Avoid at all costs.

Avoid these machines at all costs. They break for fun. You get no help from customer services. It's a complete rip off. We have 6 and only 2 are still working. We hardly ever go out on them as they are so unreasonable. The last one broke down some 3 miles from my final destination so had to walk.

The worst scooters and service imaginable

I purchased a Pure Scooter in December 2023, and after three usages, it broke down for no reason. This took two weeks to fix.

After using it two more times, it bugged out, and there was no clear message of what was going on. This is when the ordeal started.

After exchanging 14 emails with Koen W from helpbe at purescooters.com over one month, they could not reset the scooter.

For this basic task, they needed to pass my info to the "technical department" and have them contact me once done. But they never once contacted me back or fixed the issue. Each time, after a couple of days, I had to remind Koen W of my problem and be met with the same answer that the info would be sent to the "technical department" and they would get back to me.

After going nowhere for one month, I took the scooter back to Fnac, the store I bought it from. They said I needed to contact Pure support to reset the PIN and that they couldn't do this for me due to security risks.

So, after two months, I'm back to square 1, with no one to contact or solve this very simple issue.

Please do yourselves a service and don't buy a Pure Scooter.

wow what a s"&T hole of a company

wow what a s"&T hole of a company, i returned my pure scooter via DPD via using a link on the pure website I've just been informed after more that a week that my return was unsuccessful via the pure site even thou Teresa stated that the collection was made but the driver incorrectly marked it as not... now because either DPD or Pure has lost the scooter they are refusing to help me saying there is nothing they can do, ill be taking this matter further as this scooter cost me several hundred pounds, i have all the corresponding emails and ring doorbell footage of DPD collecting the scooter... this matter is not finished

Update today 02/11/2023 after Pure telling me that they are unable to help me once i booked the return of this faulty scooter back to them. today i see the driver and managed to take a picture of the DPD van numberplate, i forward this onto pure..( Teresa )
Im now told there was some confustion... instead of wanting to wash there hands on this return as they ( pure) intended to do.. only because ive had to chase them now we see what really happend..

My advice to any persons wanting to purchse from pure ( oh btw this is the second one ive had the first one failed me after i belive was 13 months ( just outside the pure one year warrenty) and this one that i sent back recently failed with multiple problems after just 7 months, poor quality scooters with very very very abysmal poor customer service..

SHOP ELSEWHERE FOLKS.

Team DSM review of Pure Air Pro

As a WorldTour professional cycling team, Team DSM, we have been using the Pure Air Pro since June 2021 to navigate our way through the paddock and our work has become much more efficient. This scooter is a fantastic, reliable, easily transportable and efficient means of transport that brings great value to our work! Thank you!

prone to flat tires on regular underground, great customer service

It's a decent electric vehicle for whenever you need to do small distances weekly.
On the other hand, if you ever need something fixed, you better be sure an independent repair shop is nearby because Pure doesn't have any physical stores or repair facilities anywhere.
I've bought mine in september last year and now, not even a year later, I've already had two flat/busted inner tires - always the back one. I only ride it on the pavement or bike lane, not doing anything funny with it. It's hard to come by a spare (as stock on this website is almost always depleted and I can't find any kind of bike/scooter shop that has some in the right measurements). So, here I am, sort of depending on this thing to get to work and not being able to for the second time in a short period.
Would be helpful: full rubber tires that don't need air - it would also make the product more 'sustainable'/durable (but that way, they wouldn't sell all those inner tires)

On another note, customer service is very personal and really helpful once you get to them.

Maybe...just make sure you have some sort of backup if you buy this and have to rely on it to get to work, school,... - as long as it works, it's a good way to get somewhere.
