Horrible customer service from Puzzleyou.com
The picture that was uploaded said the quality was great. Received the puzzle as a Christmas gift for my kids and the picture on the front of the box is so blurry you cannot even recognize the people in the photo. I have contacted puzzleyou.com at least 6 times now over 2 weeks and no response. This cost $42.95 and I will be doing a chargeback on my credit card ASAP. Buyer beware!!

Ordered a puzzle for Christmas. Never received it. Customer service refused to issue me a refund.

My wife and I love our puzzle. It's great putting it together from one of our adventures. The puzzle came out a little dark so the next time we order we will lighten the image a bit.

Terrible customer service. They don't respond if you have an issue. I wouldn't recommend buying from them. Lots of other options.

I need to say that I am amazed at how quickly you all print and ship. The first time I purchased, I was shocked. Then what is even better is that the puzzles themselves are very high quality prints. I have purchased from PuzzleYou and another competitor and PuzzleYou without questions has been the best. Most modern customer service practices are ok - PuzzleYou seems 5 stars out of 5 stars. I am very impressed with the selections of formats - and with those formats comes an extremely well tailored user interface and experience via the upload and editing process. I admit - I do choose to use photos that fit within the image’s field orientation (landscape or portrait) and when the photos are uploaded “magically” the system is able to “decide” the best placement within the field via cropping, etc. I just had to send a message to say that I am really happy with what PuzzleYou does. Elite shipping - I was overjoyed to see that you were all in Williamsport. My daughter and her husband live in Philly. They love it there. Anyway - they will get the puzzle well before Christmas and I cannot wait to see her 🙂 when she sees it. I had ordered my wife a puzzle (she needs an endorsement - she is a puzzle genius) and my daughter said “wow! She’s going to love that! I love it!” And I thought at the last minute to get her one as well. Ordered somewhere around 10pm CST on a Friday night, selected express shipping because it is worth it, and before 12 CST on Saturday, I had a UPS tracking number.

Now - I order A LOT. PuzzleYou’s service is TRULY freaky fast and TRULY high quality.

I’ve ordered theee puzzles. Great customer service. I had an issue with damage from the shipment and they immediately sent another. Love the puzzles and made very well.

This is a fabulous gift to someone else or even to yourself. Wow. And customer service was outstanding. I made a mistake and they made it right. Would highly recommend dealing with puzzleyou.

Misleading local website address Canada but product exported from Germany. As a result, i had to pay not only local canadian taxes but also customs fees of $29.27 and 20% European VAT. Adding shipping costs of of $14.99S the puzzle that costs $59.99(20% VAT included) costs me $104.25.
Insane and dishonest sale practices.

Somehow my order got the wrong address on I messaged the company to get it changed I could not find a phone number anywhere to call the company I finally found one for the warehouse but it closed long time ago 5 hours later my shipment got shipped out to the wrong address and then I see on my email to the company my message might not be read for a day or two that's bologna no phone number to call so if there's a problem you're screwed so now I'm out money and I don't have a Christmas present for my sister and if they did take the money out then you say change the address for my credit card but they didn't change it for the delivery I will take this off please straighten it up but otherwise I'm leaving this on update on this so their phone number for puzzle you is under construction so there is no phone number to call if you got a problem I emailed four times two different places at the company that they had the wrong address sending my packages out 5 hours later you got shipped out going to the wrong address because none of my emails were read and I couldn't call them so today I got an email back say ing you're out of luck you can't return it and we can't change the address I called UPS they were going to charge me another 99 or 96 dollars to get it sent to a different address I spend an hour and a half on the phone and I think I finally got it straightened up I'm not sure I don't know what I'm going to get it so thank you puzzle you for screwing up my Christmas not helping at all for the problems I was having and now my sister won't have a puzzle with her deceased husband her and me on it for her put together or one of us in the mountains because you don't want to help anybody I'll never buy from your company again and I recommend no one else do it

I ordered a 1000 piece custom puzzle last week and it shipped literally the next day. Arrived in perfect condition with great quality. The trick is - you must upload a high-resolution photo for your puzzle to turn out good!

Have ordered several puzzles as gifts and they have all turned out great! Customer service & speed of shipping also great!

PuzzleYOU have incredibly bad customer service. You can only “contact” them by email. They respond too late to correct the issue and then give you pat answers so the problem cannot be corrected no matter how many times they say to contact them and they will correct. I have spent hours of my time on this and I caution others to use other reputable companies like Shutterfly to get their photo puzzles. I sure wish I had that time.

Edit: I reached out to customer service for the second time on Friday December 12,2025 per their review response, and have not heard back.

I ordered two custom puzzles from puzzleyou as gifts for my elderly aunt, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. We submitted clear photos—one in landscape so the entire family would fit—yet both puzzles were printed completely wrong. The first one was flipped to portrait, cutting half of the family out. The second puzzle was even worse: the photo included my aunt, her daughter, son-in-law, and son, but the puzzle only showed my aunt and her son-in-law. Everyone else was cropped out.

When we reached out to customer service to ask why this happened, the only solution they offered was a discount code to “order more.” We don’t want to order more—we want the order we paid for to be made correctly. Offering a coupon instead of fixing their mistake is unacceptable. At the very least, they should reprint the puzzles properly.

Until they make this right, I can’t recommend this company.

BEWARE! Policy for Change or Cancellation is Trash! I wanted to change my photo within minutes of placing my order and was told that I could not change or cancel because I ordered as a guest. This makes No Sense! Why aren’t all of their customers equal? This was not something that was presented to me prior to ordering usually companies give you at least 24 hours to cancel or make changes this company didn’t even give me five minutes. I would never use them again and I will be disputing all charges with my bank.

Extremely Deceptive Pricing Practices

I ordered a product from Puzzle You and was shocked to discover only upon delivery that I owed a tariff fee. At no point during the checkout process did the company disclose that their product was subject to additional customs or tariff charges. The mail carrier informed me at my doorstep that I had to pay the tariff before receiving the item.

What makes this even worse is that the tariff was almost the same cost as the product itself, essentially doubling the total price. Had Puzzle You been transparent upfront, I would have made a very different purchasing decision.

This kind of lack of disclosure feels incredibly deceptive. Customers deserve to know the full cost before placing an order—not after it’s too late to cancel. I will not be ordering from this company again and strongly caution others to be aware of these hidden costs.

I didn't realize it was a German company when I purchased the puzzle. After it was shipped, UPS sent an me an invoice for import fees after I paid for the item and shipping. The import fees was almost half the price of the puzzle. Go with a local company instead. Much cheaper. Apparently there was fine print, which I cant dispute.

I was very surprised at how fast my order got processed, in fact it made me decide to place another order from them. I am also very happy with their communication levels towards delivery times and tracking. I will defiantly order from them again.

Puzzleyou is misleading in that they state made in the USA. We refused a delivery when UPS stated there would be a $34 tariff since the puzzle came from Germany.
