Just back from a stay at Lynher Hut. Quirky little shepherds hut with the most beautiful views. Lots of space for the children to run around in, very private and relaxing. Set on the ground of Mount Edgecombe Park there were lots of walks to be done and gardens etc to see. Just a 5-minute drive down the road is payable parking, a lovely pub serving delicious food, a pebble beach, the ferry into Plymouth and an amazingly beautiful coastal walk. Ten minutes drive from the amazing Whitsand Bay beach and about twenty minutes from a supermarket.

The hut was lovely and fun. Very cozy and compact, just what we wanted for our adventure with the children. We lived out of the back of the car for a few days, which was absolutely fine. We aren't really campers so struggled to get the fire going! (and also took us a while to work out how to get the gas going).

Would advise you to bring a frying pan! There was one pan and a ceramic pot, but not ideal for bacon or eggs.

Really pleased with our stay and would definitely come again.

I stayed here with my husband and dog and it was a really lovely, peaceful place to stay. Perfect for a weekend get away, we felt really relaxed.

From the first enquiry about our trip it was perfect, plenty of contact re booking etc., description of property and facilities/location etc were spot on.

I booked a lovely few days away in the Rowen Yurt in Wales ! Which was wonderful, I wanted to thank quality unearthed for helping me. When I booked the holiday I booked it for the wrong dates, I though sh**, I’m not going to get my money back and they’re not going to be able to change it but with one simple phone call to a lovely and helpful lady she sorted it right out and our stay was perfect thank you !

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Children (and adults) loved the hot tub and watching the ponies in the fields

Our shepherd’s hut (Jacob’s Folly) was absolutely gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated; with excellent attention to detail. The small woodland was peaceful and quiet; and owners Andrew and Claire always happy to help if we needed anything.

The lovely heated outdoor pool was a huge hit with the kids; as were the pigs, goat , chickens and parrot.

The bathroom was simple; very handy to have your own individual bathroom.

Local beaches were in easy reach and the local convenience shop sold almost everything you could want.

If you like eclectic family glamping this is for you.

What a brilliant place! Jon and Clo are fantastic host and the cabin is such high quality. The kids loved the attic beds and it added to our experience. Great location and places to go and eat. Highly recommend The Box by Ben Gobbi takeaway, amazing food. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be going next year. Book now 😀

Squirrels Drey was absolutely perfect! Breath taking views of the tranquil lake, star gazing with cocktails on the balcony, bbq in the fire pit, feeding the ducks, lazing in the hammocks in the sun…the list goes on but we can’t recommend this magical place more!!

Beautiful accommodation where everything has been thought of. Tasteful and cosy the Shepherd’s Hut offers comfort and peace and quiet. There are real efforts to be environmentally aware and appreciate the surroundings, which are perfect. The welcome packs that can be pre-ordered are lovely local produce and good value for money. The little extras in the hut made it an easy stay too. The local area was great and we enjoyed a lovely long walk and lunch in the local pub. We would definitely return…a hidden gem!

We stayed for 3 days at the shepherds hut and it was amazing in every sense. The facilities were outstanding and the owners had everything you would need for your trip, we are a young couple who are racking up destinations we have visited and our stay at Cae will take top spot as best places we have lived quite relaxing and incredibly clean and modern.

If you are looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the place to come. Surrounded by animals and nature.

The owners are the most friendly welcoming people you could ask for. If I could give 10* I would :)

Haven't even been able to book our holiday, was refunded due to covid however haven't recieved my voucher back from them (birthday gift from my brother) which was included with the original booking last year. Awful customer service, no one ever get back to you. How hard is it to send a voucher in an email!!

Perfect location and comfortable site. Everything we needed was there. Clean and comfortable even when it rained. Kids were ready to move in.

We stayed here for our Minimoon and we had THE BEST TIME!!!! The views are STUNNING!!! So peaceful and remote. Perfect place to escape!
Sara and her partner were wonderful and so accommodating.
BBQ, utensils, hot tub and robes are all provided and a welcome message when you arrive!
Location is ideal too!

The lodges were lovely, a really effort had been made to make them comfortable & rustic! The garden was just as I pictured too. Unfortunately for us it rained the whole time we were there so unable to fully enjoy the garden but the bath was awesome. Only tips I have are 1. An awning over the decking on the main lodge would make it possible to sit outside even in the rain & 2. The directions to the site were fine until the last part where you’re left not knowing where to go!

Had a fantastic 2 night stay in Majors Lodge. Fantastic setting. Great shower, super comfy bed. Never used fire pit or bbq. Used hot tub both nights. Tracey and Rob friendly hosts. Definitely recommend.

Great cabin, good location and great hosts! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful get away

Myself and my partner have just enjoyed 3 amazing days at the Kites Nest. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore and already want to be back there. The lodge is beautiful- modern, homely and well equipped with everything that you could possibly need. The lodge is located at the top of a farm- tucked away, we had the private and peaceful get away that we wanted. The nearest town (Newtown) is only a 15-20 minute drive away so you never need to go far for supplies. The owners of the lodge were lovely and only ever a message away if we needed anything. Despite there being so many outdoor activities within Powys, the lodge really does provide everything that you could want- beautiful scenery, friendly peacock, horses, sheep, woodpeckers and of course red kites overhead.
The dreamiest staycation that i would certainly recommend and definitely return too!!
The only downfall is not being able to check in until 17:30- however i think this is purely to allow a deep clean of the lodge though and wasn’t an issue for myself.

Kate was absolutely lovely. And the pod was so relaxing and the surroundings were beautiful. Both my partner and I had a great time! Would highly recommend.
