FYI to former customers: This boiler room operation, with call center in the Reading Pennsylvania vicinity, has been shut down following FBI and IRS investigations. Its purported address of 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 does not belong to Quick Health. It is actually the address of The Corporation Trust Center, where Quick Health may have had some sort of registration. A good, ethical, health insurance company in Texas, having the same name, has suffered reputational harm due to the name confusion.
SUPER SCAM... Will NEVER see your refund!!!!
Absolute scam not even sure how there is a 3.3 rating for this company... I initially got in contact with a broker who connected me to someone from the fraudulent company. From the start I felt something was wrong because it took over two months for me to even see any ID cards as I was paying $200/month for the insurance. There was two separate times where this "company" double charged me within the same month and to my surprise I actually received one of the two refunds. After the double charges I asked them to remove my card information off of autopay where they then still tried to charge but thank goodness my bank sent me a message where I was able to start denying payments. But on a monthly basis they would still try to change me and my bank would have to stop it. Amongst the many suspicious encounters it was always the same people I spoke to with the names Shyid, Danielle, Shira, etc where I'm sure others were told different names but I always got told the same excuses over and over again as to why I couldn't get in contact with specific individuals regarding my refund and they knew what they were doing by continuously charging me on a monthly basis since I was told I would not be reimbursed if I was to terminate my policy. This company never really had an official app or website which is also very uncommon. Constantly emailed and called with no response there was like 8 different phone numbers that I have written for individuals that I have spoken to, which by the way they all now are no longer in service. Within the 7 months I had to deal with them I have seen the company's name go from PCHS, SMBA, Quickhealth, Seguro Medico, Benefitsnow, etc. and was told that the company was just bought by someone else. SUPERRRRR SCAMMM and I wish I would have opened my eyes sooner but in reality I was just a grieving broke college student who needed insurance and I was trusting the broker to set me up with insurance. Lesson learned :( something needs to be done with these a**holes and I'm just praying I can seek legal action for this nonsense.

This organization is a total scam
This organization is a total scam. I signed up with them after seeing their affordable insurance adds. First they overcharged my credit card and didn't reimburse me. Next, they didn't reimburse me for several doctor visits. They informed me I was covered but never reimbursed me. When open enrollment started the broker, Albert Groff was so nice and informative he convinced me they had worked out all their kinks. This time I signed up and payed my yearly premium all at once. One month later, Albert Groff contacted me and said they were having problems with the provider (Optimed) and they would have to sign me with another provider (NetWell) and I would instantly get reimbursed for my first premium at the same time. It didn't happen. Once they had my money, Albert Groff became the POS he really is, giving me attitude about my refund. Now they have two premiums- over 10K. I hired a lawyer, his conclusion..they are a "lightly veiled scam". I contacted the Attorney General of Massachusetts. They informed me they are most likely a scam. 5 months later.. they still have my money. I've called their "providers", they say they have severed ties with Quick Health/ BenefitsNow. Getting in touch with them just gets me a long runaround.
My hope is this review stops you from giving these criminals your money as I did.
This company is fraudulent
This company is fraudulent. I have had them contact me that I needed to update a policy and then never refund me on the cancelled policy. This has happened twice. I have documented proof of this and I am currently owed over 7000 dollars from Seguro which used to be Quick Health
This company is big scam and they need…
This company is big scam and they need a class lawsuit filed against for their unscrupulous practices
they billed me after i closed the account several times to a tune over $400 they never refund your money all you get is stalling from them. Never resolving the Issue
While doing my taxes for 2024
While doing my taxes for 2024, I discovered I was charged $129.99 and $59.99. I call your number and you verified that I do not have policy but you refused to refund my money. If I could have given you a minus on the stars, I would have. TOTAL SCAM. Now I tried to submit this review and it wants my password!!!
Failure to pay claims
My initial policy was initiated 2/1/2024. I was expected to pay the full years premium in advance. The plan was revised as of 7/1/2024 per the recommendation of the company, again requesting the full years premium. It took over 3 months of fighting to get the unused reimbursement returned. Even then, I had to get my credit card company involved to block charges. I underwent routine health maintenance care (mammogram, pap smear, blood work, and physician appointments) on 5/20/2024 with additional appointments on 7/5/2024, 8/14/204, and 10/31/2024. I was informed all of the care received was fully covered under my plan. The total cost of the mentioned care is $4,269.23. The above claims were submitted more than 3 times (by the healthcare providers) to the claims address on the back of my insurance card. As of 2/2025 I am now receiving bills from the care I received in 2024. I contacted the insurance company assigned to me - Optimed inquiring as to why they were not paying my claims. They responded that they did not have a working relationship with QuickHealth as of 4/2024. However the address and contact number on my card indicated my coverage was with Optimed. I reached out to QuickHealth on numerous (>30) occasions without success. I left numerous voice mails again with no return call. I have obviously cancelled this policy as of 12/2024. Unfortunately, I still have $4,269.23 in claims yet to be addressed. I have reported them to the Deparment of Insurance and the Better Business Bureau. I was never given an address for the company but was told they were located in Reading, PA. Staff I have had contact with were Albert, Tara, Brittney, and Dezera. Seguro was also a name listed as part of the company e-mail. Customer service number 866-535-5238.
Avoid working with this company!!
FYI they are all very pleasant on the phone if you can actually speak to a person. They will promise you immediate correction - it never comes.
Update as of 6/20/2025

Scammers
Worse company to work with. Even the company that they give you buy insurance says they are bad. Don’t waste your money. Don’t trust them.
They changed their name to Seguro medico.
Quick health/optimed/Seguro SCAM
Is there any government or state agency that can help us??? This fraud cannot continue. There are hundreds of people that they have scammed money. It’s so frustrating. My son committed to a policy for health insurance through OptiMed/Seguro/ Quick Health he was in a panic because he was coming off his father‘s health insurance and he needed a new plan quickly because he suffers from Crohn’s disease and needs highly expensive treatments every eight weeks. They withdrew nearly $6000 out of his bank account, when I realized this I told him to cancel which he did the next day that was back in September. The company will not return your phone calls Customer service agents act like you’re bothering them because you want your money back, the company is a scam. If you look on the Better Business Bureau there are hundreds of people who have been scammed by them.
I would give them a negative number
I would give them a negative number. They have scammed me and scammed me. Promised the moon and delivered nothing, I am in the process of disputing the charge from them and a refund they promised and never delivered. Stay away and don't do business with these corrupt people and company.
Not your fault but beware!!
First of all, I realize people have been severely taken advantage of by Quick Health (also known by many other names, including, Benefits Now.) You are not to blame for expecting this rotted group to be honest with you. They are not! It does not serve anyone to call them because they never respond and the member service agents say things like, "Oh wow. I'm so sorry!" or, "I don't know. Let me transfer you to a voice mail." Yet, they never call you back. This is their M.O. You're wasting time in an effort to solve your issues. When you are looking for insurance, make SURE you go through legitimate (authorized) avenues. You can contact the insurance company, directly or you can contact the hospital in your area and ask if they have someone there who can help you sign up for the correct insurance for you. We have the Washington Healthcare Finder. That puts your insurance in your own hands. No better way!
Lastly, there is a lot of information on the internet about this company (Quick Health, Seguro Medico, Benefits Now). Do your homework and never give anyone on the phone your personal information. I know you feel bad, but don't. Do your homework extensively before signing up for anything. Take care!
The positive reviews are from them. No person in their right mind would give them anything other than zero stars. That's what scammers do, they make it look like they aren't.
Fraudulent Broker Interested Only In Sales
In September of 2023, I was reached out to by QuickHealth Insurance, and offered coverage. Being financially unstable at the time, and needing my yearly physical, I took it. I applied, and paid $411.30. In doing so, I had my physical in October of that year. Following the appointment, Evergreen Health could not get a hold of QuickHealth, requiring me to reach out to them on my end. Following this, I was told by them it would take up to 90 days to receive reimbursement for the appointment, but not to worry, as they were taking care of everything. However, in January, I was informed by her that the claims had been resubmitted, and was then told to wait until March. In doing so, I regularly called in to ensure everything flowed normally. March arrives, and I have received no reimbursement. As a result, I am forced to pay the bill out of pocket (mind you, from my student debt savings) to avoid late fees. From here, QuickHealth basically gave up on me. They instructed me to call Evergreen Health and SBMA on my end, and settle it with them. Between March and June, I was thrown around like a hot potato, being told by all three businesses I needed to take it up the other. In this time, I made a COUNTLESS number of phone calls, sometimes spanning multiple days a week. Ultimately though, I went in circles, and went nowhere, receiving no assistance from QuickHealth in the process.
Everything said and done, June comes, and the truth comes out. It turns out, QuickHealth lied to me, and my coverage wasn't activated until December, two months after the appointment. Meaning, every claim I (keyword I not THEM) submitted was declined because my coverage was not active at the time, and all of my efforts were for nothing in the end.
As a final attempt at closure, they informed me to submit claims to my bank for the fraudulent charges in September. By this point, it was way too late, and the bank declined them, as it fell out of their timeframe for submitting claims when said charges occurred.
By August, I had finally had enough, and confronted them about everything. I was promised an E-Check, but things are going exactly as you'd think. I am continuing to make phone calls and send emails, but am either met with deaf ears, or merely being told it is "processing." It is now February, and I still have received nothing, and am not convinced it is ever coming.
Everything said and done, this is the absolute worst customer service I have ever received in my life. For an insurance broker, they don't seem to understand the concept of it. As the broker, it is THEIR JOB to take care of me. Instead, I have basically paid them to take matters into my own hands, and be told false promises that doing so would earn me my reimbursement. It feels extremely disrespectful when I am simply asking for them to communicate with me on things clearly, and get them done in a timely manner. Instead, I have been left poking them and breathing down their necks for things that never even ended up happening. At this point, when I can't even get them to give me a simple refund on fraudulent charges, there's big problems.
Most notably, this business has leeched off of my finances. In December of 2023, I requested my billing information be taking off of autopay, as I could not afford it anymore. Despite this, I received a charge in January, and two back to back charges in February, totaling around $468.45. I called in multiple times to address this, and they did nothing. In March, when my bank noticed they were attempting to charge me again, it took me CANCELLING my debit card to finally get the charges to stop. For every fraudulent charge, I was informed that management was not "offering refunds," and merely just extended my coverage. In hindsight, this did nothing for me, and I should not have let them take advantage of me like that. From there, the billing system went haywire. I received endless text messages and emails from them, attempting to charge me for coverage and sell me new plans. Meaning, in this time, I was only ever reached out to and cared for when QuickHealth was trying to make sales…
All I am asking for is reimbursement for all of my fraudulent charges. As I've said before, I don't ask for much, and simply want to put this behind me. However, I'm convinced they are waiting for me to stop calling them so they can wiggle their way out of paying me. Safe to say, that's NOT going to happen. Regardless of how long this takes, and how far I have to push it, I will only seize communication with them once I am met with what I deserve.
Update: Upon calling for the status of my Echeck, I was informed that the employee who had promised it to me no longer works with the company, and was basically told that I was never going to get a refund in the first place…
FRAUD
This company is very FRAUDULENT please DO NOT TRUST. They are working you making sure you get strung along if you want to cancel within a certain time frame. I CANCELED in writing and 2 years later they are still threatening me. I filed a complaint and have spoken with the Washington State Insurance commissioner a year and a half ago. It is beyond outrageous. I called my CC company 2 years ago to reverse the charges and they did. They have been harassing me ever since. They should really get zero stars. All the company workers are frauds do not trust. Do not give them any money.
I wrote a good review on July 15th
I wrote a good review on July 15th, 2024 because after speaking to the manager, she reassured me my problems will be solved. I was charged several times per month. And when getting a simple yearly checkup for myself and my 5 year old daughter nothing was covered, my insurance policy was not valid. I ended up paying all my health bills out of pocket because I did not want a bad credit score. I have since called and emailed back and talked to many customer service representatives and no one follows up. I have been charged monthly for 9 months and never got coverage. After submitting my Quick Health cancelation letter, they continue to withdrawing from my credit card, twice in a month too. I continuously receive threatening emails because I disputed these charged with my bank and they claim my policy is not canceled. I had to cancel my credit card to stop the theft from this company. Warning do not get this health insurance plus they constantly change broker / carrier name so it gets really difficult trying to contact them.
Quick Health has owned and promised me…Don’t trust this company
Quick Health has owned and promised me a refund of over three thousand dollars since April 2024. The last person I spoke with promised me an echeck but I guess that was also a lie. They all admit they owe me the money but will not return it
PLEASE STAY AWAY!
PLEASE STAY AWAY!
They switched their company name a few times and I think they are currently called Seguro Medico. Let me tell you, they are quite literally the worst company i've ever had to deal with. I should of learned my lesson the first time they flipped my life upside down.
Currently going on 4 months waiting on a pretty substantial refund. They have "Guaranteed" me my refund by the end of October 2024 and then by the end of January 2025. Here we are in February 2025 still waiting on close to $4000.
If you are brave enough to sit on the phone for a minimum of 40 minutes, you will be happy to know that the managers are either unavailable or not in the office. Don't worry, if you leave a voicemail asking for a call back, they will not call you back either. It actually seems like the managers are going out of their way to avoid me at this point, which definitely makes me feel warm and fuzzy about their integrity.
I know what your thinking, maybe their online chat feature or an email will work better? Nope. They are pretty good at avoiding me on there too.
They claim that the responsibility of the refund is on the broker. If that's the case, why would Serguro Medico sign me up with an insurance provider that is not legitimate? We had to cancel my policy because the insurance company refused to pay for my routine yearly physical in December 2023. (I still owe my medical provider $570 for this because the situation is not resolved)
If this was the first and only time I had to cancel illegitimate insurance because they were unprofessional & dishonest, maybe I could be more patient and flexible. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've had to cancel my policy within 1 year. If Seguro is going to sign me up with some sketchy insurance policy to make a quick buck, then they can give me my refund and deal with the broker paying them back.
UNBELIEVABLE.
This can't be real!
This can't be real!? Right?
There is nothing more I can add that has already been stated in other reviews. Very unprofessional. And that's being nice. They will take your money and sell you a plan that will not work. They will turn around and try and get you another plan, but wait! You still need that refund that they promise you as well. Trying to call them and/or leaving a voicemail will get you nowhere. Nobody answers, and nobody calls back. They will also charge your bank with different amounts, hoping that at least one of the transactions goes through. Without authorization, of course! Stay far, very far away from Quick Health. I dug deeper into this company and it's employees, wow. Not even shocked. Albert Groff, is the perfect example of what a POS really is."To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech."

I'd i could give this company 0 stars i would. This is an absolute scam. Paid in full foe the year over 6,000. After being pre-approved for my surguries they refused to pay the hospital, surgeons and surgical center, leaving me in massive medical debt. After attempting to call, spent hours and hours on hold. After specifically canceling my insurance they charged my credit card another $7,000 and are attempting to put me into arbitration. This company is the worst and only wants to prey on the weak and vulnerable that need insurance, just to leave them in a worse financial situation than before. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
