Scammed by Robert Stone and CEO Afiya
I hired this company after they contacted me and assured me they could significantly improve my online presence and SEO results. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
From the beginning, I felt that I was promised far more than what was actually delivered. Communication quickly became inconsistent, and it often felt like my concerns were being ignored rather than addressed. Scheduled meetings were missed, and when I did manage to get a response, I was frequently told that someone was "busy" and would get back to me later. As a paying client, this level of professionalism was unacceptable.
One of my biggest concerns was the monthly reporting. The reports consistently showed excellent keyword rankings and impressive progress. However, whenever I independently checked those same keywords, the results simply didn't match what I was being shown. When I questioned these discrepancies, I received vague explanations instead of clear answers. Rather than investigating or providing evidence, I was repeatedly told that "these things happen," which did not inspire confidence.
I also found the sales process to be very disappointing. Before I signed up, there was a great deal of emphasis on why I should leave my existing marketing provider, along with numerous promises about how much better the service would be. Looking back, those promises were never fulfilled. The level of service after payment was completely different from what had been presented during the sales conversations.
Overall, I felt that my expectations were set unrealistically high, the communication was poor, and the transparency regarding campaign performance was lacking. I invested both time and money expecting professional digital marketing services, but I did not receive the level of service that had been promised.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you are considering working with them, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions, verify any reported results independently, and make sure everything promised is documented in writing before making a commitment.
