Cat won't touch food

Cat won't touch food. It's been changed. Thousands of others reporting similar.
Cats ill. Some dying. The company claims they only removed natural colouring.
This is not the whole story - they have done something else and you should completely avoid all their products.

Purina Cat Food is hurting our Cats.

We have 6 cats here in Ireland, 4 barn cats on a mainly raw diet and 2 indoor cats. One would only eat Felix chunks in jelly, any variety, one would only eat Gourmet Perle. (Although they did used to swap bowls through the day)
Felix chunks guy shed fur all over, would vomit the whole pouch within minutes of eating it, had runny poo, was quite lethargic.
Gourmet Perle girl had runny poos (NOT great on a pure white angora) would vomit soon after eating, had awful scabby skin, high fur loss, sore, dull eyes etc.
The vomiting has been one of those 'cat things' that's been happening for a good couple of years & I always put it down to the cats eating too fast. Anyway, 6 weeks ago the ONLY change I made was to swap their food.
They're both on Animonda Carny now and the change in them is immense.
Thick shiny fur with barely any shedding, bright eyes, firm poos, NO vomits since the day we changed - not once. And oh my word, after an hour or so, their bowls no longer have that stench, oh god, I forgot about the smell of the purina foods after an hour.... and don't even mention the fly eggs every day (even when there's no flies in the house) 🤢
Purina is no longer welcome in this house.
I just wished I hadn't blindly believed the adverts & marketing before 🙁
Purina are not taking the cat owners seriously when we try to report these issues to them. SOMETHING is going on, whatever they say. I hope that they start taking notice soon because so many cats out there are getting sick and even dying. It's disgusting that they aren't investigating. I'm just so thankful that I changed before we had cat deaths like so many others. 🙁

PURINA HARMS CATS... PURINA DOESNT CARE

NEVER EVER will Purnia get another penny of my hard earned cash for their blatant disregard of thousands of people like myself, whose cats have become unwell from eating this crap.

Most of this year my boys were sick. I thought they were eating their food too fast and puking shortly afterwards, but it had nothing to do with the speed of their eating.

One of my boys lost 1/3 of his body weight and we thought he was on his last legs. He was skin and bones. Then we found thousands of other EXACTLY THE SAME anecdotes by people about their cats. THOUSANDS of them.

And from that day forward every item made by Purnia was binned.

And from that day forward both my cats are now a healthy weight, they are playful again, inquisitive and very happy.

And...from that day forward NEVER will I purchase a Prunia product again and I will spread the word about their crap food and disregard for cats and their owners.

This company is not taking very genuine…

This company is not taking very genuine concerns from pet owners about what their sub standard food is doing to our cats, there are over 23000 of us on a Facebook group all with sick cats displaying similar symptoms all after having this food. I’ve thrown away tonight around 50 pouches of this food as I won’t be buying this again.

One cats coat has gone to pot she’s stopped grooming and is really greasy, she’s lethargic and meows at odd times of the night, vets checked her over and we changed her diet, no sane vet or shop owner recommends this crap, vet describes it as ‘cat crack’ as there’s so much sugar in it it can cause diabetes which leads me into my next cat who has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and a heart condition and I feel awful that I may have done this to them all because of what I’ve fed them, I sincerely hope that no other cats have to go through this and I will do what I can to get this message out to everyone STOP FEEDING YOUR FUR BABY THIS ABSOLUTE CRAP.

This food made my cats ill

This food made my cats ill. Symptoms include weight loss, thining coat, sickness, diarrhoea, watery eyes, sneezing, drooling, extreme lethargy. 17,000 cat owners in a Facebook group are also having the same issues but Purina are still telling us their food is fantastic. Disgusting way to deal with a serious problem. After one week on different food my babies are recovering. Putting on weight, playing again, alert, affectionate with no snotty nose or runny eyes. No more sickness or diarrhoea. Please do not feed your cats Purina. It's going to kill them slowly!

I fed my cats Purina, never again

I fed my cats Purina never again, one was sick, the other walked away from the new brand.
The sick cat became lethargic, no energy, hiding. Changed to a different brand, he is back to his loveable/active self.
Purina needs to sort their ingredients out.
I no longer trust them with the health of my furbabies :(

Please stop feeding your cats Purina

Please stop feeding your cats Purina. It's making cats sick. I have completely stopped feeding my cats on anything by Purina. Purina needs to take responsibility for their actions. Their new formula is killing cats. These products need to be recalled.

Felix has been poisoning Cats

Felix has been poisoning Cats for about a year-and the Company are ignoring it. There are thousand affected that we know of- some have died. How many have been missed? Its a slow poisoning-Mine had been on it for years. My Cat has been sick- slowly recovering I hope. I will never buy a Purina Product again. We need stricter regulations in the Pet Food Industry. Disgusting they are doing this to our Cats.

Dreadful

Dreadful! Since the Felix recipe change my cats have been sick. Changing to a non-Purina brand has seen them improve in health. Purina deny that their recipe change was responsible but thousands of cats and owners cannot be wrong!

My cats used to love Felix cat food…
My cats used to love Felix cat food both have ended up suffering from sickness, diarrhoea and loss off wait I ended up taking them to the vets, vets couldn’t find anything wrong with them, luckily after reading about all the sick cats that have been eating Felix cat food!! I asked if I could change their diet and see what happens and the were both back to normal within a week, if I hadn’t seen the post then I might not have my cats hear today as vets said if they didn’t improve with change off diet that they would off had to be put to sleep :(
