I have recently just placed an order…
I have recently just placed an order for a dna test, to be told it has been dispatched and shipped out due to arrive by 6pm today (UK time) I have then come across this website and found all these negative reviews, making me think I have been scammed. Out of interest has anyone managed to get a refund?

I think they are a fake company
I ordered a quickDNA test despite some bad comments i'd seen.
The results were very surprising, nothing that we had expected given what we knew. I decided to try 23andMe which is well established company also providing DNA tests. The results of 23andMe were very much in line with that i'd expected. So either QuickDNA made a mistake or they are crooks. I would tend to go for the 2nd option because it's impossible to get it this wrong. There was not even 1% of the results in common with 23andMe. I wrote to them to ask for a refund and ask for explanations but they did not care.
Avoid this company at all costs

SCAMMED OUT OF £324!!!
Spent £324 on a prenatal paternity test 24 hour shipped. It’s been over a week and still hasn’t been shipped. I went to message them and the website has literally disappeared. I’ve been scammed out of over £300 and am a young mum left with no money now. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

SCAM DON’T BUY
As stated with many other of the reviews this is a scam.
They lied to me and stated they Recieved my samples, I waited months for results and then got an email from my postal service stating they still had the samples and couldn’t get hold of the company. The samples have since been sent back to me and state QD did not accept the parcel. I asked QD to check the parcel multiple times and they ignored me or lied and said they had.
I ordered in Nov 2023, still on Feb 2024 no results and no follow ups even though I asked them for help over 10 times.
I asked them for a refund and they are acting dumb and stating they cannot give me one. I have reported them for fraud. DON’T BUY FROM THEM YOU WILL LOOSE MONEY AND WASTE TIME.
and I have noticed they reply to all reviews that call them a scam and had similar experiences (66% of the reviews) that they are not a scam - to that I pre-emotively reply - your arguing with 66% of your customers. You’ve lied about results, not given results and lied throughout the entire process. You refuse to give any refunds for your poor service and not supplying a product. It is a crime in the UK (and most other country’s if not all of them) to allow someone to pay for a product that you have no intention of suppling to them. Take your defence somewhere else.

QuickDNA is oplichting / scam
QuickDNA is pure oplichting.
________________________________________________
QuickDNA is a complete scam. Like us, don't fall for it. Everything goes well up until the DNA samples are submitted, but after that the scams start.
After a few days you will receive a message with a so-called test result. This result consists of an empty .pdf of 1KB in size. When contacted about this, an indignant response comes back with comments such as "we can confirm that everything went well" or "The lab has done everything correctly and confirmed that the results have been sent". All nonsense.
The red flags should have been that answers are given in different languages, that the test tubes have to be sent to a slum in a Czech city and how they respond to emails. In our enthusiasm about our cat's ancestors, we fell for it.
I hope that with this review we can prevent more people from falling for it, even if it is only 1 person. If that person is you, good for you and great that you checked out the company.

QUICKDNA Fasle advertising
I recently wrote a review about QUICKDNA. Their reply by email was totally pointless. I don't know how to reply on this platform to other people who had the same experience as me.
I would like to make an official complaint as it is a total scam.

Complete scam!
Complete scam! I ordered a paternity test and after finally receiving the results it was for an etnicity test which was also completely innacurate as it has been tested before with a reputable company and the results were completely different. The results they are sending out are completely fake! I wish I would have read reviews here before falling into this trap.

Énorme arnaque ! (avis rédigé en anglais)
This is a huge SCAM !
Other than giving you the percentage of your origins, they promise features like finding relatives you share DNA with, detection of genetic diseases, analysis of your pharmacological compatibility, analysis of how your genes interact with nutrition and exercise, and so on…
But all I received was a .pdf file with only 2 pages in it, the first one depicting a map with coloured countries and a percentage, and the 2nd page is totally blank with a stamp of approval.
There is absolutely NO scientific DATA whatsoever, zero analysis, and nothing that is promised. For all I know, this colourfull map could have been totally randomly generated since there is no evidence to back it up.
I contacted the customer service and asked them several times if there was something wrong, because I didn't get the data ; they replied each time with an evasive manœuvre : something must have gone wrong in the transfer, because they do see multiple pages (how many, they NEVER answered)… Yes, I use Acrobat. What could be the problem with THE original reader for .pdf files, hum ? So I asked them to resend the file ; they did and it is exactly the same.
So to me, the map is a scam of randomly coloured countries that cost you 99,90€ !
I think we should gather and start a group action in justice against this corporation.
Plus, they promise a 72hours reply, but after getting the notification of my postal service that my parcel had been delivered, it took 9 days and a reclamation (and a search from their side…) to get the so called "results" (which are probably fake).

Very disappointed by this service
Very disappointed by this service. I sent a sample in beginning of September 2023 and no news from them at all. A month later, yes I waited patiently, I sent them an email asking about my DNA sample. They didn't even know if they had it or no. After a few days with no answer I pinged them again and I received an email with a pdf a week later. Supposedly the results. I opened the pdf and it didn't contain anything except two lines. I had to send an email back and say you sent the wrong pdf. At that stage I blamed myself for doing this experiment with them at the first place. How could I trust people with my DNA who aren't even able to send a pdf!

Shame on these scammers!
Zero star if they would let me! It really is a scam but I only just read the Trust Pilot reviews on this company after purchasing!
It’s been 10 days since I sent the kit back (using UPS next day delivery that cost me 50€), multiple emails sent, and NOTHING!!!!
SHAME ON YOU SCAMMERS!
DO NOT BUY!
EDIT:
7/9/2023
They just emailed me the “results”. It’s a blank page pdf. I can’t help but laugh now LOL what a joke! SCAMMERS!
EDIT 2:
26/10/2023
I already had days of email exchanges with your company and all your AI-generated automated replies. Your “accurate” results was a blank page of PDF document. At least make some crap up, try a little harder?! A BLANK PAGE! I last emailed back on September 7th but I had heard nothing back since. Order number was QD2702ZW. If you have more garbage to say, more empty results to send, you can contact me directly.

Swabs have been sent back and are stuck in customs. Czech post office have advised they have reached out to the company with no response.
I have emailed them 6 times with no response.
Order number QDUK1020ZW - would be nice to have some communication as it is a lot of money to spend!
I will now be raising for a refund and a chargeback with my bank - they keep trying to remove my review however I have sent proof to trust pilot!

Not trustable
Avoid them! I did a test with them, the result of which was that I am the father. Families have been ruined, and later it turned out during a test by an another company that I am not the father. They caused a lot of suffering to 3 families with this fake service. If i could write an opinion without censorship, it would be much stronger.
They say, the test is exact, but we made another test with another company, include the 3 people together, and the result different than quickdna got.
