PLUMBERS BEWARE

Higher wages lies to get plumbers in the door, no van stock given, a bunch of disorganised people. No one has the answer to anything, shocked how there still in business. Also, they will attempt to not pay you, I have been waiting on wages over 3weeks after working for a month.

I currently work for quality heating…

I currently work for quality heating services. I started there beginning of 2024 although i worked at another company doing the same job for 20 years prior.
I very much enjoy my time working for QHS, I feel appreciated, I’ve got that love of the job back.
I have regular pay, company pension, along with van and fuel card. No Saturday working unless it’s overtime. Christmas and all bank holidays off.
Most importantly I feel appreciated, I know I said it twice. The office staff help you out when needed.
There’s a good work life balance which I feel is important as I have a family.

Very bad experienced as a plumber

Very bad experienced as a plumber. Job decription not as advertised and salary a lot lower than they stated. Lack of communication, loading your already busy day up with extra jobs without even asking was the norm.No parts for jobs meant no pay.Stating if you were late for a comapny meeting which was 2 hours away in morning rush hour you`d be deducted an hours pay ! I met various operatives while on the road and all were looking to move on but one of which stated I`d be gone after a week and he was spot on.Disorganised,dishonest, no real support and a high turnover of staff. I Should`ve gone with my gut instinct

QHS very came to our aid & rescued the animal to boot!

My wife and I contacted QHS in desperation having got (what turned out to be a large Crow) trapped in our Chimney behind where our gas fire is in our lounge. They sent a senior Manager who took great care making our gas fire safe, before removing it and very carefully with the help of a thick pair of gloves rescuing the stranded Crow and releasing it in the back garden. The Crow promptly flew off and the QHS operative put back the gas fire and tidied up as if he'd never been in our house. Very impressed with the service and also deeply grateful to QHS.

the staff really aren’t helpful

the staff really aren’t helpful. there’s never an engineer when needed. i have ongoing issues with this company. very unprofessional & rude. sent many complaints & nothing has been sorted.

100% compliance in one London borough - costs monthly direct debit paying customers a fortune!

100% compliance in one London borough - how did they achieve that?

1. They - QHS- carry out Gas Safety checks, twice in one year. I've personally had 3 checks in 20 months.

2. If a customer has no gas or electric on their credit meter, they siphon it off another customer [within a housing block], then that customer knows how to continue to commit fraud, and no longer bothers to top up their key meters, and it costs a customer such as me paying by monthly direct debit a fortune supporting another eight or nine households. I'm in the process of taking legal action, for this blatant fraud!

New boiler ill-fitted by unqualified 'engineer' who boasted of 'fitting' his first boiler. So many gaps, I've never seen so many flies and mosquitoes outside of Kew Gardens. This 'fitter' used my fridge freezer door to balance his tools, he scratched my stainless steel cooker, he left his rubbish all over the kitchen, he flooded the kitchen, he didn't clear up after himself and he had the check to tell me not to store bleach in my kitchen sink unit, and he gave a false name.

In regards to your first point, Service records show that Gas safety checks at the property in question are consistent and correct with what we would expect to see. The installation of a new boiler on the 20 February 2019 necessitated the provision of an additional Gas safety record mid-term as is a legal requirement.

Your second point, QHS unreservedly repudiate the accusation posted. Such unfounded accusation drives at the heart of the integrity of our business, a position we will whole heartedly defend. If customers are concerned about their energy consumption we would suggest that they contact their energy supplier who will be able to check the metering of such on request.
