Anti-social behaviour start a COMMUNITY TRIGGER and help from ASB HELP charity

This company in my opinion allowed my vulnerable family to be harassed and stalked by a local engineering company working from an area close to the council offices. My family had death and sexual threats etc but nothing seemingly was done.
There now after years of looking a charity ASB help and a legal measure the COMMUNITY TRIGGER. My family had to with go our rights and move into the private sector to escape.
The Ombudsman has found this company guilty and ordered to pay compensation.

Disgusting corparation…

Now called Abri in Swaythling Southampton, they have a cafe call the roundabout cafe they are serving food and administering covid-19 vaccinations how disgusting you have blood syringes in there, and they are still serving food, how much did Abri get paid for that, Radian were crap but Abri far worse, all promises from liars about how their services are going to get better for the customer who pays their wages by the way, all they are interested in is taking money and doing nothing for it, the service charge should have gone down because of covid-19 they did no services, yet the service charge went up for Westfield Corner, but I know other people in different roads whose service charge went down how does that work, and don't bother asking me to email you because even if I did you would do nothing about it, because you don't care about residents, who as I will reiterate pay all the staff wages. If I could have given a no star rating I would have done, -200 out of 10 our communal doors in Westfield corner are rotten and are in a state of disrepair they cannot be repaired because they are beyond repair, I asked abri over 8 months ago when are they going to get the doors sorted out I waited patiently 6 months no answer so I phoned up 2 months ago and was told we still don't have an answer how long does it take you to take abri to pull their finger out ??? Any resident of theirs I speak to has nothing good to say about them, Anyone who writes a good review about Abri was probably either paid or works there.

Today I had an issue I thought it might…

Today I had an issue I thought it might be an emergency but overall I was told it wasn't I have an appointment in 4 weeks which is far too long most of our blug sockets have blown .
Which is a fire hassed l have pets an a daughter we have extension leads all around the house witch I extremely dangerous we have never missed a rent payment I hope this can be sorted .

Extremely frustrated and upset

Extremely frustrated and upset. I first signed up to the mailing list for a market rent property last December. After viewing a property back in March but not quite being eligible due to our business being affected because of Covid- we waited another 3 months to be accepted provisionally as the finance department are now looking at applicants case by case. Extremely happy I was constantly checking, phoning, emailing to check availability- sadly I missed a text (due to a dental appointment) and responded just 20 minutes later to be told all viewings appointments are booked. I feel completely discriminated against because I couldn’t get to my message quick enough. After waiting for so long and yet somebody could have been added to the mailing list the day before and still would have had the opportunity to view. Radian expressed this is the fairest way to do it- but if you can’t have your phone on and next to you 24hours you have no chance. What about people who cannot have their phone on whilst working? Surely contacting people in date order and giving them perhaps a day to respond is the fairest way? They claim they don’t have time for that but surely they must know a few months in advance when a property is becoming available. Make the time and make it fair.

POOR POOR POOR

After reporting a known issue to Radian that they have know about since December 2020, with an issue with a fungus within the load bearing frame. Having ask time and time and time again for someone to come out and have a look in the roof above my property, i must have asked at least 5 times over a 2 month period and promises of someone coming out, i am either ignored or no one turns up. Promised calls back that NEVER happen, you will always have to chase them! This company just kicks the can down the road. Not even worth 1 star.
They are not interested in dealing with any issues that will cost them money. AVOID AT ALL COST

Your complaints team have got in contact with me only through email not a call but unfortunately they are unable to do anything as they say she is looking out for my best interests and my well-being convenient wouldn't you say.. even tho she is trying to evict me sending false allegations and passing my details on third parties all which be going on for 3 years now
I'm having to get in contact with my MP and solicitor today as your company seems to be unable to deal with simplest of tasks...
I don't even had handle from my windows for about year now which again is illegal you only just managed to be able to sort out my heating last month which meant I had to go whole of Christmas and New Year with no heating really seems as if you are looking out for my best interest wouldn't you say ...
I generally ask people if you are in a vulnerable position or state not to waste your time with Abri Or Radian as they have destroyed my life ... I don't wish this on my worst enemy
This only been contact with regards to disabled bay which Macmillan ask for last year 02November I'm still waiting 8 months later and that just a simple task by painting few line and write disabled so please don't patronize me by telling me that you are doing all that you can to help when it's quite clearly you're unable to help with the most simplest of tasks Abri and are horrific and I even try committing suicide please do not think about renting or buying a property from these company because they will eventually destroy your life unfortunately

AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ANY COST

What a total and utter waste of my time and money. So following on with my previous review underneath. RADIAN HOMES has now come back saying i wont be able to get my house which will apparently be ready by march due to scaffolding next to it(different building) . Where the minds boggles is when the prpperty next door was being built DID ANYONE WITH A BIT OF COMMON SENSE SEE THE IMPACT IT WILL HAVE ON THE COMPLETED BUILDING NEXT DOOR? As it stands 6 months down the line ive have been offered a refund or stick with them but still without a proper completed date as they can't seems to be able to deliver my plot but can deliver the others. I'm failing to find words to describe my feelings and how the whole process has been happening but they are happy to put the pressure for exchange and to give them an answer on my decision. Ian ive phoned your office last Thursday 25/02/21 and left a message and we are today 4/03/21 and haven't heard back from you. This jsut sums up RADIAN HOMES attitude towards it's customers and the level of CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Another bad review

Another bad review. In a pandemic they have decided to increase our service charge by 100% the funny thing being we have had zero repairs this year apart form one which was abris fault in the first place as they caused the damage! Don’t ever buy a house through them! They say email us to sort it out but nothing ever get sorted! The amount of people they are causing stress to is horrendous! Awful company! Certainly not affordable housing with 100% Payment increase. Many of us will now struggle to pay. But they don’t care less they don’t ever do a job properly and never communicate .

An email was sent as requested, from my wife. What have they done since? From my end it seems absolutely nothing. This Company has a culture of totally ignoring you. Maybe their aim is to frustrate you into submission. One issue of many we have is the lift has NOT been available from our floor for 1 year (even though everyone on our floor has paid for the lift to be maintained). We have all complained numerous times and yet Radian have never had the courtesy to even apologise for the inconvenience let alone give us an idea when it might be fixed. My wife did receive a phone call last week to say it was in fact working. Why would you do that when it clearly isn't and hasn't been. Nobody could of checked. How incompetent are these people? Our list of complaints is as long as your arm and we have given them a little while to buck up their ideas. Obviously threats of not paying the service charge or taking legal action is something they have heard all before. Trust me, they don't seem bothered. They will be though, very soon.
Once again, I shall update you all further.

As for Radian don't put your normal cut and paste response asking us to email you. We did! You've done nothing since!

Poor housing been having problems for…

Poor housing been having problems for some time now at our flat to the point we have got into a lot of debt to redone the flat up over and over again cos of mold and damp we do everythling we was told to do and yet still comes back and worse been waiting for a call since last week and still nothing its been giving us health problems but that dont matter to them we have now got to find the money and start all over again got to get new sofas carpit and so on we made a complaint over a month ago and still no work has been done its unacceptable the way we have to live and use our benefits and get loans to pay for things over and over again that we shouldnt have to do really 5 years we have been here and none stop problems since one good thing is some of the staff there are nice and good but other then that not happy with the way things are they could do better and do the jobs better and when they should be done really ya asking me to email you no thanks already done this and look what happened still waiting over a month ago and all week being told im getting a call back and never happenes iv got it all recorded as well so no im just getting lies after lies

Shambles company. Sketchy process & Reservation theft

Shambles company. Make you reserve fancy houses that are severely over priced then promise things they cannot deliver. Your rep will never bother to ask all the necessary questions to the site manager because they won't want to "hassle" them. Their plans seem to change and deviate from what you think you'll be getting. Blueprints don't seem to reflect the actual property and they will just say it's common when buying off plan. The funny thing is, they still don't seem to know this rudimentary information even when your house is standing and accessible. Images will never be sent of your property as promised and you'll never be able to see inside until handover week which is daft when trying to plan your new life. They make out that once you've reserved, the place is safe and all yours but that could be further from the truth. Watch out for their Torc24 brokers too. Some sort of scam going on there where they constantly change their mind on what you can borrow then Radian will say you've lost your deposit and that they've offered your property to someone else when you're months into the process. Horrible, horrible experience.

Be warned

Be warned! We have recently moved out of our 2 bed flat, and we’re shocked to find out they were trying to hold back over half of our deposit. The flat was left spotless after an end of tenancy professional clean. The list of deductions is laughable. £300 for redecoration. We have lived there over 2 years so yes there was the odd scuff mark on the walls etc which is noting more than wear and tear. I have rented in London for over 14 years and have never had an issuer with getting my full deposit back. They are nothing more than thieves trying it on. I would never recommend this company and steer clear

A company to avoid!

All of the other comments below are completely true of Radian (now Abri), I guess that they think changing their name will make a difference.

My issues:

Don't answer complaints
Don't respond to correspondence in a reasonable timescale
Don't carry out repairs in a reasonable timescale
Charge fees for poor workmanship that has to be done over and over again
Quick to issue warnings without consultation
Does not care about the due care and comfort of tenants/leaseholders

Overall, they are only interested in making money. Sadly staff hide behind the many policies that are setup to protect these organisations. Isn't it time that they became regulated with an organisation to ensure they do what they are suppose to?

No doubt they will ask me to email customer services... 2 responses

Really really poor service

Really really poor service. Not happy with the hallway alarm going off. At 1am in the morning "They said they will fix it And lots off residence have been complaining"But once again they just don't CARE!!! If you thinking about using this service don't bother... Just look at all the other complaints😡

When is my partner and kids going to

When is my partner and kids going to have heating because its extremely cold as she suffers very bad with a rare condition where there was a gas leak now been made unsafe aswell as provided my partner with a little heater that won't warm the house up enough suffering with headache and telling us there waiting for the part to come in this has been going on now for 3 days and nights with 2 children under five years old I thought this would be a priority job in 24 hours as no heating.

Fire door jammed

A fire exit door was jammed shut. Radian informed four times. No action taken. Fire Brigade had to come to break the lock. Radian could not care less about the safety of their tenants. They just want your money.

Fire Safety Officer contacted these people and was informed there were no reports of a defective door. I was very pleased to give copies of two emails sent to these people to the FSO. The door is now fixed. Really pays to report issues to outside agencies

When was my family's safety ever considered?

I had a neighbour with a known drug habit, threatening to kill my children. Involved in ASB, stalking, violent behaviour, death of a family pet, threats to knife a Police officer etc.
Some may ask why would Radian allow his tenancy to continue given his behaviour?
Radian how can you justify the disparity of this tenants continued residency when missing a rent payment receives an eviction notice regardless of having a disabled child?
This neighbour was involved in an "attempted murder" and there was a Police investigation; now rehomed by Radian; why are victims of these types of behaviour generally allowed to suffer without being moved to somewhere probably safer?
Why was this situation allowed to continue for so long?
When was the community's safety considered?
Additionally, when was my family's safety ever considered?

Dreadful resales department

As a shared owner with Radian I can honestly say 1 star is even too high a score. I have yet to deal with a single individual in the leasehold or resales department that does any work, or shows an iota of caring in their dealing with customers. All onus is put on the customer to do much of the legwork chasing for interest and yet they still charge you for selling! Not sure what aspect of selling they actually do but nothing is an understatement. Avoid at all costs.
