Many appreciate the free service and the ability to customize codes with logos and various styles, making it a practical tool for different needs. I am a High School Principal presenting at a conference on the subject of mastery learning. In less than 5 minutes I had a functioning QR code embedded in the presentation, and it works perfectly! Plus it was free. Brilliant love this!!!!

They are lying SoBs

They are lying SoBs. It's not free, even the static ones are not free. Use some other service. Coz once you use these so called free QR codes, they just ask for a subscription or deactivate the QR code. Lost a lot of packing material that way that had their free QR code on it.

Avoid this company!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Their website is laid out to market themselves as a monthly subscription and then charges an annual fee, with then exchange rate as a Canadian was $193!! I thought I was paying $11.1 for the month. Secondly, there is no preview of what they are going to charge so I didn't get to see what was being charged beforehand when I thought I was being charged $11.1. Then speaking to someone is painful. Pre-written responses. I'm pretty sure my refund request was all AI generated. I cancelled right away and their response was our internal policy says we have to be fair to all customers meaning we don't listen to anyone's cases. But we can show you with our AI generated responses how to enjoy our services for a year. Oh yes, I only needed it for a week. Anyways, I will tell anyone and everyone about my experience so they don't go through what I went through.

DO NOT fall for this trap

DO NOT fall for this trap. Not clear on subscription or renewals and billed annual rather than monthly which was in my opinion sneaky and unclear upon first glance. Only allows 3 active QR codes for the year for $150 paid up front - wow. Very scammy vibes, just barely on the cusp of legitimate business operations. Pretty confident the 5-star reviews are fake :)
Update after reply: I stand by what I said, tried reaching out and raising my concerns prior to this review

EU regulators will shut them down

WARNING: QRCODECREATOR.com Is Running a Straight Up Subscription Scam – Stay the Away
In my opinion QRCODECREATOR.com uses dirty deceptive tricks to trap people into expensive recurring charges. They hide the real cost of a $150 USD subscription in tiny low visibility text with shit color contrast while making everything else big and obvious. This is not an accident. It is designed so customers miss it and get screwed.
This is a classic scam tactic. EU law demands clear upfront disclosure of recurring billing. Hiding it in garbage fine print is illegal bullshit and regulators need to hammer them for it.
I demanded cancellation and a full refund right away. They refused.
If they charged you do a chargeback immediately with your bank or card issuer. Tell them you were deceived by hidden recurring charges. Enough chargebacks will force their payment processor to drop them and shut down their scam operation.
File complaints with every consumer protection agency you can find. Report them to regulators. Spread the word so more victims fight back.
Bottom line: QRCODECREATOR.com acts like scammers. Do not give them your card. If you already did cancel everything dispute the charges and monitor your statements like a hawk. Use any other QR code tool instead.
Consumers getting robbed need to hit them hard with chargebacks until their payment processor cuts them off.

Scam

They advertise a "free QR code" and then in tiny print at the very bottom of the page they say it's a 7-day free trial and then make you pay an annual subscription that they quote you at a monthly rate even though you can't pay per month. If you leave a bad review here, they'll leave a condescending response that basically says "you should've known better."

I'm going to pay a little more to have my marketing materials reprinted just so these parasites get nothing from me. It's not clever, it's pathetic.

Response to QRcodecreator's reply:

The "free" QR code you offer is the dynamic one and there's no option to select a static one, so what you're saying only sounds like it makes sense but is really BS and just validates the fact that you are a scammer. You wasted my marketing budget with your bait-and-switch and then you come back and blame your customers like the scammer you are. Just stop.

I believe this to be a scam - Please don't make the same mistake

I believe this to be a scam. They offer a free QR code then when you generate and download it you are only allowed to continue using it for a couple of days unless you pay their subscription fee which is $133. There a lot of companies who do allow you to generate free QR codes. I requested cancellation but they simply brushed me off saying my issue had been resolved. I emailed them several times afterward and they didn't respond. I only wanted one QR code but have sadly learned my lesson the hard way. Use Canva or Adobe or any of the hundreds of free generators out there. Please not make the same mistake I did.

Following the response I received I’d like to edit my review. You responded here that the QR code continues static and not interrupted but the emails you sent actually state that for the QR code to continue to work you have to pay the subscription. I tried to speak to you about this via 5 emails. Of which I have proof. At the very least you’re deliberately misleading people into generating a ‘free’ QR code then sending emails stating that it won’t work anymore unless you pay over a hundred pounds for a subscription. I stand by my review and warn people not to work with your company.
