Yup. They took everyones money and refuse to offer any way of getting your records to either you or your supporters. Now their sites down. Criminals - and even though they got a few thousand out of me (and no doubt many others), its just not quite enough to justify entering into legal proceedings. A pox on them.

My record was pressed 13 months ago and other people have received it, they refuse to ship it, they refuse for me to arrange for a courier to collect it, every month "Emmanuel" tells me it will ship end of the month. I was too patient and thus too late to do a chargeback so they stole $80 from me. I have wasted hours and hours trying to resolve this. I know they are a Japanese company, if anyone has any success taking them to court in UK or Japan please let me know as that would be my next option.

Order is a full two years old. Still not delivered.
Won't cancel because of Pledge Order Cancellation Policy. The free market will sink this business as it continues to fail in every aspect.

I unfortunately never got my cassette and although i have tried to reach out to them to see why i haven’t received my item, they tell me it’s still in production. it’s been “in production” for over a year..

Qrates is a scam that took my money 2 years ago and never released the vinyl.

Support invoques their policy to do nothing and certainly not to give my money back !
Every 6 month promess they are solving the issue probably to wait for prescription.
I'm looking to sue them before if anybody is in the same situation we should gather and do something all.
And now not only I hate Qrates but also the band that I bought the vinyl from and do nothing for their supporters. Any artist and customers should avoid this company.

my friend setup a crowdfunding project through QRATES LAST MARCH, and I placed an order through it. it’s coming up on a year since the initial “shipping date” and there’s still been nothing but radio silence on their part. it’s getting to the point that i’m tempted to say “either give me my vinyl or give me my $60 back.” my friend is frustrated, i’m frustrated and QRATES has given neither of us anything. DO NOT USE QRATES FOR ANY PROJECTS

never received my record been over a year ordered april 14th 2023

I preordered a vinyl last May and it has not come at all. The creators of the campaign have been updating the people who have ordered the vinyls and they seem to be as equally upset and frustrated as I am. This is extremely unprofessional from Qrates to keep delaying the item and not give a valid reason why, it is just all excuses. I will not be ordering from them again and honestly this company is scamming you at this point.

I do feel for all of the people who have not received their order from Qrates and I feel for all of the artists who have been given this level of unprofessionalism from this company.

Total Scam. They never produced the album and every time I would email they would say it was in production but wouldn't say anything more. This continued for months. When I finally asked for a refund as it had been way past the time it should have been shipped they told me to read the fine print and no refund would be given. It has now been a literal year I purchased the album 6/2023...

Ordered an LP 'In Stock' so already funded and pressed. No delivery date after 6 weeks, customer services advised a 4 week dispatch delay with stock items so my item should have been dispatched 2 weeks ago. Contacted Qrates for a refund - no reply. Opened a case with Paypal.

Some customers have been waiting over a year and can no longer claim their money back nor assistance from their card providers.... Don't leave it long to open a claim with your credit card company/Paypal or your right to a refund and their help will time out.

Getting on for 2 years and no records. I have a series of email responses with increasingly vague reasons for them not sending the records. In February one was described as "in the last stages of production" but I'm now told "should ship in June but no estimated dispatch date yet".
Don't ever order anything from Qrates. Just look at the other reviews. They are scammers.

Never got the record I paid for, and just constant excuses why I haven't. Too late to try to get my money back. Do not trust

I would give less stars if i could. Still waiting on records ordered 15 months ago. Pressing quality is mid to begin with

I preordered two records in the spring of 2023. It’s been 11 months and I’ve heard nothing. I contacted customer support and got a pasted response saying one of my records was shipping soon. That was two months ago, and it still hasn’t pressed as far as I can tell. Artists shouldnt use them for crowdfunding, and customers shouldn’t buy from them. At this point I doubt I’ll ever see my records or my money.

You won't ever get what you ordered. Took my money, filibustered until the paypal threshold for a refund was passed, and then radio silence. Total scam.

I’m an independent artist. This is my full-time job. I used Qrates to run a vinyl crowdfunding campaign last year. The project funded successfully in June, and my backers (including me- I ordered 150 vinyls from my own campaign at production cost to sell online and at gigs) were charged at that time. Qrates gave me an estimated ship date of 10/24/23, now here we are on 1/5/24. No records have been shipped, and I’ve only gotten super vague and dismissive responses from them with no new timeline for my vinyls. I reported them to my credit card company today. It’s been a nightmare. Don’t give your money to this scam business.

Wish I could give a zero star rating.. I ordered a vinyl back in January 2023 (almost a year now) and still haven’t received my order. Most of the crowdfunding fans of the artist have not received theirs as well from what I’m reading online. Terrible customer service and I’m pretty sure I won’t receive my vinyl at this point. Artists beware!

What an absolutely pathetic company.
Over 6 months and they’ve still not shipped my vinyl!! I could have walked there and collected it myself in less time!!
I just do not understand why any artist would use this bunch of cowboys???

UPDATE JAN 2024- I recieved my order! *SCAM ALERT* It's been 11 months and they still haven't shipped anything.

I ran a campaign for a label artist, paid for the remaining vinyl myself, and the records were pressed months ago. The delays in shipping have been 6+ months, ridiculous excuses from customer support, no answer from the head of marketing or CEO, bands large and small, labels, managers, etc can't get answers. Don't even think about working with this company!
