Travel certificate - NO!

Very disappointed with Qantas „decision” about „forcing” people into untested and not safe vaccine for Covid if they want to get onboard. You better reconsider that and start CARE about people, otherwise You will go BANKUPT as nobody will be interested In flying with You. sad sad sad 😞😞😞

Quantus does not care about passengers

Quantus approach to Covid speaks to the airlines concern for passengers - not much. The arrogance shines through. This not for individuals benefit, and Quantus is overstepping the mark, and stepping over freedom of choice that people can exercise - especially given the limited trial times for the vaccine and unknown long term effects. I have flown with you for the last time. Bad move Quantus!

Lost all trust in Qantas

I have flown with Qantas before and enjoyed the experience. However they are the first airline to introduce the health passport and I categorically oppose this stance from any company.
This virus has been proved to be a low contagious virus, the tests don’t test for CoVid and there is no isolated virus so why the need for a vaccine????

And why is an airline mandating such a unethical act???

Will never ever fly Qantas again!!

If there is no solid proof and 99% or…

If there is no solid proof and 99% or more people are recovering from this, what is the point of asking people for covid vaccination certificates. This vaccine This is treason and illegal against the people. The vaccine is not tested and we have zero idea of the long terms effects of it. The people who think they have power to force people to have vaccines, lockdowns etc are losing and insane and you as a company are absolutely pathetic to not stand your ground with what the people your customers in majority want and side with a dictatorship goverment who have zero legal powers to govern the people and choose what should or should not be right for us. We the people have always been free to choose as our wills are our own.. Free to be, free act in everything.

Not your competency

It is not the competency of a private carrier to demand health certficate, personal health is not a technical or terrorist security issue and it is unnecessary hassle for clients to demand it. The proposed requirements is a joke and I will never fly Quantas again if they require vaccine or test before the flight.

Re : Your Covid vaccine comments

I only gave one star so that I could include a message.
Dear Mr Joyce and Qantas Board,
I object strongly to your comments about refusing passengers on your airline if they haven't had the Covid19 vaccine. For a completely new type of vaccine, this vaccine has not fully been tested and undergone years of trials to make sure it isnt more harmful than the virus itself. Might I suggest that you Mr Joyce and the Qantas Board all line up for the first vaccines available in Australia.
Please remember that in the trials they only allow very healthy people. What will happen when people who have underlying health conditions are vaccinated? Did you know that the last SARS Corona virus vaccine caused horrific autoimmune conditions to the ferrets in the animal trials and never made it through to approval.
The outcome of a new vaccine will take years to properly assess so your comments are reckless and put people off using your airline.
Good luck for the future because we will remember!

Shame on Qantas!

Shame on Qantas for announcing that only if people have had the Covid vaccine (a vaccine that has gone through so little testing, the minimum of which is supposed to be five years) can they fly internationally. Clearly they do not know that the vaccine companies are exempt from being sued if the vaccine maims or kills people. A vaccine is supposed to be a choice and Quantus should remember that the virus has a 99,3% recovery rate. Qantas's directors should hang their heads in shame.

You can’t coerce us!

Due to the recent policy put forward regarding no vaccine no fly. I will not be flying with qantas again. We the people have a choice and will not be coerced in anything.

Terrible service for customers

Terrible service for customers, I will never fly with them again, book direct with another airline, never book via a agent now, there are too many agents who will take your money and then the Airline will not deal with you and the Agent is even worse, Qantas are one of the Airlines which hides behind dubious policies but its service to and from Australia is efficient.

Qantas are not allowing NZ hotel voucher scheme to work.

Qantas allow you to book to NZ, confirm the flight etc.
Then when you organise a NZ hotel quarantine voucher Qantas has decided not to be on the drop down list.
So you can't print a voucher and lose your hotel spot .
For goodness sake Qantas, stop allowing public to book flights that don't exist. What a lucrative ploy by the airline. Now I have to change flights and hope for a new hotel spot.
