Since the day I used Racknerd, it had been excellent. Whenever I had an issue, I was able to resolve it through the ticketing system, within two three interactions. I was skeptical first about the system because I was used to chat interactions previously. But, now I believe the ticketing system is much better, all because their response times are absolutely great.
I'm also happy that they offered shared hosting packages because I migrated as soon as I got the chance.
last but not least, value for money is exceptional, I'm really satisfied and will not hesitate to recommend Racknerd to anyone.

Racknerd offers VPS's to suit all needs at rates which are the best I have seen in the market (as low as 1/6th of the equivalent).

Getting the service was easy and I received my sever details within minutes.

There is good information on site. Chat, e-mail and support response is quick and efficient.

The server works well and meets all my expecations at the level purchased. I used mine for a personal VPN and have no problems running videos up to 4K. Download speeds are the same as dedicated VPN plans 6+ times the price (and I know there are no logs). There is also an individual IPv4 which avoids the possibility of a black listing I have experienced on a VPN's due to sharing the VPN.

For me, I tested at one grade for 2 weeks and purchased a second higher grade server 2 weeks later. (And after buying 2 servers, one of which will become a personal, advert free, search engine, I have still saved a significant amount on the alternatives I was reviewing.)

At this point, I don't see a reason I will not be renewing indefinitely.

Based on my experience, I recommend RackNerd.

I've been a customer for about three months and I've been affected by the same problems Zack Heisenberg described in his review. I'm renting a 2GB VPS from Racknerd with KVM virtualization at a good price.

So far the VPS has spontaneously rebooted every ~20 days, and after each of these spurious reboots all NodeJS processes that normally are auto-started during boot were found not running, and therefore the VPS had to be manually rebooted once more to properly restore its working status. The same software and config files had been running on a different VPS provider for around a decade without such problems. This could be caused by an OOM condition triggered by the KVM "steal" feature, causing a shortage of memory persistent across reboots.

I have recently migrated my hosting services to RackNerd, and I am currently testing a KVM VPS as well. My website is a simple personal site used for testing and experimentation, and it does not involve high traffic, large databases, or any complex setups like Docker or Kubernetes.

Since the migration, I have been actively monitoring my website's uptime and I am pleased to report that there hasn't been a single minute of downtime so far. RackNerd's support team has impressed me with their expertise and responsiveness, promptly addressing any issues or queries I've encountered.

While the overall support experience has been great, I encountered a slight disappointment when a support person requested my private IP to unblock me from the firewall. As someone technically inclined, I expected them to seek my public IP instead, as a private IP of mine should not have any relevance in this context. I believe having a support team with a deep understanding of networking nuances would enhance the overall customer experience.

I appreciate that RackNerd caters to tech-savvy users like myself, providing unmanaged server solutions specifically tailored for enthusiasts. Their slogan, "for nerds by nerds," resonates with me, evoking a sense of community and shared passion for technology.

In conclusion, my experience with RackNerd has been positive overall, and I highly recommend their services to fellow tech enthusiasts seeking a reliable and expert-driven hosting solution.(The ONLY Catch is, Are you "nerd enough" to handle a unmanaged server.)

I've been using RackNerd for about a year now, running two different KVM servers. My experience with the company and their team has been exceptional. 100% server uptime and great customer service in 3 instances where I reached for a question or an upgrade! My go-to provider.

My website feels a lot faster now on their servers too and he also helped me with activating Litespeed cache on my Wordpress site. That is a good plus that is included with their service.

I needed particular servers to have specific bandwidth allocated to allow for massive amounts of data transfer on main channels, with much more limited access on others. Another part of the process was transferring hosts from the previous company I was working with. I won’t mention names but let me say, Racknerd is on a completely different level! Alright, so I've been using Racknerd to run my 35 (well 36 to be exact) nodes for coming up on 15 months now and honestly, I‘ve got to give credit where it’s due. I've had my fair share of experiences with other providers (cough contabo… cough), and they always left a little something to be desired.. or rather a lot more to be desired. With these guys, though, it feels like they've really managed to figure out how to deliver a service that actually performs well and stays online.

Now what really grabbed me about these guys is their customer service. Pretty top-notch stuff for what I pay. There's always someone available to help you out, and they actually know what they're talking about. None of that generic 'have you tried turning it off and on again' nonsense. It's more like you've got a personal friend at your disposal. They’ve been super friendly to talk with and even helped me with the deployment of my 35 nodes. I contacted them a few times at night and a couple times in the day and each time I’ve managed to get a response back

But I guess if I have to pick nits, their user interface could be a bit more intuitive. It's not horrible by any means, but I did have a slight learning curve in the beginning. That being said, once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing. You gotta log into two portals one for the billing and support portal and one for the VPS controls which they call “nerdvm”. Just a small bump to get a bit used to, otherwise seamless experience.

When it comes to pricing, they’re pretty reasonable - you're definitely getting your money's worth. Plus, they often run some great deals and discounts, so keep an eye out for those.

So yeah, if you're in the market for a solid and reliable hosting node provider, I'd definitely recommend giving Racknerd a fair shot. You can do what I did and try them out for one node then add more when you are happy with how things turn out. In my case I started out with one then turned up 35 more a week later once I was satisfied with the flow of things. They've got a good thing going on over there for sure.

When I reported an IPv6 issue the team dug into the problem and in the end figured out a bug on network switches and got a fix from vendor. I admit such approach!

Their customer service is quite commendable. Every time I've reached out to them with a question or an issue, they've responded promptly and handled things in a friendly manner.

In terms of pricing, they're quite competitive. I shopped around for hours and couldn’t find better deals. You definitely get good value for your money with RackNerd no doubt about that.

As a newcomer to the world of VPS, my experience with racknerd has been quite positive. Their services are reasonably priced, making them an excellent choice for beginners like me who are cautious about investments.

The support people at RackNerd are super! They actually listen understand the issue, then resolve it as opposed to transferring you to people and their scripts. I switched from GoDaddy and couldn’t be happier. Systems are easier to use, real people help and I spend less time messing with things.
