The system is a good one in the aspect of retro fitting and no need for awkward sticking to wall behind existing radiator. I think it is too expensive and the hanging rail too flimsy for anything other than short rads. The material does not fold well to fit the rail

No-one can claim the experience is great, wrong adjective. The experience is simply sizing sheets using scissors and positioning them behind radiators.
The process is very straightforward - following the easy instructions. Delivery was as advertised = good. Re-ordering was easy = good website. Customer service re queries was good. Result = satisfaction.

Excellent product big improvement on radiator output

It’s quite difficult to quantify but I have to assume it’s more cost affective to heat a room with 100% of radiant heat as opposed to heat the room with 50% heat and an external solid wall with the other 50%. There has to be a saving. Have we turned our thermostat down? Yes but this is due to the cost of heating nowadays!

Can't say i've noticed any difference in heat retention and lowering of gas bill, maybe you need meters to take before and after heat loss readings?
So, if they work, iv'e not seen an improvement.

We thought with the rising cost of gas that we would give Radflek a try. It was easy to install and has made a difference to retaining heat in the house when radiators are on.

Second house I've set them up in. It's a bit of a fiddly job but I set up my Radflek sheets no problem - assume they are helping I didn't notice any obvious improvement.

I bought Radfelk as a much easier and neater alternative to sticking reflective sheets on to the wall, and hopefully just as effective or more so. They were easy to install, though I varied the installation instructions by taping the sheets in a few places after folding over at the top to keep them folded, by putting some small blocks of wood over some of the radiator brackets to raise the sheets to ensure maximum coverage and by fitting radclips continuously along the top to ensure no bending.
It is difficult to judge the effectiveness of them but the reports from BRE etc are reassuring. One point I would make is that the sheets as installed end up nothing like the diagrams showing a perfectly flat sheet, in practice they end up quite curled and touching both the wall and the radiator in places. It is not clear whether the BRE tests were done with the realistic situation of curly sheets as installed in practice or with the ideal and impractical situation of perfectly flat sheets hanging midway between radiator and wall.

Easy to follow instructions and adaptable sheets and support rods to cover all radiator shapes.
