Excellent experience with Pure Sailing!

Excellent experience with Pure Sailing!

The entire process, from booking to check-out, was smooth, professional, and customer-focused. Our Lagoon 42 was in very good condition, well equipped, and perfect for exploring the beautiful Sporades islands.

What impressed us most was the way the team handled a disagreement during check-out. They listened to our concerns, reviewed the situation fairly, and ultimately demonstrated a level of professionalism, trust, and customer care that is rare to find.

A big thank you to the entire Pure Sailing team for a fantastic sailing holiday. We will gladly charter with them again and highly recommend them to anyone sailing in Greece.

Are Pure Sailing Skippers even qualified?

Whilst sailing in Greece we encountered several Puresailing vessels. Whilst in Poros we watched with horror as one skipper reversed at speed into the harbour wall. Judging by the noise of cracking gelcoat damage must have been caused.
Two days later we were moored in a bay near Aegina when the s/y Kit Kat, owned by Pure Sailing, came into the mooring. There were already fourteen boats moored in the bay. The skipper simply motored at speed through the anchored yachts , oblivious of chains and other boats, and proceeded to drop anchor and reverse onto another vessel.
There was a great deal of shouting and several of the guests on board were clearly frightened and sobbing. The skipper was simply laughing.
A horrible display of dreadful seamanship. Hard to believe this skipper had any Sailing qualifications. Dangerous to guests and also to other vessels.
