my monthly supply comes. Worth my money, time and effort in installing this into my daily life, a product for humanity. I am super super proud to be an early adopter of this product. To a long sustaining relationship with purefoods and a everlasting sustaining product for us all. Thank You

I’ve been wanting to get on the Spirulina band waggon for some time, but trying several methods of consuming the powdered form made me very sceptical about its benefits. The dark green powder, smelt and tasted disgusting and I could not accept the filthy consumption v it’s claimed benefits was a balance worth living with.
Getting a hold of fresh Spirulina here in the UK is difficult with only 1 seller to my knowledge. Purefoods are that company but the price for the frozen product, in my opinion is horrendous. I appreciate there are overheads and other costing but to me, the consumer I feel it’s very expensive for what it is.
Having said that, I did on this occasion make use of a coupon code and had a little discount.
I placed my order on a Friday evening and it arrived as promised a couple days later. Packaging was first class, individual 20g pots in a plastic bag, surrounded by frozen freezer blocks and in a large polystyrene box.
The Spirulina itself has very little taste and a defrosted consistency very much like mashed avocado and appeared to be a very good quality product. Please bear in mind, I’ve never had fresh Spirulina before so my views are only with this product.
Having consumed 1 x 20g pot per day for 3 weeks, I’ve not had any magic spells cast over me, nor have I felt any great improvements to my training. I also appreciate one shouldn’t expect miracles, but the claims for this wonder food and it’s price should at least allow me to stop taking iron supplements. (Yes, I test regular). For £100 bi monthly, which appears to be the cheapest they do, I’m afraid it’s just a bit to much.
To summarise
Service, great
Packaging, excellent.
Spirulina, no smell, tastes acceptable, smooth and creamy.
Benefits, not consumed long enough to judge.
Cost, wow, had to have a lay down, pure foods needs some new batteries in their calculator
Will I buy again, I might suggest to family that it would make a good birthday, Christmas present for me. ;-)
Or if I’m lucky enough to find some discount codes somewhere.
