Late delivery

I have previously had multiple orders from this company without issues however the last 2 orders I have made has taken more than a week to arrive even though it states if what your ordering is not in stock it will take 3/5 days to come from their European warehouse. Waiting more than a week for something to arrive is a bit excessive.if you want something delivered quickly order from someone else.

Had a big problem,but was told it was…

Had a big problem,but was told it was us,been doing engine rebuilds for 20 + years,very rude email from them,won't be using these ever again,buyers beware,once they have your money,that's it,the most unhelpful company I have ever dealt with!

The shipping was great arrived in a…

The shipping was great arrived in a couple days but had some problems with the top end I ordered the piston didn’t properly fit and the cylinder head was missing some important holes for the thermostat over all great service but make sure the parts your buying are good quality 👍

Very satisfied in 2024

I've ordered a few bits in 2024 without any issue.
Communication is really good and parts are very well packaged when they arrive.
Prices are good as is quality.
I'll continue to use in 2025

Excellent service and value

2nd time I’ve ordered and had excellent service, great products and excellent value.
Even items that had to come from EU warehouse arrived in 5 days including the weekend. Email at every stage of process.
One of the parts doesn’t fit, but that’s my fault. I was taking a chance on something. Not RCs fault!
All these negative reviews are unjustified in my opinion. Ignore them. These people are never satisfied and many blatantly lie.
Very happy customer. Thanks!

While rebuilding an engine after my neighbours lad inadvertently run it out of 2 stroke oiI. I have to say this company has bent over backwards to help me locating the correct parts always replying to emails promptly they always had an outcome for my issues their eBay shop is just as good. I can understand why they don't except phone calls. Well done guys pleasure dealing with you really glad I found your shop saved me so much grief and time.

Item I wanted not sent

Wanted one thing only available from them. Ordered more parts to make up a reasonable amount due to the shipping cost. The part I wanted from them and they took my order as there was stock at the time I ordered, was subsequently not sent and refunded with no explanation or opportunity to cancel the order.

Ordered a Peugeot speedfight 100cc gear oil seal and bearing set, ordered on the 22nd of April, I have had no emails regarding shipping information or even if it’s been dispatched email, obviously still waiting to see if it arrives as it’s only been 5 days but would of thought I would of got a email about it being dispatched.

The fact that they are a small company…

The fact that they are a small company and dont allow calls is a mistake, Id have my mobile available 24 7.
Sadly sent me the wrong Variator kit and now after 19 days Im waiting on a refund that was supposed to be in my bank "within 24 hours" 5 days ago.

This review is wholly unfair and untrue. Originally you ordered from us and your address was incomplete. We emailed you asking for your house number to which you replied saying we were scamming him by asking for the address!!
You then accused of selling on your details saying you had received 'phishing' calls and apparently you thought this was our doing which was complete nonsense.

On top of this you ordered a part for completely the wrong bike and you blame us?!!! We still accepted the variator back happily and issued the refund the very same day we received it back and sent you an email with the sagepay refund transaction ID proof but this was still not enough for you. i suggest you check your bank statements properly as you have had the refund and stop trying to sabotage honest businesses.

You have been entirely in the wrong throughout this and we have done nothing wrong but you have decided it to be the right thing to do by slandering us when we are 100% honest, conscientious and operate with total integrity and have done for 20 years. Yes, we are a small company but as you will have seen from the near instant replies to your numerous emails you will see we take our customer services very seriously.

I'm afraid that your claims have absolutely no substance and you clearly have for some reason decided to target us.

Please do not purchase from us again.

Item lost in transit

I ordered a kickstart shaft from this company costing £13-92, I was away when it came and my daughter took the package in as the letter box is on the gate post,she sent me a photo of the 2 packages that arrived that day, and when I got home the package from Racing planet was empty and the bag looked like it had been opened, I spoke to my daughter and she told me there was nothing of any weight in the package when she took it from the box. I contacted RP and they said they had a photo from the courier showing a lump in the package as proof of the shaft being inside,they sent me the photo but I don't think it was proof. I am pretty sure the shaft was lost in transit but RP were adamant that I had received it. I fully explained everything to Pay pal but they took the word of RP before me. I am an OAP and I am neither a thief or a lair, I just cannot under stand why they would not send me another shaft or give me a refund as I had proof (my daughters word) that the item was not in the package.

I don’t review unless necessary exceptional service

I have spent in total a little over £800 in the last 6 months on multiple orders, (around 9) and I just don’t understand the negative reviews, packages shipped in time, all stock available, arriving in pristine condition and most importantly; processed first thing the following day. not once have I had a negative experience, they have been consistent since I used them a decade ago. The only thing I’d like to see would be a loyalty card;)
Other than that they’ve been spot on.

First time using but Didn’t Deliver after 20-days!

Ordered some parts off their website for my sons scooter on 04/05 & paid £4.95 for 3-5days delivery… 20-days later & still nothing! Contacted them twice using the ticket system (Which works ok), first response was that one of the items was coming from the EU warehouse?… that is fair enough but they could have still sent the other parts & even delivered within the 3-5days as i’ve had items from EU/overseas surprisingly quick from other companies, and they did all show as “in stock” when placing my order! The second reply was 21/04 & told that the items were “lost” but they would be shipped immediately & I would receive them in the next day or 2🤔… Still Nothing! Appreciate this was a Friday but I still get deliveries on Sat & Sunday but nothing has arrived🤷‍♂️ it may be that they genuinly did “loose” the parts but either way they could have offered to cancel my order for a full refund as I requested in my second ticket respone or at the very least offer to refund the 3-5days shipping charge which they could not deliver as Claimed! I will now try & request again to cancel my order for a full refund (including the postage) & see how it goes via their ticket system… failing that I will need to waste more time contacting my bank to request the money back as the items have not been received! First time using Racing Planet… and likely my last going by my first experience with them so far. Read through some of the reviews here & on Google & noticed their is quite a few negative reviews regarding delivery/refunds etc… typical I should have read the reviews PRIOR to ordering from a company I haven’t used before!!! I will see how the refund goes & update with any feedback🤞 TBC

I have checked the order and I see that there was a delay due to the bank holidays and then it was discovered to have been lost by UPS. We tried to track the order down and rectify the issue as quick ads possible in which time we responded to each email ticket sent within 24 hours of each email so we did do our best to resolve the issue as quick as possible for you.

The option to cancel is always there for customers and we would always be happy to refund, no problem.

I see the order was dispatched on Friday 21st and delivered today Monday 24th.

Again we offer our sincere apologies for the delay in the delivery. It is most unusual for UPS to lose a parcel like this. If it was a UK stock order we would have simply re-sent the order from our stock but obviously had to wait for the order to come over from Europe again.
We will happily refund your delivery for the inconvenience.

Absolutely catastrophic experience

I bought an adjustable c hook spanner from these guys and after tightening a nut to 50 NM, the threads on the adjustor stripped causing. The tool to be unusable, so I contacted racingplanet and they stopped communicating with me after 1 message which is a real shame as I have been buying stuff from these guys for a long time.
