Epilift with Rachel

Yesterday I had an Epilift with Rachel. I am 66 years old and felt conscious of the lines on my face and neck. After an initial enquiry I had a zoom consultation then decided to book. Rachel explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions. She was very reassuring throughout the process and kept asking me if I was ok. After the Epilift I had an LED treatment to aid recovery. The results show in about 3 months but we could see an improvement already. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rachel Katie Cosmetics and having an Epilift.

I had the most appalling experience at…

I had the most appalling experience at Rachel Katie Cosmetics, this is not the first horrible experience I’ve had.
I booked microneedling for the full face and neck, including salmon DNA, with the option to add the under‑eye salmon DNA, exactly the same treatment I previously had with Natalie, which I was very pleased with. I booked the same treatment again.
When I came, I was seen by a practitioner I had never met before. She informed me that the treatment I booked only included under‑eye salmon DNA, not the full face and neck. I explained that this was not what I had previously received. She then left the room to speak with the manager, leaving me waiting in the room.
I could hear them discussing my treatment in the corridor, so I stepped out to clarify the situation. Both the manager and the practitioner ignored me completely! The manager repeatedly referred to me as “she” while speaking to the practitioner, despite me standing right next to them. When I said that I was present and she could speak to me directly, I was ignored again, and again she spoke to Shannon and kept saying 'she' when I was standing right next to her. This behaviour was unprofessional, disrespectful, and entirely unacceptable, especially from a clinic where I have been a regular client and spend a significant amount on treatments.
I ultimately left because I was not willing to tolerate that level of disrespect.
While driving home (a one‑hour journey), I missed a call from the clinic. Shortly after, I received an email accusing me of “walking out” and claiming that my previous treatment had been undercharged due to a mistake, something I was never informed about. Calling this a “gesture of goodwill” is misleading when I had no knowledge of it.
I responded to clarify that the issue was not the cost, but the way I was treated. The reply I received was dismissive and unprofessional:
“I am very sorry you felt like that. As you can imagine, we see lots of clients so things get on top of us all and unfortunately the manager was dealing with another client at the same time.”
This response fails to acknowledge the behaviour I experienced or take responsibility for it, accusing that somehow this is how I felt and I have to deal with this. As a loyal client who has booked monthly treatments, I find this level of service appalling! Avoid this clinic if you don't want to have stress, being treated badly and loosing your time and ultimately money.

First time Lip Filler

I had 0.5ml lip filler for the first time, with Michael.

He was honestly fantastic.

Very down to earth, extremely good at his job and very relaxed. He gave me advise on my shape based on my lip shape. I felt so comfortable and would only want to go back to him for a top up!

Warning

Warning: I had a terrible experience at R & M aesthetic cosmetics Rachael Katie owner. First, they sold me a misleading advertisement for a 4-day course. After I paid, the course became a two-day course because I had beauty levels 2 and 3, but the website did not specify that those who had these levels would only have a two-day course, not even her in her e mails. Well, I went to the course on 24th of August, Melani was teaching the course, and it was a two-hour, poorly managed theory course with no anatomy whatsoever. She wanted us to apply filler to half of a client's mouth, but we didn't even hold a syringe or learn anything about it... In short, a course that was truly horrible and unprofessional. I have a lot to say, but I just want to warn you not to fall for a course like this. Don't look at the 4 stars they have, that doesn't mean anything! They are only interested in money, not quality. They are not at all concerned about the professionals. That's why we see so many cases that’s go wrong by people like these, and they are just selling a certificate!

As you only completed a small portion of the 20-hour course, we believe your experience could have been more comprehensive had you been able to finish the full program. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back at a time when you feel more ready, so you can truly experience the full value of the course. Your growth and confidence are our priorities, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Your decision to change your mind about pursuing aesthetics is not something for which we can take responsibility. We had arranged several models for practice, as supervised hands-on experience is an essential part of the learning process, how else would you learn? Other students who participated that day and completed the course have since gained confidence and provided positive feedback, including 5 star reviews , and we continue to support them in their journey.

- The course was not mis-sold to you. You were fully aware of the prerequisites, as you had completed NVQ Levels 1, 2, and 3, which included anatomy and physiology. Additionally, you were informed of the course duration, which you confirmed with us before attending.

It is important to address the claims you made online, particularly regarding "so many cases go wrong." This statement is false and a strong accusation considering you have not completed a course with R&M nor had treatments at Rachael Katie cosmetics. None of our students or professionals at our clinic have ever caused such harm. We strictly follow guidelines set by UK law and insurance companies to maintain the highest standards of training and treatments.
I kindly ask your review is revised or removed to avoid legal action.

We have gone above and beyond to accommodate you, including offering additional training to help ease your nerves, which you declined. Again your decision to change your mind about pursuing aesthetics is not something for which we can take responsibility. This is something that should have been carefully considered prior to booking the course.

Should you wish to discuss this further, we encourage you to reach out to us privately. We kindly ask that you revise or take down the online review to avoid further legal action.
