Disappointment At Christmas
Ordered two mini kegs as part of our Christmas drinks purchases. One of Glaslyn and another of X-Moose.
Having visited the area and the pubs supplying Purple Moose over the years we expected great things and were happy to pay the premium over our normal mini keg choices, Woodfordes, Adnams and Grainstore.
The Glaslyn was the first to be served and came out very actively and cloudy. Reaching out to Purple Moose I was informed that our handling was the problem. It never really cleared and an had that sour taste.
The X-Moose opened perfectly but after a couple of days became very cloudy and undrinkable.
Such a waste and disappointment considering our previous experiences, (Never ever a problem with the bottled beers we always brought back from holidays). It's great that Purple Moose gets it right for the vast majority of it's customers. For us, it wasn't an experience we will be returning to. Our Woodfordes beers were perfect until the very last drop!

Everything ordered was delivered on time and was able to track down to the last minute, so no wasted hours waiting in for something that doesn't get delivered on time.
As far as the consignment is concerned - all eminently drinkable, but not just that - definitely the best beer in Wales, probably the UK, even possibly the world...but I am slightly biased.
Keep it up Purple Moose.

Company … but mighty with it.
I’ve been shopping with you for a good few years and service is excellent.Nearly always next day delivery and always efficient…and always well boxed therefore no breakages….bigger companies would do well to follow your business ethic.In the same vein, your choice of courier reflects that same efficiency.. polite and every effort to keep to time schedule stated.
Originally I used to phone through my order and the lady who took my call was a delight to talk to and she always enjoyed the stories of my dog beating the empty box to find treats.
Now I order on line I do miss the human touch but quality of service just as good .

Porthmadoc comes to Lincoln.
When we are on holiday in Wales, we drink Purple Moose beers. It takes 5 hours to get to Wales, so we have to get it sent to us. We have now sampled 9 of the beers, and every one hits the spot.
